HT201364 Trying to download a free version of OS X MAVERICKS. I AM RUNNING OSX 10.7.5 BUT NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD FOR MAVERICKS
I am running OS X Lion 10.7.5 and trying to download a free upgrade to OS X Mavericks. When I click on the download button nothing seems to happen. I realize it takes some time to download but I do not see the status of it slowly downloading. I shut my computer down and rebooted and tried again with no success. Running Lion 10.7.5 is my computer compatible to upgrade to Mavericks? Any suggestions?

The system (computer) requirements for Mavericks are posted on the web site. If your computer will handle it, you can update directly from OS X 10.7.

I have iTunes on my old PC with Vista and it works fine. Now I need the newest version for my new PC, but iTunes does not seem to have kept up with Windows development. Do I need to turn off Norton? But the download window disappears like lightning! I have searched the PC for the file, but it can't find it. Help please!

Sorry for the trouble. I do not think your Norton product will block you from downloading the iTunes version.

Sorry for my english, dutch is my language ....i have resolved the probleme by using the second way for downloading add ons for thunderbird (before i could do it in through thunderbird itself))
- go in firefox/google/add ons for thunderbird
- download the add on but do not open
- go in thunderbird/extra/add ons
- left of the searchbar "extra tools for add ons"/install add on through file
- find the file "downloads"/ choose the add on + install

Its a 5.3 GB file. It might takle a while to download.
When done, it may open automatically, but the file will be in your apps folder

supposedly you can download or play songs using the icloud download button, a cloud icon with a downward arrow inside. But nothing happens when I click or double click on it.
You have to have music in your iCloud account to do that...when you open the Music app on your iPad, for example, you can access all music from iCloud that you have already placed in the iCloud or associated with iCloud. That is not for downloading music you have not already purchased or downloaded.

I have downloaded the most recent version of Itunes on my pc running Vista 32 . When I click on the icon nothing happens. Same thing when I go to the program and click. I have removed the software and reloaded it twice and it continues not to work. Please advise how I may be able to solve this problem?
Restart computer, right mouse click iTunes icon and select "Run As Administrator"

I've downloaded Creative Cloud and the App for Photoshop and updated the app -- but there's no way to click on the application to use it! I seem to be missing something ... I don't know how to get into it to work on photos ...

Apple doesn't sell iWork that way anymore.
You have to get it from the Mac App Store if you want to purchase from Apple, or purchase a disk from a software retailler like Amazon. They're quite cheap online now.
If you do purchase an iWork '09 disk, you will need to trash the trial copy and any plist files it has generated before you install it.

Never had a problem like this before, I was always able to open a pdf or download a file from any site. I used Firefox exclusively to download my credit card statements, bills, etc. but I can no longer do this.

Have you looked at the [[Opening PDF files within Firefox]] Knowledge Base article? There is some good troubleshooting information in there. They also list 2 different PDF plugins. I'd try both just to be safe.

After following all of the instructions in the help site I get the ipod to the Disc Mode but nothing happens when I click on restore. Help, my wife thinks I'm sabotaging her ipod.
When you have a compatible Numbers file in icloud (from Numbers on a mac), then when you invoke Numbers on a device, that file immediately shows up in the main window that lists all documents in Numbers. (Same thing for Pages.)
I haven't used Numbers, only Pages, so I just made a test. Created a Numbers file on the mac and "move to" iCloud. On my iPhone, the file didn't show up - hmm. Then I remembered I had turned off wifi and in settings have 3G data for documents turned off. When I turned on wifi and went back to Numbers, the file appeared.
I suspect you need to import the Excel file into Numbers and then save it as a Numbers file to iCloud, using "move to".

The wi-fi in my iphone 4S is 'greyed out' and i am not able to switch it on. I have tried resetting the network settings but nothing happened. I can't even download the new iOS7 version as it requires WI-FI to do so. Please help.
I had same problem. I removed the back cover, and warmed wi-fi module by hairdryer of my wife). five days wi-fi works great. I do not know what will happen next.
