Only if you made a backup of the old iPhone which includes the photos you had stored in Camera Roll (if the photo you want to restore is there) or if the photo was stored in Photo Stream. In both of the cases, you will be able to get back the photo, but note that Photo Stream deletes photos 30 days after adding them

You were already provided the answer. If you do not have a backup of the phone while the photos were on the phone, they are gone. When you restore your phone from an old backup, anything that has been saved to the phone since that backup is deleted. Sorry.

Then I looked at them on my iphone and I could see the notes but they quickly updated to blank with a time of the last edit the same time I tried opening them on my computer.

Setting up iCloud with the same account data and switching on Photostream should do the trick:
I see different photos in My Photo Stream on each of my devices.
Your device will keep up to 1000 photos, even if they are older than 30 days. Photos older than 30 days are removed from the iCloud server, so all devices may not have the same photos, depending on when you enabled My Photo Stream.
If you prefer to have only the most current photos in My Photo Stream on each of your devices, and delete the older photos:
If there are any photos in My Photo Stream that you want to keep, save them to your Camera Roll, then back up your Camera Roll and other data using iCloud or iTunes.
Turn My Photo Stream off in Settings > iCloud > Photos (on a device using iOS 6, go to Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream). Confirm that you wish to Delete Photos.
Turn My Photo Stream back on. iCloud will automatically push your stored photos to your device.
Repeat these steps for each device.

Your problem is that she used your icloud ID to connect to icloud and thus had all your data synced to her device. Contacts are not saved in a backup to icloud, since they are stored independently in the Contacts section of icloud. If someone deletes them, they are gone. If you had them on the PC would they be available in some backup you frequently make of the PC?

Had an iPhone 4, lost it, bought a 4s, got stolen. Now I bought another iPhone 4, tried to sync it with itunes, I only get the data up to the last day I used the old iphone 4, all data, texts, photos, calendar during the use of the 4s no longer shows on my phone when I sync it with itunes
When you say that it recognizes both phones are you sure you aren't just seeing both backups? iCloud should back up your new phone if you have iCloud Backup turned to On in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup. But you may still have the old backup stored in your account as well when you check in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage on the Backups list. If you no longer need the backup of your old phone, tap it and then tap Delete Backup.

I have 3 iPhones, one iPad and 2 PC's, all using the same iTunes account. I want to be able to have each iPhone keep their own list of accounts and music list and the I pad different as well. I want to 2 PC's music list to match. How do I do this?

If you resintall iTunes, it should fix the issue. The following document will go over how to remove iTunes fully and then reinstall. Depending on what version of Windows you're running you'll either follow the directions here:

i have plug my iphone on another computer and backed it up but was signed on with my friend apple ID so now all music, app etc which were on my iphone as been replace by his one how can i restore to its previous content knowing i cannot use the laptop anymore which is the one i used to backup mine with

I have an iphone 4 and i am at the end of a holiday. and today the iphone crashed...
it was appearing off rather than in screen lock and wouldn't start... plugged it in it looked like it was doing a hard restore with the apple logo there for ages. it then said i had 100% battery and that the time was 02:00 1st january and proceeded to ask me if i wanted to use location services and to plug it into itunes. it did appear however to have my old walpaper lock screen picture.... i am gutted and seriously hoping that i can retrieve the photos that were on it that i have taken the past week......as sadly they aren't backed up as i haven't made it to the computer yet. i have not yet restored the iphone via itunes and am hoping i can get the photos back somehow first..... please?!!! I'm not sure which operating system i am on. it is the latest one (apart from the last update a week ago)Did you back them up to iCloud or your computer? If not they are gone for as long as the phone is.

i've just change to iphone 6 from iphone 4s for few months. Recently i'm trying to restore my photo from i cloud, but unfortunately i only found photo record in my iphone 6... i lose all of my previous photo from iphone 4s. Please helppppppp........A reset should clear this up, press and hold the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't resolve it, a restore as new will.
If neither resolves, you have a serious hardware issue.
Downgrading the iOS is not supported and may have damaged the device beyond repair. It may have also voided your warranty. -
why is everything still stored to my iphone aand not icloud even after deleting my phone? its still using up my phones storage and i just paid $20 for an extra 10 gb and its till not working

I lost my zoom with 5 and can't get it back on 4; How do I fix this.
Firefox did an automatic downgrade to 5 which is unusably bad. I have corrected this problem by changing the update options and rolling back to 4 but my web pages will no longer zoom either from the view menu or from the mouse wheel or from the control-plus key combination. I seems 5 did something horrible to my profile which has a whole lot of stuff I don't want to lose. Is there something I can change to regain the zoom function?
When I drag it down to the dock, none of the other dock icons move out of the way to let me add it (on the left side).
The Home icon represents a folder, and folders go to the right side of the Dock divider. Try dragging it there instead.
