A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals. -
I'm trying to transfer iTunes from my old computer (under XP) to a new computer under (W/7). I've downloaded iTunes successfully, but when I try to play something from my library it says I must authorize my computer. How do I do that?

Congratulations on your new computer! It sounds like you need to authorize it with your Apple ID. Use these steps to authorize your new computer:
To authorize a computer, follow these steps:
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Authorize This Computer from the menu bar.
You may need to show the menu bar to see this option in Windows. In earlier versions of iTunes, you can access this option from the Advanced menu.
Enter your Apple ID and click Authorize.

time capsule first said the back up was delayed, now it won't connect to my home network. my internet is working fine and so is everything else but when i try to connect to the time capsule it says to check my server and ip address and if it continues to contact system administrator.. i didnt change anything, please help!

I have a disc of Creative Cloud 6. Acrobat Pro does not work. I have used the other programs and they are fine, but when I try to open Acrobat Pro nothing happens. I am using Microsoft System 7.
what's creative cloud 6? do you mean cs6?

The above question is too big to read, so this is what it says>>>>I finally got the new IPhoto 11 to download after problems with the installation; now when I open it, a message pops up that says to continue I need to prepare the old version for the new....so I downloaded the preparation download and it says it is installed, but when I go back to open IPhoto again after this installation, the same message keeps popping up! I cannot find any of my pictures either. What is going wrong and how can I continue with IPhoto and update and get my pictures again? You have to download and run the upgrader then launch iPhoto. Go to the utilities folder in Applications and launch the iPhoto upgrader. Then launch iPhoto and it will upgrade the library

I am running iTunes on an IBM compatible system running Windows XP with a relatively small hard disk (70gb). I have 4 kids with 4 IPOD Touches, multiple IPOD Nanos, etc. Their apps and album art are eating up the hard disk space. I changed the Media Folder through Edit, Prferences, Advances, iTunes Media Folder to an external hard disk. The new music downloads and purchases go there but the apps and other items do not. How do I get the apps and other iTunes software and downloads to go to the external hard disk
There is no built in function to make this happen.
Your options are:
Upgrade the existing hard drive.
Try creating a link for the app folder on the external drive... this may or may not work.
Realistically, a larger hard drive is a better solution, then use the external drive for keeping a backup of the ENTIRE iTunes folder and any other personal data on the system. -
Songs not showing up under album and artist after cd download only as artist.
Downloaded music from cds show up on ipad and iphone under songs but not in albums or artist.
Open iTunes on your computer and right click one of the problem songs and click "Get Info." Then make sure your song is not part of a "Compilation." (There should be a check box for that) Unchecking the box should fix the problem with showing under "Artist."

It says Authorize is successful but when I try to play the song again it ..
... it says I need to authorize again. When I do it each time it says I've used 3 or my 5 but then I say OK and try to play the song again and it brings up the name/password box, and I go around and around. I've deauthorized the computer, and authorized it again but no change: says 3 out of 5 again. Some songs play, some don't.
HELP! (please!)That suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -

Where have you downloaded them, on your computer or on a device (e.g. iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) ? If on a device then where are you trying to play them - they should be in the Videos app, the iTunes app is just the iTunes store on an iOS device and only contain the store's preview.

Has anyone found the solution to this problem?
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

My iphone 4s will no longer sync music from my music library on my Macbook Pro. I also have a bunch of songs that now have a red circle with a box in it next to the song on my phone and those songs will not play. They are present in my itunes library and I can play them on my Mac but they will not play on my iphone. I have tried unchecking all the music and applying those changes and syncing and it does nothing. All the same music remains on my phone, unchanged. Help! What do I do? I have read to uninstall iTunes and reinstall it but will I lose all my music?

I pay to get music from Kazaa which uses a WMA format, when I try to add it to my Itunes it says that the songs is from a WMA format and Itunes uses AAC format, how can I get this music to my Itunes to put on my I-pod/

My iPhone 4S has decide to stop playing any of my music. All my songs are there, but when I click to play, it just scrolls through a bunch of songs and then reverts back to the play list. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this? Thanks.
I am having the same issue. And today, I noticed that when I was talking on the phone, the volume went down low. I had to reboot the phone, so that the volume was up again. Mostly, though, it's my music that I am having issues with.
Same issue as listed above. iPhone 4S. IOS6.
