Check your Apple ID under Settings > iTunes and App Store and make sure it is entered correctly.

Sounds like the backup you're using to restore from is corrupt. Restoring from a corrupt backup will continue to restore the problem. I'd suggest you start fresh and delete all of your current iPhone backups(there should only be one). You can delete them here: iTunes>Preferences>Devices.

I have safari 7.0.2 and OS 10.9.4, everytime I try to install a safari extension such as, Pocket, I get an error message that says, Cannot install extension, I get this with every one of them. Does anyone else have this problem?

Back up all data before proceeding.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. I have exactly the same issue as described above : I installed the update 5.1.1 on my iphone 3GS and since then, I can not turn it on anymore. In Itunes, I get an error 37 when I am doing a restauration and it stops.
This error has nothing to do with firewall : I tried to restore the phone on several computers, including in an Apple reseller and it did not work anywhere.
I spent several hours on phone with the hotline from Apple which arrived to the conclusion that it is a hardware issue, but the phone was working perfectly fine until I installed this update!

I have random songs that a have paid for but they just disappear, or cannot be downloaded and so on. Sometimes they are indexed wrongly, and can't be found because of that, no work around because also the search function of itunes has gotten totally unusable. It's available in Warnock Pro but the st one which is designed in Warnock doesn't apply.

Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls, such as lost ratings and playlist membership.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

Does anyone else have this problem - I can't close iTunes!

Does any else get this really annoying problem? When I run iTunes, after a while the 'Accessing iTunes Store' display line at the top of the screen gets stuck (the stripey horizontal line just shows moving stripes forever). When this happens, I can no longer access the iTunes store AND I can't close the program! iTunes has not actually hung though, and I can still play music. The only way I can close iTunes is by killing it using Task Manager. If I click on the close icon, nothing happens.
I had this problem on version 7 and it's still there after upgrading to version 8. I might even have had it on earlier versions, I can't remember. Also, I had the same problem on another PC! When I transferred my library and account details to the new PC, the problem came with them.
I really like iTunes, but I'm totally fed up with this ridiculous problem which I've now had for a long time. I can still buy music as long as I do it before the problem hits. But it always happens eventually (after say 30 mins? Maybe less). iTunes diagnostics is no help. It always tells me that everything's working fine.

QUite a lot of freexing problems have been associated with Bonjour. This FAQ tells you what it does and how to temporarily disable it as a test.

If turning off bonjour solves your problem and you don't need what it does you can uninstall it and iTunes will still work.

While playing a game or on Facebook, sometimes the game or program just goes off. Then I have to start over. It seems to be doing it more often. Does anyone else have this problem and can you tell me how to fix it?

Stupid thing is my computer works fine only internet connected stuff causes TOTAL freezes: nothing works. <CTRL>+<ALT>+<DEL> doesnt react. <ESC> neighter. I can only get my computer to react by "killing" it completely with power shut off ("pull the plug") and starting up from scratch.
My partners computer is working fine. He also has updated to V10.0.2 And can play the game or do anything else. It happens on my laptop with Windows vista.
Now Im typing this on an other computer. So the computer details of this one are NOT RELEVANT. Please ignore.
Because of TOTAL freeze I get NO troubleshooting information.
The whole screen is a still. Sorry.
So, now Im pretty sure its FF V10.0.2 cause we've ruled out pretty much everything else and before I go through the whole installation process... This is my LAST hope.

Since the release of Firefox 4 beta 8, everytime I go to any Google site, the entire browser freezes. Does anyone else have this problem?

Has had this problem with www.google.com and www.gmail.com. When the browser freezes, it lets me close it but I still have to end the firefox process via Windows Task Manager.
