There is nothing to do because you need to plug it into a computer and connect to iTunes. If you don't have a computer then there is nothing you can do.

Doesn't sound like your restored from your backup, otherwise pics in your camera roll would've transfer over.

The backup files (IPD/BBB, depending on the version of the desktop software used) are of a proprietary format, intended solely for use in restoring to a BB. Natively, there is no other purpose, and they are not in "human readable" format.
But, there are 3rd party PC-based apps out there that can parse the file and translate it into human-readable format. A few seconds searching on Google and I'm sure you find one that does what you need...and for free, as far as I recall.
Before you ask...no, I can't recommend one over another. I've never had need to do what you need to do. But I know others who have had good luck with Magic Berry (I think it's called that).

I plugged in my phone to update to the latest software. After a while, I went back to the PC and it said there had been a problem and that I needed to restore the factory settings.
I am worried that I will lose all the photos and videos that I have on the phone. How do I get them off.
When I now plug the phone it the screen looks like when you first get it - i.e. itunes logo and asking me to plug in.If the device has been used as designed, the pics and via taken with the device would have regularly been copied off to a computer.
The first step in the update process via iTunes on the computer is a backup.
Restore the device from the most recent backup.
If data is lost, then it is merely the fault of the user for not backing up the device or saving their data regularly.
Once the device is in recovery mode, the ONLY option is to restore. -
My iphone some how got put in recovery mode, and i hadnt updated it yet and i keep trying to recover it, but it makes me update it first and amost to half way done it gets interrupted..is there any possible way to skip the update? i need my phone and i dont know what to do! Pleeease help me!

Hi, I've setup my new mini ipad today, restored a backup from icloud and all is fine. However, when I try to download my music, they almost completely download then an error message pops up saying "unable to download songs" - can anyone help please?
So it appears iCloud/iTunes Match isn't the issue - the error message would seem to be complaining about where the music is being downloaded to. So with this in mind:
In iTunes select Preferences and select Advanced. The iTunes media folder should be set to /Users/<your account>/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music. <your account> would be whatever your user account is. If you see something else there I'd guessing it is a folder you don't have permission to write to. -
