HT1975 Some of my apps and iphone info tells me to go to "settings" and in "settings" go to "location services" to enable apps such as a golf app to use gps . When I go to "settings" there is no option called "location services". Why not?

go to your open apps (double click on the home button). remove all of the apps you have open there.
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Follow these steps to reset your device
Note: Reset your device only if it is no longer responding and the steps above do not work.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

if those don't work you may have to restore your ipad and see if that doesn't fix anything
I think your issue is an open tab you have in Safari but it could be a number of things.
If these don't work, I would go to the apple store, tell them you pretty much did everything you could and the issue comes back, then you can deduce what the issue is possible by keeping track of which apps you have open. -
just upgraded to ios5 on my ipad2. Some of the apps that use to be on the ipad no longer apperar there. They do appear in i tunes on my desktop computer. How to I transferr them back to my ipad2.
IOS5 upgrade wipes your iPad disk. When you re-sync to your computer, you should get all of the apps that are checked under the Apps page in iTunes.

I got mine (2 weeks ago) 64GB WiFi+3G (Verizon) from the apple store online
I didnt have to do anything to it, turned it on, activated it, got it on my home network then I signed up for the 3G data service, it works where ever I happen to be. (if there is an unknown WiFi connection available it asks me if I want to join before it continues to connect to the 3G when I am surfing or getting e-mail)

I just downloaded itunes, and when i go to music there are two options. You can either go to the itunes store or scan for media, and when I click on scan for media it does nothing. Help? (I tried deleting itunes and re-installing it but apparently itunes was still on my computer so it asked me if I wanted to just check and see if there were any issues or missing software, so I did that but i still had the same problem.)

Thanks!The option to update from device was only brought in with iOS5, so as stedman1 says you'll have to connect to computer and use iTunes.

When I go through the 'import favorites' from Internet Explorer, everything seems to progress correctly. However, when I click on Bokkmarks, there is no option in the menu for accessing the imported items form EI. Why would this option be missing and is there a fix for this?

Are you sure the Bookmarks you important are nowhere to be found? They should be stored in your bookmark manager, somewhere. To access the bookmark manager, go into ''Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks...''. Try searching there.
You can change their place from there too. -
