Your comment "a zip" made me attempt to open it with winrar, and I found a manifest.fm file inside!
So far I was editing the one at the "source" of my project and rebuilding it with netbeans.

Thanks, varjak, it is too easy to fall into use of jargon assuming everyone understands what it means.
One additional point in all of this, not all "iDevice" apps run on every "iDevice". Some are customized for a specific device, or class of devices such as the iPod/iPhone with their smaller screen. Others for just the iPads for their larger screens. So the user needs to be sure they are getting an app that will work on their specific device.
And to Phoneboone, you do need to purchase the app again if it is for a different class of equipment. When you are looking at apps such as iWorks for the Mac and iWorks components for the iPad, the iPad versions are very inexpensive. Pages is only $10 (US) which is really cheap for such a good word processor that reads and saves in the MS Word format.
Anyway, search for what you need and just enjoy the convenience of so many options for apps. -

Yo Chris. I've been following your answers to different threads and quite frankly, you're very keen in answering everybody regarding this stupidity that Apple has brought upon its customers. Kudos to you. But the problem is, most of the time, in some devices, your solution doesn't work because the NONE option is not there. The same goes for me.
Meanwhile, I found a temporary workaround for the iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4th Gen.
Register a free Apple ID from the iCloud Settings.
Go to Settings>iCloud>Account>Tap Payment Information on the Storage Plan Category.
Fill in the other boxes and choose "None" on Credit Card Information.
That's it! Hope I helped those who still couldn't find the "None" Option.
Must be running IOS 5.0.1 though, else there would be no iCloud. -
I hear a lot of disk I/O from my iMac 1TB drive. How can I see apps may be running in background? Time Machine is not running.
If you wnat to see the applications that are running, open the Activity Monitor application (it's in /Applications/Utilities). After opening it, select "All Processes" above "Show" in the toolbar, and you will see all the processes that are running.
I/O errors often happen on a damaged hard drive. If you are receiving that error, you should make a backup with Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner as soon as possible and take your Mac to an Apple Store or reseller to get another hard disk.
If the warranty is void, you can try installing it yourself, but note that there are some iMacs which are very difficult to have the hard drive replaced. Search the steps in iFixit > http://www.ifixit.com -

If your phone was previously hacked to unlock it, when you updated the hack was removed and it's re-locked to the original carrier. The phone will now activate and operate only with that original carrier.

How can I keep lion from generating .DS_Store files on windows network partitions, but not disable it for all network partitions? I am fimilar with changing the setting for all network partitions(defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores true), but that is undesirable when I connect my laptop to my home network. A preferable solution would be where I could control the writing of these files based on disk format (NTFS vs HFS+).
Go to MacUpdate or CNET Downloads and search for ds_store. There are numerous utilities for preventing them from being transferred to Windows systems.

I bought an audio book and downloaded it to my iphone...i dropped the phone in water and i have received a different iphone when i go to itunes it doesnt show my purchase. I have the receipt number in my email how do i retrieve it??
At the present time, audiobooks are a one-time download and cannot be redownloaded again for free. You can try contacting the iTunes store to see if they would grant you an exception: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

Unable to install Netgear XE102 on my iMac. Checked Netgear website and could not find a setup.exe file for Mac.
That means either no software needs to be installed on a Mac or the product is incompatible with Macs. Contact NetGear tech support for help.

~AmyOnly your bank can tell you why your login is being rejected. Apple doesn't have acces to their servers. Are you certain you have the correct login credentials?
If so, make sure Keychain isn't loading an old password by deleting the password entries for your bank from your login keychain in Keychain Access. -

How can i pull up my browsing history from a month ago?
I recently purchased a pair of Oakley sunglasses off of a website around September 12, 2011. The invoice never came through my email, and I have not received them yet! I can't remember the name of the site which is just awful. I tried doing the steps in the forums, but I have been unable to bring up my browser history. You probably have firefox set to only remember history for one day.

For some reason our client, using the latest Filr updates and patches, is unable to edit publisher docs through the Filr web interface. They can create and share via the windows client but when they open from the Web interface they cannot edit them.
