However when i try to update the message comes your iPod touch could not be activated because activation server is temporarily unavailable. - Try on another computer/network

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

How did you try to import those pics?
You import pics from iphone just as you would from any digital camera. They are not part of the sync process at all.
I am trying to figure out what exactly you did.
Bottom line is that the pics are gone unless you have a backup of your iphone on your computer from a time when the pics were on the iphone.
In the future you should be importing your pics to your computer regularly.

I have music in my iTunes library that won't transfer to my iPod. I restored the iPod, I get an message stating 29 things can't be copied because the computer isn't authorized. I deauthorized and reauthorized the computer but they still don't copy

I recently purchased some music. Then I realized that I hadn't heard some other music for a long time. I checked the iPod and the music isn't there. On my PC in the iTunes library it is there but it won't copy to the iPod. I went to my local Apple store and talked to a genius. No luck. He restored the iPod, we deauthorized my computer. When I got home I reauthorized the computer and again restored the iPod. 29 things can't be copied to the iPod because it says the computer isn't authorized. The computer is authorized.
At one time I purchased music through iTunes but used my AOL sign in, instead of my Apple ID. I think this is where the problem is.
Does anybody know how I can get my purchased music back on my iPod?

So for some time now I've got Pin Interest installed. But to this day I haven't accessed the app because it doesn't appear on my apps. Whenever I check the store for Pin Interest it always says I have the app installed. Did it magically disappear or does my phone have a bug, I haven't a clue. I've read other methods but they didn't work for me.
You can try cleaning the jack with a q tip, blowing into the jack and then pulling in and out the headphones (thi worked for my friend).

Ive also heard although it isn't the best, using an air compressor to clean out any gunk in the jack that can help aswell.
I'm utterly frusturated at this point. I'm just going to go to the Apple Store and see what they have to say. If of these at home remedies don't work i suggest you do to and brace yourself for repair costs.

- Try on another computer

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone.

I have downloaded and put the new version of Firefox in to my applications. But every time I open it on my mac, it says I am still runnung the old version. I have rebooted several times, but it still is not the new version I keep downloading.

When I open FIrefox, it asks me to upgrade to the new version. I download it, and move it to my applications file as directed. Then I restart, and it goes back to the old version. I have a macbook pro. What should I do to get the newer version to run?
