I think you have to turn off Private Browsing.
Tap "Private" on Safari Screen to disable Private Browsing. When top of screen is white, Private Browsing is off.

Single click on the Home button. Then double click on the Home button. In the recently used row, touch and hold the Contact app till they start to wiggle and then tap the minus sing by the contacts app.
Also make sure the Contact program on your computer is closed.

HT1229 How do you transfer photos to external backup and keep the photos in events with event name or with description name. Each time I have tried to transfer them they only transfer with a jpg number so you don't know what photos are what.

Each time I have tried to transfer them they only transfer with a jpg number so you don't know what photos are what. When you have several thousand photos it is difficult to determined what is what.
Why does iPhoto have the ability to put photos in events and to give them descriptions if it doesn't transfer this info with the photo. I want to back my photos up to an external drive.

The simplest way to achieve what you want is to back up the iPhoto Library. That will get everything.
You sem to be exporting from iPhoto to the Finder. The Finder does not have the same organisation capabilities as iPhoto. If you're going to do that you need to understand some of the differences between the two.
Event Name will become Folder Name.
'Description Name' I guess is the Title you give the Photo
Jpeg Number is the File Name assigned by your camera.
So: File -> Export
Set your Kind to Jpeg
Select your preferred Quality
Check the Boxes at 'Titles and Descriptions' and Location Information
Under FIlename select 'Use Title'
Click on Export. In the Next Window choose a New Folder as your export destination and then Name that as you prefer

If your problem occurred after updating your iPhone to iOS 7 and if you have Updated to iOS 7 directly from your iPhone then I would recommend you to take a backup of all your data on your computer and then Restore your iPhone to Factory settings from your Computer through iTunes. To restore your iPhone through iTunes once you connect your iPhone to your computer you should be able to see your ip hone in iTunes on your computer and then select your iPhone and you should see Update/Restore and Backup/Restore. You can first click on backup and let the backup complete (you can see the progress of the backup on top of your itunes screen) and after the backup is completed disconnect your iPhone from computer and then Turn Off your iPhone Completely, Once your iPhone is turned off Press and keep holding the Home button which is located at the bottom of your iPhone Screen and now without releasing the Home button connect your iPhone back to the Computer and you should see a Message on your Computer saying iTunes has detected iPhone in Recovery Mode ( you can release the Home button once you see this Message) Now you can click on Restore ( this will Restore your iPhone to Factory settings) let the Restore complete as this may take some time to complete which depends on your Internet speed and Computers performance. Once the Restore is completed your iPhone will restart and again get connected to itunes on your computer. And it should give you a page where it says Setup as New iPhone or Restore from backup, so you can select Restore from Backup and click continue ( your backup should get restored to your iPhone and your iPhone will restart. Once your iPhone restarts you should see a welcome screen on your iPhone and by following some basic steps you should be able to setup your iphone for first use. You can't delete an iCloud account, you can just choose to stop using it.
If you are signed into two accounts on your Mac, you can delete the secondary account by going to System Preferences>Internet Accounts, highlighting the account and clicking the "-" below it. You can sign out of your main account in System Preferences>iCloud. If you need to consolidate data from the two accounts, drag and drop the data within the various apps from the account you will no longer be using into the one you will be keeping before doing so.

Lots of possibilities:
The server is down (likely if it has worked up until now)
You did not enter the server name correctly in setting it up
You misspelled your login name
The passcode you entered is incorrect
The port you entered is not supported by the server
The server requires SSL and you did not enable it
The server does not support SSL and you DID enable it
The network you are using is blocking access to email servers

Firefox won't update. Won't connect to server.

Had CS4 on Power PC Mac (Non Intel) along with prior Photoshop versions. Now I have new iMac and trying to install CS6 but it won't accept my original serial number (Starts with PSW401, etc.).

I know what you are saying. I had purchased the CS5.5 upgrade, and a week later got the CS6 upgrade. I did this back in 2012. I had a old Mac Power PC which does not allow you to install CS5.5 or CS6 because it was not an intel processor. So even though I had the upgrades I never installed them. I waited until my old MAC died which it did this past weekend. And now that I have a new iMac I tried to install the new software. All of my past upgrades referenced my original Photoshop that was still resident on my old Mac. But since the install no longer has that reference because of the new computer, it will not accept any of my past serial numbers that it needs for the install.

Hey, Thanks a lot. It took quite a bit of time to resurrect this ipod. I tried the upgrade again, but still would not recognize my ipod. So I went to the next step and reset my ipod, wiping of all of the information like it was new. This helped my laptop see the ipod on itunes, but did not sync. So, I deleted the itunes off my computer completely, restarted and then reinstalled the newest itunes, and then restarted. Finally, it recognized my ipod and started to download each song. It took awhile as there was 602 songs, but finally it works. Yea!!! I never had any problem with my old nano, but this touch has been another animal for sure. Thank you again and also the community for information. This was a helpful forum and will recommend to others if they get stuck with their ipod or iphone. Take care, Karen

Open Mail>Preferences>Accounts, the first page has this on it
If you click on the server name in the box (gmail in your case I assume) it opens and reveals this:
