I have set up an apple ID. but when I try to download an app from my iphone it just says that my account has not yet been used in the itunes store and wont let me go any further. can you help?

If you do not have regular access to high speed Internet access then I would recommend that you purchase and continue to use Creative Suite 6. Hello,
I just signed up for a 1 year CC membership (includes all apps that are part of the Creative Cloud). Can you please let me know how i can receive a DVD so that i can easily install all the applications? Numerous applications are extremely large in size and i am unable to download them due to my slow internet connection.
Can you also let me know on which day exactly Digital River will charge my credit card each month? i just upgraded my membership a couple of hours ago.

guys, so my mail app is acting up... it takes forever to receive a new message at times, even tho it pops up on my phone right away...also, when i delete it from the mail app, the email, it never shows deleted in my iPhone... so then i have to go in and delete it again on my iPhone... gmail works great but for some reason i'm having issues with hotmail..
i also tried deleting the account and then recreating it to no avail, i don't know... i just need it to start receiving messages faster cuz i have it set to automatically which should pop up and notify right away whenever i have a new email right? but my phone always gets it first and then it gets to the mail app like 5 minutes later... and of course, finally, when i delete that email on the mail app, why does it sync on gmail and show it deleted on my iPhone but not with my hotmail/outlook account..
and finally, why the heck after buying a new macbook do i only have the option to setup a phone call... wheres' the chat support? sometimes it shows and sometimes i can't find it for the life of me on here? what's up with that?This sounds like old fashioned mailbox locking - only one device can log in to the same POP3 mailbox at any time. If you are downloading mail on the iPhone, the iPad will have to wait for the phone to finish before it is allowed to access the mailbox, hence the error message.
Sit the devices side by side and try to check for mail on both at the same time, this might reproduce the problem. If it does, then you'll need to switch to using IMAP, which does not have this issue. -
Help with iPhone sync/mail app. crashing
Hey all, I've now spent the better of 3days on the forums and have tried several approaches. Here's the problem: During syncing all is fine until iTunes starts to sync my mail (.Mac), at which point it freezes and an error message appears stating: that "iTunes could not sync mail accounts to the iPhone because the iPhone canceled the sync". Furthermore, the Mail app on the phone keeps crashing. The screen appears and starts to load my emails and once complete the screen goes black and returns me to the home page. Now, I did try the trick of deleting the AppleMobileDeviceHelper.app and was able to successfully sync the mail, however, the app still crashes on my phone. And when I put the AppleMobileDeviceHelper.app back in the folder, and try to sync, of course it freezes during the backup of the mail syncing. Help, help, my girlfriend is sick of me and this phone, I'm a bit wigged out at this point.
Thanks in advance to any takers.You can do either/or. I would go with a backup since it has your contact info, email, etc. If you go from new, you will have to setup everything again.

I recently began using reminders in ical and downloaded the iPhone and iPad app. It works great. However, the reminders in ical on the COMPUTER is difficult to work with - thin long column on the right rather than in it's own screen. is there a reminders app for the COMPUTER that is more user friendly?

I have an apple ID, I'm trying to use this to update and download apps etc. however, whenever I try this, it keeps asking me to use my old ID, which is attached to an email that no longer exists! I can't download or update anything! Help!
You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com -

For voice memos, I have include voice memos when syncing selected under the Music tab for my iPhone sync preferences with iTunes which transfers voice memos from my iPhone to my iTunes library when syncing. -
my email address changed and now I cannot remove it from cloud on my iphone 5s in order to back my phone up and download apps now
If you are trying to change the iCloud ID on yoru phone from an old ID ("email address") to your current ID, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Can anyone help with Ibook previously downloaded on ipad now somehow sitting in icloud and unable to open on ipad . it is greyed out.

First you need to check that your current Mac meets the System Requirements for Snow Leopard...

I have a MacBook Air with OS X and am having trouble accessing the ADT Pulse Home Security System cameras. The mobile (iPhone and iPad) apps allow access no problem, but I can't get a picture on the MacBook. Have tried Safari and Firefox browsers. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
From a Catherine to Katherine -- Had the exact same problem!! I had to enable Java twice - both in Safari and then on the MacBookAir itself.

You can copy the app to your computer's iTunes library by connecting the phone to it and doing File > Devices > Transfer Purchases - an actual backup (either on your computer's iTunes or to the cloud) doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content and settings, for a restore to work the app needs to be either in your computer's iTunes library (for and iTunes backup/restore) or still in the store (for an iCloud backup/restore). Or you could just sync the app from your computer's iTunes (which will only install the app, not any previous content)

Usually if you press buy it then it will pop up a screen saying you have already purchased this item, would you like to download it again. You can also click on the purchased tab in the app store on your iPod provided you are using the same apple id that you use on your phone.
