You can use an external drive with LR but I recommend only using it for
image file storage while keeping your catalog on your internal HD for
performance. If you moved files outside of LR (Finder or Explorer) you will
have to clue LR in on where they are now. Use the left-hand folder panel in
Library mode to navigate to the location on your external drive and use the
find photo option get LR to reconnect them. If you moved the catalog and
now LR can't find it you should get a window allowing you to select a new
one where you can navigate to the new location and select it. You can also
just start LR by clicking on the Lightroom 5 catalog.lrcat file to open it
and start LR. -

? k-lite codec pack?v3.25 (and im using media player classic that comes with this codec pack to watch videos, even mov.s, flv.s and dvds)
before?the?format,?i?had?been using?these?softwares?too (no more upper versions) and didnt have any problem. but after the format, when i try to watch my iron maiden dvd with media player classic: the video is normal but the sound screws up when i set EAX to something except of "No Effect"... (from Creative Surround Mixer program, that blue one)

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -

P.S: For the iphone 4S. is there any difference for the one from online shop or the actual store?iPhones purchased from the online Apple Store in Australia will be unlocked. To the best of my knowledge, unlocked iPhone are not available from the physical Apple Stores at this time, though you can call the Apple Store in Melbourne and inquire.
Note that the warranty on iPhones is not international, so if you purchase an iPhone in Australia and it needs service, you would have to ship the iPhone to someone in Australia to take or send to Apple for service and then ship it back to you.

In case you are facing issues uninstalling the app's then please try manual cleanup of Adobe from your machine by following the below mentioned steps:
1. Navigate to Applications and trash all Adobe app's and Adobe folder.
2. Navigate to Applications/Utilities/ and trash Adobe Application Manager,Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Installer folder.
3. Go to Library/Application Support and trash Adobe.
4.Go to ~/Library/Application Support and trash Adobe.
Try installing the CC app's and let us know if still the error persists.

Tried to copy a movie from my iTunes account to my iPhone and keep getting this message……. iTunes could not copy "L.A." to the iPhone "Michael's iPhone" because of a timeout occurred.
I completely understand what is happening. I know that you are connected to the Internet. I made the suggestion because I have seen it work in similar circumstances. The Apple iTunes servers can be a bit fussy about things and sometimes rebooting the router clears up this miscommunication between iTunes and your network.
Have you tried signing into your account and then try to sync again. Go to Store>View Account. You will have to enter your password. Then try to sync again. Or try signing out completely in Store>Sign out. Quit iTunes, sign in again and then try to sync again.
Sometimes refreshing settings will help clear up weird problems. -

The error window is titled 'Update failed" and I quoted the message in the window in my question. I don't know what software is trying to update or why this message appears. I contacted my ISP and they told me to contact Mozilla. Thanks for any help.
This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.

I have a CISCO6506-E, with Sup II with PFC and an 8-Port GBIC connected to a 4506 on GBIC.
I have tagged the vlan, configure the trunk but I cannot ping the 4506 from the 6506. The 6506-E is just a forwarding switch (L2). What coud be the problem. I have check the status, no vlan mismatch, trunk is good, CDP is good.Hi H,
I do not think there is an command like "set trunk negotiate disable" I think you might have given command "set trunk nonegotiate" and it should not create any problem as it just bring the trunk up without sending any DTP packet.
You cannot put negotiate on both sides and that is the probable reason trunk is going down. Negotiate keyword is just to let the switch know what is the encapsulation cofnigured on other side i.e isl or dot1q and it will work accordingly.
Can you please explain what have you configured as trunk mode on other side? I think we are lacking in some config if you just post the related config it will be of help.

Installing the newest update for mavericks. Has been installing for over an hour. Don't know what to do. How long should it take?
I went to Apple Chat and they lead me through a power down and start up with Recovery Disc Utility (Hold down Apple and R keys when powering up).
Then was instructed to run Disk Recovery and it showed HD was error free. Then a reboot started up fine to desktop and showed update to 10.9.2 had been installed. I am guessing the internet connection my have been interrupted during the install.
Apple Chat folks are awesome and a short wait too.
