if my iphone is crushed(droped and ran over...) and will not read onto itunes/sync, is there anyway to access the data and back it? i really dont want to lose the progress in the apps that i play often....
i wasnt expecting to acompish it... just wondering if there was another method, and was trying to have a little hope but thank you

I have an external hard drive from my time capsule that stopped working on me. I am attempting to access the data with a hard drive reader on my MAC. I am able to see the drive in disk utility and under system info USB. But I am unable to access the data and it does not show on the desktop when connected.
Ok if disk utility was able to verify the drive I doubt there is any problem.. are you trying to open a TM backup??
You need to mount the sparsebundle then check the actual info inside the bundle.
Don't use disk warrior.. if the disk has verified then unless you deliberately deleted files there is nothing that is going to do.

But if you have copied info to the TC that is now gone.. and the disk is ok.. I am not sure.. the TC will not have deleted the files itself. -
I have an iPhone 4 thats i was trying to fix and now it will not turn on at all is there anyway that i can access my pictures and contacts from my new phone or pc? Aslo the are both on the same apple id but i dont know if that would help or not.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Pictures taken with the device are designed to regularly be copied off the device to a computer as would be done with any digital camera.
If you have failed to use the device as designed it may be too late to recovery anything.
Is the device regularly backed up to a computer via iTunes? If so, the most recent backup (when restored to a replacement iOS device) should contain all contacts and pictures as of when the backup was created. -
I "sent as gift" two songs to a friend. She can't find them. Are they sent to her in an email? Will they download during a sync? How can we recover the songs and get them to her iPhone?
Try going to iTunes Store from the left column, then Account, then Purchase History, then Manage Gifts.

Please don't tell me to retry, or re check my information because it is all correct, it basically says u cannot use thi account due to it being connected to another device... which is my old fault iphone, at the apple store.I have never before heard of cards being locked to a single device... but your case has shown me that it happens.
If I am getting it right you try to log in to your account and it asks for billing information, and when you enter your card details it tells you that the card cannot be used. Since downloading iOS 8 on my iPad 2 it has stopped working and will not connect to iTunes to do a restore. I have tried to do a reset using the sleep button and home key and all I get is a white band across the screen and then it boots into the main system but it is just a series of white lines going across the screen, how can I do a restore on this?

After trying to download ios 7, iPad will not charge, will not open and will not connect to itunes. Sometimes, screen will switch from Apple logo to low battery notification, but doesn't look as if battery is charging.
Connect with cable to computer. Your ipad is in recovery mode.

When I open iTunes, it will not allow me to preview or download TV shows. The preview and download options are gray and will not let me view them. I have tried installing the latest Quicktime but it tells me that I have to do software update and when I do, Quicktime does not appear to need an update. I have no idea what to do
Click on your preference and check the Parental tab for possible restrictions. Open iTunes, then click the iTunes menu, select preferences after the window opens click on the Parental icon, take a look at the content restrictions section.

You are playing them in the Videos app correct? Music Videos will play the video in the videos app, not in the Music app.

you need to install iTunes 10.
in order to install iTunes 10, you need to upgrade your Mac to OS X 10.5.

When I try to connect to the wifi it will not unlock. It will not even search for a network. I have reset the phone and reset the network. Any ideas.
I Can do that for home but not at friends and work places, nobody else has any problem joining it!! I'm wondering if restoring factory settings will solve it but don't really want to do that as its a hassle to reinstall everything for it to not solve the problem!!

Try a location with a Non Secure WiFi -> As these locataions "typically" do not have a IT Guy to go to for questions regarding [Other Security WiFi Blocks]

Then try the steps below [Even with the others listed above]
Just because you may be able to get to a Secure and Non Secure Website on safari on the iphone does not mean the WiFi connection is "Perfect or ok" and I am not saying it is not.
Also take into effect servers for iTunes updates/Apps etc could be overloaded at that time.
You can also try a simple Hard Reset [Hold down Sleep/Wake button and Home button at same time - Once see Apple Logo release both buttons - Allow iphone to reset]
If have already tried these and have not contacted AppleCare Support try that too.
