I am working in photshop elements 13 organizer, album view, and would like to resequence (rearrange) the photos shown in the album but am unable to do so. My understanding is that you can click on the phots that you want to move and drag it to a new location within the same album. After i select the photo that I want to move and click on the photo, I get a cirlcle with a diagonal throught it and am unable to drag the photo to its new location. What am I doing wrong? I know this should be a simple thing to do. Thanks

In the Elements Organizer 13
The key to all this is to click on/select/highlight the Album that you have created in Local Albums.
Then make sure that the Sort By: (in the row below the highlighted "Media" header is set for Album Order.
You should see a number at the top left of each of thumbnails.
Then, click on the thumbnail that you want to move, hold down the click, and drag the thumbnail to the wanted new location
in the line up of thumbnails.
Often I had to press down hard on the drag.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
Also, in Edit Menu/Preferences/Keyword Tags and Albums/Enable Manual Sorting Options, I set all for manual.

My iPhone 4S is only playing part of a song and then stops, sometimes plays whole song but for the most part it just stops randomly
Now it's Wednesday (2 days since I originally posted) & my iPhone appears to have finally restored all my apps, but it still says it's restoring from iCloud backup. If all my apps are restored, what else could it be restoring? IS it actually restoring anything at this point, or is it still in 'glitch' mode??? I've tried turning it off & back on & it continues to say that it's restoring.

I am trying to get my computer to print on HPC310. It was working until 2 days ago and then stopped working. I uninstalled the HP software thinking I could just reinstall and it would help but I cannot now install that software from the disk. How do I go about getting the old software I had on the computer and how do I get my computer to print. It gives my messages that it cannot find the printer or printer unknown.
Your operating system, Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6), does not support AppleTalk. Instead, in Snow Leopard the HP 4000 series printers need to be set up to communicate via IP.
Go to System Preferences and open the Print & Fax item. Is your printer listed in that pane? -
Deleting duplicate iTunes purchases.
You can swipe your finger across the songs in list view and a red delete button should pop up. Tap the button to delete the songs from the iPad.

How can I change the delivery address from the USA to Switzerland?
Don't belive you can do that but try changing the Print Produces Store from the USA to Switzerland in iPhoto's Advanced preference pane and see if the order will go thru. However, I believe you'll need a credit card with a billing address in the same country as the delivery address. It's worth it a try.

In iTunes I would like to set it to bookmark where I am holding in a song on my iPOD. Let's say I want to play a song that I listen to yesterday and stopped playing it in the middle on my iPOD. Today, I want to listen, on my iPOD, to the same song and have it start playing where I left off yesterday.
Can someone please tell me what I have to do in iTUNES to have this feature on my iPOD?

DovidiTunes does not have provision for automatically storing one kind of media on a separate drive, so you have some basic decisions to make first. Do you want these movies to still appear in your iTunes library, or are you content with browsing filenames on a drive in Finder when you want to look for one? The second's the easiest thing because then you don't have to have an external drive permanently turned on and attached to your computer (wired or wireless). To do that you literelly only need to drag your movies folder to an archive drive and delete movies from iTunes. To watch them again you can add it back to iTunes while holding down the option key so the movie is used from its location on the external drive.
There's ways to move the movies to an external drive while keeping them in iTunes but the external drive iwll always have to be turned on and connected to the computer or you will see a bunch of broken link exclamation marks.
Realize what you are talking about is not "backup". Backup (which you should do) is putting a second or more copy of items on external drives for the day when your internal drive fails and everything on it is lost, inclduing all your home photos and perhaps things that have been pulled from the iTunes Store and can no longer be re-downloaded. -
Recently I was given a bunch of digital music on hard drive. One of the songs on the hard drive has a time of around 8 minutes and a file size of around 11 mb. The song plays perfectly fine if I preview it off of the hard drive. When the song is imported into iTunes the time drops to 8 seconds but the file remains the same size as before. I've tried to edit the stop time of the song to reflect what it should be but will not apply the changes that I've made. I've been able to edit the stop/start times of other songs from the same import. Any ideas as to how to deal with this?
I didn't have precisely this issue, but one similar. What fixed it (and I don't know why I tried it) was to have iTunes convert the song (from m4a to mp3 in my case), and iTunes corrected the time.

I downloaded an album recently, but I guess my internet was going in and out the whole time, and now 5 of the 14 songs will cut out after a few seconds. How can I re-download those few songs?

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer. -
Album uploaded to Itunes match, plays on computer but won't play on ipod, no cloud symbol next to songs. Press play on 1 track and it skips through the album without playing. I've tried deleting the album from PC and downloading again from match and even after syncing the album won't play on the ipod
iPod touch, iOS 6.1I've just connected the ipod to my computer and checked the music on the iPod. The album that I am having trouble with shows an exclamation symbol next to it. I've tried deleting the album from iTunes and re downloading it then syncing but it doesn't appear to affect the information shown the iPod. The album neither deletes nor updates.

Most all of my 1700 songs have been duplicated in iTunes. I have downloaded the instructions how to delete the duplicates but it says "sort by the date you added" and i have no column that says that. I am running windows xp.
Apple's official advice is here... HT2905 - How to find and remove duplicate items in your iTunes library. It is a manual process and the article fails to explain some of the potential pitfalls.
Use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicate Items to display duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. You need to manually select all but one of each group to remove. Sorting the list by Date Added may make it easier to select the appropriate tracks, however this works best when performed immediately after the dupes have been created. If you have multiple entries in iTunes connected to the same file on the hard drive then don't send to the recycle bin.
Use my DeDuper script if you're not sure, don't want to do it by hand, or want to preserve ratings, play counts and playlist membership. See this thread for background and please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping.

I have a song that skips on my main mac because its a downloaded copy. But on my other devices(iPad, Apple TV) it does not skip because its in the cloud. How do I put a downloaded song back into the cloud?

I downloaded an entire album off of itunes today. When i went to the library to listen to them, four of the ten songs only played to 45 seconds and then stopped completly. Where as the rest of the songs played fine. Is there anyway to fix it?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
