I downloaded two movies from itunes at the same time (both free digital copies from a dvd) and when they finished downloading... they disappeared. I've not been able to re-download them or find them.. anywhere. Any suggestions for tracking them down?
If you downloaded them on your computer's iTunes then they should have gone into the Movies part of your iTunes library, if on a device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then into the Videos app - they haven't appeared there ?
If you downloaded on your PC and they don't show in the Movies section then you could try searching for them by name (or part of their name) via windows explorer and see if that finds them. Or if you downloaded them on a device and they aren't in the Videos app then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them, and if not can you find them via the device's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) ? -
i recently downloaded two tracks from itunes and they will not play in my windows media center. i have never had this problem but the two tracks play on my PC just not in the windows media center and usually all my itunes music plays in there no problem??? any idea what to do? thanks

The files that I'm trying to burn come from eMusic, and they are formatted mp3. Recently, (after the iTunes update to 9.2.3?,) they would not drag and drop from iTunes into Toast. From several different discussions I've tried working around this by dragging to the desktop first then dragging and dropping to Toast, going to Toast from a programmer's homemade help window, " iToons," and today, after talking with Apple support, going directly to Toast from my eMusic folder. Alas, all recordings do not perform like they use to. Sometimes they play and sometimes not. There is one I managed, that is listenable, but sometimes I have to put it in my car stereo over and over again as it gets ejected with an error code, sometimes, finally it takes it... Some of the recordings on other disks I've burned are not clean - they have white-noise sounds creeping in... I use to have none of these problems. One time as I was listening to a CD that managed to play, and it just stopped playing... Is there an answer out there to get back to how it use to be? Thanks for you help. -
When I download a song from iTunes into my library, it often says it has downloaded, charges me for it, and on the song in my library shows the full playing time. However, when I play the song, at around halfway through it skips to the next song?
i'm just wondering:
a) why it does this
and b) how to stop it doing this, because it still charges me for the song :/If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

I rented two movies from iTunes using my iPad. They show us as purchased but will not run from there. I get a message saying I have 24hours to watch then it just goes back to iTunes. I looked in video app where they usually go and nothing is there. Any ideas for a fix are welcome?
ThanksYou did try tapping on one of them in that list in the iPod app! This has happened to me and I was able to start the movie from there. You could try restarting the iPad, go into the iPod app and try again.
Now I'm stumped unless it is a corrupt download. You did download right onto the iPad - correct? If you downloaded in iTunes, there is a Move tab or function that you have to select to transfer the movies to the iPad when you sync. They just don't sync over without selecting move. -

Help. I have been editing a project for two weeks and now it gets ghosts of ohter images from the project coming up in the wrong places. The thumbnail has the correct image but the image either does not display and its black or an old image or another one shows.
When I have problems like this I do two things. First I shut down and restart iMovie. Sometimes that rejuggles the date. But I am sure you have been doing that in such a long project.
The Second thing I do is delete iMovie preferences, which can get corrupted.

Books are allowed to be redownloaded. Try deleting the books in question and downloading them again.

I have converted my home dvd using Handbrake into iTunes. Now I don't know how to edit it. I try to drag it into imovie but it won't let me. It seems it is saved now as a mpeg4. Can anyone please help me?

You need QuickTime Pro (may be MPEG Streamclip can do it)
Find Your movie in iTunes library on Your hard disk
Open it in QuickTime
Export it out as StreamingDV .mov file

Why cant I transfer GoPro videos from itunes to my Ipad 4? Can anyone help?
Am trying to send videos shot at 1080p 30fps MP4, NTSC from my GoPro through itunes but itunes keeps telling me that my Ipad wont be able to play it back so it doesnt trasfer them. Though I know the iPad is capable of playing the video back! Whats happening? o.O
Btw am using the new itunes version!Just because the video is mp4 does not necessarily make it iPad compatible. To convert a video select the video in iTunes then choose File/Create New Version/Create iPad Version to see if it transfers.

You need to contact iTunes Customer Support.
I had the exact same problem and they gave me a full refund so I could download the movies again.
The cause is at Apple's end and you can't fix it from yours. -
I'm not able to see the closed captioning of the video with the iTunes U app. I'm already not able to load de iTunes U videos on the video app which does support closed captioning. Can someone help?

I have been getting the "unable to purchase" message on my home laptop, work laptop, and IPAD for at least two weeks now. When I get my password entered, I'm asked to choose three questions and answer them to insure my future security. As soon as I get that, I know I'm in trouble. I choose the 3 questions and answer them, only to be told "unable to purchase at this time". I've been working with someone over email, and it's become incredibly frustrating.
