The middle button on my ipod touch stopped working, how can I fix it?

After updating to OS 10.7.4 My Digital Optical Out Has Stopped Working
I use a Toslink connection and iTunes to listen to music files through two different audio systems. After the latest OS update the digital optical connection has ceased to work. I've tried it with another computer running an older OS and it works fine, no issues on either audio system.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to resolve it? I've spent 2 days with Apple Senior Tech Support and it's still not working.The first level of tech support checked that I had the current updated OS, did several reset procedures, then connected me with Senior Tech Support. They checked what first level support did, then had me remove the com.apple.audio.DeviceSettings.plis and com.apple.audio.SystemSettings.plist files from the Audio folder in my user library and restart. That didn't work, and I had to leave for an appointment. I was given a case number and called back today.
Today we went over everything that was previously done and talked about reinstalling the OS, however decided that would not work because it would just be the same version of the OS that caused the issue. It was suggested that it was a driver issue and I contact the manufacturer of my DAC to see if there is a driver update. Here is the response:

no special needs. Stay on Apple and watch the forums for assistance.

After update to iOS 7, front camera and microphone in Camera Apps stopped working on my iPhone 4S
Hello, I have a problem with my iPhone 4S. I am no longer under warranty.. I am pretty sure this happened after iOS 7 update, both of the problems, so I think this is software issue. First I noticed that after switching to front camera, app freezes. And after some time, I found out that when I capture video, there´s just some constatnt noise in background, however microphone works fine in calls, skype or just when i record sound.
I tried restart, delete settings and stuff like that. Is there anything I cant try to do? Thanks and I hope some future update will fix this..One last try might be connecting in DFU mode, explained in this thread by Wjosten, and set it up as new device after that.
If this fails as well, you'll have to visit an Apple Store next to your place to get it checked or contact Apple support to get it serviced.

After updating itunes to 10.5.2 i get an "itunes has stopped working" message and itunes closes.
When i am not connected to the internet it works so I'm thinking it has something to do with the Itunes store. I have tried unistalling and re-installing Itunes and it still does not work. Someone please help me I haven't used Itunes in 2 days.

Problems after updating from Mavericks to Yosemite.
Hello everyone.I have noticed some battery problems after updating from Mavericks to Yosemite like no charging at all (but the orange led was on )and not able to fully charged.I solve them with SMC reset and PRAM reset.Furthermore, battery discharges faster than before and its really annoying.Now I have notice that the upper right corner of my mac is getting hot.I'll appreciate any help
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
4. Reinstall Yosemite: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.
5. Reinstall Yosemite from Scratch:
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.

Problem after update software 5700xm
I'm facing some problem after updating my 5700xm from v3.27 to v 03.83.1 22-06-07.
1. when opening the music player when the open progress is appear it came out so long untill i have to switch it off and on it again then when i open the music player it goes OK.
2. Refreshing music library, when i try to update/refresh to find new music after recived bluetooth it takes to long to find like 1hr and at the end i have to stop it. Also no new music found i'v done it many times.
3. After all the problem came out, i thought that maybe it will solve if i just try restore the phone to default factory setting, so i back up phone memory to mmc and then press *£7370£, so it restart and appear installing it took long time to install and at the end came out masage "some application are unable to install....." then i try to restore the phone memory, but it like the restore can't function well or maybe don't restore at all b'cos all my application that I install erlyer not fuction, all my contac are lost so do massege....
So do any body got the same prob as i am...????
Can I down grade to the erlyer version????

To update your Nokia 2700, DON'T USE "nokia software update" directly.
You'll have to install NOKIA OVI SUITE, then sign in with your account ou register.
Afterwards update your 2700 via the update option of OVI SUITE.

Hi, i have a very big problem after update tp 10.5.5 in my macbook air.
i do the update with coolbook active.... and when restart... the system dont pass over 800mhz at 50ºC and all the system go very slow.
i tried to active again coolbook, restart, but coolbook dont work....
so now i have that problem.... my 1,8 macbook air dont pass over 800 mhz...
what can i do??I'm not familiar with Coolbook, so can't really offer any help there but, have you tried disabling on removing Coolbook to see how your Air runs?
If the Air runs ok without Coolbook installed, there's your problem, if it still runs at a max of 800Mhz, contact Apple. -

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
