I bought several songs from the the Itunes Store. All seemed to download, but one song will play only about half-way through, and then skips on to the next song. This happens on my laptop and my IPOD. What do i do?

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entries, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Try signing in and out of itunes on apple tv, do you have lastet OS?

Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

Spent hours trying everything suggested and finally this morning hit on a solution. iTunes must be run as an administrator. Even though you are logged into your PC as an administrator, using the iTunes shortcut does not make you an administrator in iTunes. I found this out by using the diagnostics in iTunes and reading through the results report.
I am using Windows 7, so I clicked the start button and right clicked on iTunes and selected "Run as an adimistrator". The first restore attempt got the 4013 error. I then did the DFU thing, hold power and home buttons for 10 seconds, release power and continue holding home for 10 more seconds.
iTunes gave me the restore message and I clicked it. I clicked the restore iPhone button and it started. The drivers loaded a couple of times. I got the apple logo with the progress bar and this time instead of disappearing, it started to fill in.
End result, a successful restore to factory settings and a happy 14 year old.

They downloaded into seperate files but when I double click the .exe file for the 7z it works fine, however with the other file i recieve a message that "The file archive part of adobe Photoshop 11 is missing. You need all parts in the same file to extract Adobe Photoshop 11. Please download all parts." It looks like the download should be fine, I never recieved an error and I've now downloaded it twice (it takes forever) and neither will work. I am running Windows 8 and I'm wondering if there might be a conflict somehow?

Thought i downloaded a movie on new ipad, but when i started to play it, about half way through it stopped . my time is up in a few hours. what can i do?

I am trying to download a TV episode and am continually getting an error 8008 message about half way through and the show then stops downloading

I am trying to download a TV episode and I am continally getting an error 8008 message and the download stops in the middle of the show. Can anyone tell me what 8008 is? and what can it do to fix it?

I am having this same issue. It is happening with ALL downloads now, including the software update for iPhone and several television episodes.
Note: I have already deleted the contents of the "downloads" sub-folder in the iTunes folder and temporarily de-activated virus protection.
Anyone have any ideas on how to combat this error=8008 "part of the file may be corrupted" message?

Was watching a video I downloaded earlier today, and it worked fine. Tried watching it now and it stops about half way through. Solutions to this issue?

This happened just today with the only two videos I downloaded from iTunes. They seemed to stop working after I synced my itouch, but I don't know how that would have caused the problem... Both videos will play about 2 minutes on the itouch, then stop.

In case you do not know, to redownload videos you have to contact iTunes.

I downloaded the audiobook Shiver, but the adio cuts out about half way through part 2?

Last night I downloaded the audiobook Shiver (by Maggie Stiefvater) on my iPod touch, but the audio cuts out about an hours into the second part. It just goes silent. Help?

I don't suppose you're using 10.5.0? Apparently, that version of iTunes has some issues with Audible audiobooks (at least). Its only with format 4, so if you get the hight quality files, or the lower quality, the book should still play fine.
There is a version 10.5.1, but be warned, it has several bad changes from the previous version. In that audiobooks are now treated like just big audio files. You can't select chapters & there's no bookmarking.
Plus, I think there was a 30 second quick reverse, that has gone away as well.
