Hello, someone stole my sons IPhone today in his gym class. I have the "find my iphone app" on my phone BUT he is not a listed device. I went into his itunes account and downloaded the "find my iphone app" app under his account. When I try to log into "find my iphone" under his name on my device I get an error msg involving icloud......he is MUCH better at this stuff then I am BUT he is in school and now I need to figure out how to use the "find my iphone app". PLEASE HELP

It doesn't matter whick account you use to download the app.
You have to sign into the app (or iCloud.com from a web browser on your computer) with his Apple ID & password.
Find My iPhone will only work if it was enabled in the iCloud settings on the device and it was powered on with a connection to the internet

Thank you for your response, Chris. But I'm afraid I have to disagree. There are native 64 bit versions of iTunes available for OSX and Windows.
In a 64 Bit Windows environment native 64 Bit Applications install the DLL's in a directory called "Program Files" and a directory called "Program Files (x86)" (32 Bit applications only use the ladder).
iTunes 9 is consistent with this behavior - and it identified itself to the system as a 64 bit application (meaning it's process appears without a "*32" tag on it).

We purchased Lion OS in April and uploaded to our iMac and now want to upgrade out MacPro. We cannot figure out how to use the previous purchase (says you can use on 3 computers)....confused. How do we begin the process using our previous purchase?

We Purchased Lion OS in April and uploaded to our iMac. We are now ready to upgrade our MacPro, but can't seem to find out how to upgrade using the previous purchase (said we could use the Lion OS purchase on up to 3 devices). We have the receipt of purchase with the Order # and Purchase #, but I just can't figure out how to do the upgrade. Where do I go? What reference # do I enter?

Go back to the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Lion. It should show up in your Purchases list ready to download. If it doesn't, log out, log back in, and hold down Option key while clicking on Purchases.
A tip: Once the download is finished, dismiss the Installer. Go to your Applications folder and find it - copy it to another folder or hard drive to keep for emergency purposes. Then click on that installer and install (it is automatically removed/deleted after the installation is complete). That way you can avoid having to do another lengthy download.
And, yes, just to confirm: you can install Lion on as many Macs you own and control. However, the license is not transferable; if you ever sell the machine, you need to erase Lion and reinstall the original OS.
You don't go to iTunes - go to the Mac App Store (in your Applications folder). You do need 10.6.6 (or 10.6.8) to have the Mac app store.

You need to uninstall the trial applications and reinstall from the CC app.

I think it must be an IMAP account then, & in Mail>Preferences>Accounts>Advanced>Keep copies for Offline viewing:>Don't keep copies, then on the Server, or maybe it's just this one itself, but on the Server you have a setting to remove eMails after 30 days.
If it's a POP account we'd have to investigate that... but you didn't say so I'm guessing here.

I am now using v3.68 and tried updating to v7.01 but it does not seem to work. Went to control panel to remove all the old versions but Firefox was not listed there although Thunderbird is there. Please advise asap, thanks

I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong during the uninstall/reinstall process. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
In the Control Panel, Add/Remove programs, look for '''Mozilla Firefox'''. Make sure to save (do not delete) your personal settings when uninstalling.

Assistanttolindsey the Adobe Download Assistant will download the installation files for Adobe Acrobat Professional XI. By default they are saved to your download folder. You can begin the installation process from there.

You have to "activate" it with a computer having iTunes loaded. (Or have the apple store activate it for you)
You would connect the iPad to the computer's USB port with the supplied cable.
The itunes will walk you through the process with messages.
Then, you can explore and add music and apps with itunes or download them from the itunes store.
One way to get good training is to find someone with an iPhone or ipod touch and let them give you a few minutes of training.
Or take it to an apple store and ask for a quick demo.
You will catch on quick, fast and in a hurry.

You can't. The iTunes Store does not sell CDs. The music it sells comes as downloadable music files.
If that is what you want, just search in the Store for what you want, and then click Buy. Note that the Store will collect sales tax. The amount depends on where you live, but in most places, you cannot buy a $9.99 album for $10 since the sales tax will put you over.
