If your keyboard is already paired with another device that is in range then you must unpair it first (see page of the keyboard manual).

Can you turn the power of a Mac Pro on using the wireless keyboard?

I have my Mac Pro tower at the other end of a table and I want to remotely turn it on with the Wireless keyboard or Trackpad.

That's great news! Thank you so much for your help. Does that mean im limited at 3.0ghz? Is there away to tell what the motherboard can max out to? Lets say I upgrade in three years and i want to put in a 3.5 or whatever may be available then. As long as its the same type of chip do i have that option? Or is 3.0 the max for the current intel motherboard?

How can I use the "open file" alarm on an iPhone?

In the iCal program on a Mac, I can set an alarm to open a webpage at a specified time each morning automatically by using the "open file" feature in iCal and using a .webloc file for the URL. However, the event, when synced through iCloud, does not open the webpage on my iPhone. Is there a way for me to use the "open file" feature on my iPhone?
If not by using the "open file" feature, is there a way (through an app or other setting) for me to open a website or a program at a specified time each morning? Thanks!

I'm guessing that Week Cal has some sort of setting that you use to point it to your calendar, yes?
If so:
#1 make sure that Sync iCal Calendars is unchecked in iTunes.
#2 on your iPhone... Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > turn OFF Calendars for all accounts.
Now the iOS should no be looking to make contact with any data for Calendar.

My MACbook is connected to my iMAC using thunderbolt. How can I use my wireless keyboard with my MACBook with the lid OPEN?

It might work with the lid closed but I want to use the both screens. I try to detect the keyboard and the track pac on my Macbook pro but nothing is detected except my iMAC.

The easiest way is to copy the iTunes folder from your old PC to your MB (put it in the Music folder as a subfolder), along with the other valuable data on the old PC. Or restore it from a backup of your old PC. Then authorize iTunes on the MB to the same account you had on the PC. When you sync it will warn you that your content will be deleted, but it will be replaced with the same content from the MB. Before syncing you should also make sure there is at least one entry in iCal and Address book on the MB (assuming you sync to Outlook or equivalent on the PC) to assure that your contacts and calendar entries will move over correctly.
Al alternative that is less effective is to connect the iPhone to the MB without syncing, and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes File menu. This willl copy purchases music, videos and apps, but not ripped tracks from the iPhone to the MB.

That's the kind that works with the iPad.
You may need to go into settings and turn bluetooth on. THen follow the pairing instructions on your keyboard (usually you turn the bluetooth on, your ipad will 'see' the keyboard, it'll tell you to type a series of characters on the keyboard adn then the devices will be paired.)
once they are paired, the ipad will default to the bluetooth keyboard anytime it senses it, which means the on screen keyboard will not pop up as long as the blue tooth is sensed and active.

Is it possible to use the wireless keyboard on a PC?

After assurances from the Apple store that the Bluetooth Keyboard would work with my Windows machine, I went ahead and ordered one.
However, although the bluetooth software recognises the keyboard it asks for a security code, that I can't find, plus, none of the keys seem to work.
Anyone know the answer?

I thought this might be a difficult question to ask here. I primarily use Macs, which in part is why I chose Apple's bluetooth keyboard, as I figured I could use it with my Powerbook aswell.
As this keyboard is obviously incompatible with my Windows box, I wonder how you get on with an Intel Mac running OSX and XP Pro. Do you need two keyboards......hmmmm.

I realize you are asking specifically about 'defaults', but as they concede in 'man defaults', it may not be the best tool for editing properties in "complex" structures, such as those buried in dicts within arrays, etc.
As an alternative, it looks like in 10.5, '/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy' is now a part of the standard install - 'PlistBuddy' may be more useful for this sort of task.

How can I use the same apple id on 2 iphones yet have the owner contact different?

My husband and I both share apps, contacts, calendars, etc and use same apple id...We both own iPhone 5's. When we each set up our iphones, on setting in siri setting and mail, contacts, calendars setting we each put contact for our info... Well the problem is that if I change mine to my info it changes it to his, and same if he changes it to his name on his iphone it changes 'my info' on my iPhone's setting.... so when using siri or mail... we cant identify each phone.... So can we still use same apple id and have separate "my info" settings.....

Short term solution, do this on both devices
Settings > iCloud > Shut off anything you don't want shared
Long term solution (actual solution)
You need seperate Apple IDs for iCloud. iTunes and iCloud are not the same.
Create a new Apple ID > https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
On one of the devices go Settings > iCloud > Delete Account > Sign in with the new Apple ID
This will seperate your Contacts, Calendars, Messages etc.
You both can continue to use the same Apple ID for iTunes and share apps and music

Hi there,
it depends on what you mean by adding a new view object. You[b] don't have to create a new viewobject. You do have to add a second instance of your existing view object to your page.
Form scratch works more or less like this. Drop your view object as ADF table on the form. Add the find and execute operations. Drop the same view object on your form but now as ADF search form. Place the fields form the search form in the corresponding columns next to the existing fields. For each #{row} field ,and the find button, set the rendered property
#{bindings.testUserIterator.findMode ==false}. For each inputfield, and the execute, set the rendered property #{bindings.testUserIterator.findMode ==true}.
Now it will work.

With Applescript Editor crate an application with the following script:
