I have an iPad 2 that just stopped working...no display...won't turn on...tried to sync to iTunes and couldn't because I need to put in my passcode. There is no display, so can't do this. Am dead in the water. Does anyone have ideas to solve this issue?
Try force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

How do I update or refresh the display adapter driver on my MacBook Pro? I have it connected to an Acer display monitor that just stopped working. Acer custoemr support told me I need to refresh the display driver. ANy suggestions on how I do this? Or what I need to download or update/ Thanks.

Restart your Mac.
Try the monitor on another computer, Mac or Windows, to see if it works at all. -

Have you tried restarting your iPad? Press and Hold the Power Button and Home Button for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple Logo on the screen, and then when you see that, you can release both buttons and wait for the iPad to finish booting up. Once it comes back up try your sound again

My laptop stopped working last night (won't turn back on). The touchpad stopped responding. I did a manual shutdown by holding down the power button until it turned off - it won't turn back on when I press the power button.

How can I fix the paste function that just stopped working
Paste function just stopped working. Tried restarting, but still doesn't work.
I had this problem as well. It also manifested itself as drag-n-drop not working in Mail. I checked the Console and saw a line about "CoreDragCreate error: -4960".
A Google search for that revealed some details about the "Pasteboard" server that handles this stuff possibly not running.
I restarted my machine and it worked correctly. You might verify in the Activity Monitor that you have "pbs" running. -
My charger just stopped working even though the light turns on
My charger just stopped working and I got my laptop less then two weeks ago, the green light turns on then turns orange and shows it is charging but the battery doesn't increase it decreases as if I never had the charger connected, what can I do? I have no insurance for my laptop.
As Csound1 sugessted bring it back and exchange it before the 14 day window expires. Take advantage of it.

Keyboard stopped working, now laptop doesn't turn on at all
Hi All, I've got a HP Pavillion something, I think it's a G6 although that might just ring a bell because of the song....
Anyway, this morning I was on my laptop, I did a facebook post with no issues, then tried to create a new folder in "my music" and noted that some of the keys on my keyboard were having no effect. Thinking my laptop may have felt overworked I just did a restart.... but when trying to enter my password I had no luck, the keyboard barely worked. I tried another restart, again no luck, and then one of those hard restarts, where you remove the battery and AC adapter etc.
Now my laptop doesn't switch on at all.... I've swapped the battery with my parent's laptop (we have the same one) and tried their AC adapter, but to no avail. My laptop is completely 100% dead.
I've had it since March last year, so I'm only just out of warranty (typical) but if this has happened already it's really not fit for purpose. Previous laptops from Dell and Samsung have given me a good 4 years of use before I've got to a point where they're no longer up to the job, but both I could still switch on and use for a good lenght of time after they were replaced.
I don't have any money to get it fixed, I am going back to University in a months time and deffo wont' have any money to get it fixed. I need a laptop for my coursework, and for my job which relies solely on the use of my laptop.
Does anyone have any ideas what I could try to see if it'll work again....short of bashing it up with a hammer (and then of course it'll never work again) I have no idea what to do.

Hias anyone had their iphone 4 completely die on them? Mine won't switch on, I have tried using the power key with the home key, tried connecting it via usb cable to itunes, tried new battery- nothing has worked. The phone is just 2 yrs old this month, and I haven't dropped it or anything. I have never had a phone break on me before in almost 20 yrs of having mobile phones- I've had to resort to using a 7 yr old Nokia, which I used to love but it's not the same as my iphone!!
If you have attempted the reset, which is holding the home button and sleep/wake button, was it still connected to the computer? Have you tried to do that when not connected. You stated it never came on, how long did you hold the buttons together? If you cannot get it to connect to iTunes then you would not be able to restore the device. You can see if you can put the device into Recovery Mode by following the instructions in this support document. If that does not work, then you are correct, make an appointment at the Apple Store. I need help. Just purchased an ipad with wifi service only. Is there anything that I can get that will allow me to access the internet. I keep getting network connections that have a lock which makes it unable to log on. Picking up numerous with sites with the lock. Help did I make a mistake in getting this ipad. If so, can I trade it in for one that is more network friendly.
If you expect to use a WiFi only iPad it needs a wireless network. It is customary to have your own versus using someone else's.
Nothing is more network friendly than an iPad.
You couldn't possibly have expected to sponge off a service someone else is paying for?
