The photo stream flower icon is not showing up on my icloud account. The only icons are Mail, contacts, calendar and iwrok. What can I do??
Basically Apple actually took away the Gallery capability we used to have with me.com when they replaced it with Photo Stream. So there is no way to see on the web, nor send a URL to friends to share the pictures like you used to be able to do with Gallery. To do that, you will need to push those photos to an external service such as Snapfish or Flickr or a social media site.

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you are curious about how iCloud stores your photos. Photo Stream stores your photos temporarily so that you can have time to sync them to your computer, but the photos will expire after 30 days:

I have 1000 photos in my photo stream on my ipad2 and I downloaded the control panel to my pc. I set up photo stream for auto download (push) and only 106 have pushed. I tried restarting the pc, signing out and back in of control panel, resetting my internet explorer and connect/reconnect network. Still, no new photos pushed. How can I possibly get all the photos off my ipad2? I have run out of icloud storage and it won't backup . . . Thank You for any assistance.

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device. -
HT201317 The photo stream on my PC laptop
The photo stream folder on my laptop has stopped, or in only intermittently updating. It also appears that older photos seem to have been deleted. I checked the folder size and it's 1GB. Is that the limit or is there some other problem? Help!
Photostream is not synching, but streaming service. It allows you to stream pictures to other devices including your pc. Once picture is streamed, your personal arrangements do not affect any device, but that one, and there is no follow ups sync.

TS4036 How do I get photo albums to upload to new phone, only the photo stream is crossing over?
I have an iphone that has over 3000 photos on it. I bought a new iphone and want to get the pictures from all my albulms on the old phone to this new phone. All my pictures were wiped out of my computer and cannot restore to new iphone. I am relying on icloud and itunes but have not been able to get them to upload all albums, just the photo stream. I do not want to lose all my pictures.
If you want to transfer all your data and settings from your old phone to your new one, follow this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109. If you only want to transfer photos, photos from the camera roll can be imported to your computer using usb: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. You can save your photo stream photos to your camera roll so they can also be imported this way by opening your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.
If you need to transfer photos in the photo library album, you'll have to use an app like PhotoSync. This will transfer photos from any album on your phone to your computer over wifi. With that many photos, it's probably the easiest way to go for all your photos. -

I'm sorry the Voice Mail indicator isn't working for you. I can only imagine how inconvenient it can be not to know you may have an important or urgent message. Do you both use the default Voice Mail feature, or a different Voice Mail app? (Or Visual Voice Mail?) If the default app, we can try removing the voice mail feature, and then re-adding it. If another app, you can remove it manually, and then try default VZW voice mail. You can also try placing phone(s) in Safe Mode to see if a 3rd party app could be causing the indicator not to appear.

Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears. -
Is there a way to delete the photos in Photo Stream on my mackbook pro notebook?
My phone became corrupted today and, after continuing to have problems with 2 new phones, the apple specialists determined that the only possible explanation was the presence of a corrupted photo or video in photo stream; and that the only way to use my phone without it shutting down was to deactivate the photo stream on it. It worked, but I would like to be able to have the option of using photostream again. The apple folks suggested that I delete all photos from photo stream on my computer; and then, when it is "empty", reactivate it on my phone? The message icon is not showing in the drop screen of my photos where it says do you want to email, message, assign, use as waller paper etc. it used to show before and now it's not there how can I get it back?
Did this back along to mine. Plug it into itunes on your pc (or Mac) and click on the ipod icon on the left hand side. When the device options come up on the main screen, click on restore. Follow the steps and it should restore to factory settings. If you had icloud activated on the ipod all previous purchases should be in the cloud and ready to download onto the ipod afte rit has been restored to factory settings, otherwise you'll have to download them all again. Hope it helped.

When I create a photo stream in ios6, everyone who is logged in to my iCloud account can see and edit my stream (on their iPhones only). Not just the email addressees that I sent the photo stream link to. Is that how photo stream security is meant to work? Is so it means my whole family can see any photo stream I set up. Hence no security? Can't share the pics with the wife then :(
The whole idea to an icloud account is that one user uses it and has all their devices synced together. Different users need different Apple IDs to create their own icloud accounts. Note that everyone can still use the same ID for an iTunes account (to share purchases).
