Old icloud account is filled with spam and hackers and stalkers.. got a new icloud account but won't let me replace the Primary one. Apparently, the only way to do so is by deactivating apple ID completely, Still able to open icloud email!!! ((((

i do have a new Apple id and email alias but I think the only way is to describe the entire original iCloud which I'm trying to also if that what it takes. Thank u for your wisdom. Much appreciated.

I plan to give my G4 to a relative and am unable to delete my .Mac IMAP email account from this machine. I have gone to the Mail preferences panel under Accounts. Pressing the minus key apparently deletes this account, but when I restart the computer the account is back listing all messages in my inbox.
I have found a folder with a name beginning with IMAP followed by some version of my name (I don't recall exactly where this folder was). I deleted this folder, but my account is back after a restart.
I still use this email account on another computer that I plan to keep. Can someone tell me what else I have to do to get this active email account off of the machine I plan to give away?

Not sure I understand what your problem is. Why don't you just wipe out the entire ~/Library/Mail folder and the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist preferences file?
Actually, I don't understand why don't you do an Erase and Install of Mac OS X. Why are you concerned about your mail account only, and not about the rest of your data?

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. My husband deleted the Outlook email account that was associated with my Apple ID as the primary email. I have two alternate emails also associated with the same Apple ID. How can I delete the old, Outlook email and use one of the alternates as a primary? If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

It sounds like you want to change your Apple ID. Follow the steps in this link to do so:
Before you change your Apple ID:
Sign out of all Apple features and services that you use with your current Apple ID.
Make sure that the email address you want to use for your Apple ID meets these conditions:
The email address is one that you use regularly, because it will be the primary email address for your Apple ID.
The email address is not associated with any other Apple ID.
The email address is not an iCloud email address, which is already an Apple ID. iCloud email addresses end with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com.
To change your Apple ID, follow these steps:
Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click "Manage your Apple ID", and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you are unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
In the "Apple ID and Primary Email Address section," click Edit.
Enter the email address you want to use, then click Save Changes. Apple will send a verification email to that address.

I have created a new & separate apple id and I want that on my phone but I can't figure out how to delete his email from my phone.

To change iCloud accounts you have to go to Settings>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with your other ID to create your new account. If you want to migrate a copy of the iCloud data to the new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save Image. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out, choose Keep on My iPhone and provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload the data to your new account. Once you are on a separate account you can go to iCloud.com and delete your husband's data from your account (and he can do the same with yours).
Just be aware that the current @icloud.com email address cannot be moved to the new account, nor can the current my photo stream album (which is why you need to save any my photo stream photos you want to keep to your iPhone before signing out of the existing account).

OK that's what Ithought you were talking about.
You can't actually delete an old Apple ID. You just sign into the new ID to use that one. Your old ID must be popping up because you used it in the past to purchase content with it. You cannot transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another Apple ID. You have to continue to use the old ID if you want to update content that was used to purchase with that ID.
Did you sign into your new account in the settings and you can't stay signed in?

You can't delete either the account or the email address. If you are getting messages to it you don't want to see, go to http://icloud.com and to the Mail page: click on the cogwheel icon at bottom left and choose 'Rules'. Then set up a Rule to move all messages to your address to the Trash.

Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account
Also check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.

No one can give you that. Ask your manager to contact the previous owner of the device. They are the only one who can help you with this, either by providing the correct ID and password, or erasing the phone and removing it from their account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4515.
