Photos that were synced from a computer can only be deleted by connecting to a computer's iTunes and changing the sync selection on the device's Photos tab.
Is that the only album that was synced from that computer (and you now sync the iPad to a different computer ?), or do you have other albums from it that you want to keep on the iPad ? If you want to keep one or more albums on it then they will need to be on the computer that you sync to so that they can be selected on the Photos tab and re-copied to the iPad from that computer. If you want to remove all synced photos then try selecting and syncing just an empty folder

I am unable to update my apps or purchase apps in the App Store on my Ipod Touch. When I try to do this, it asks me to sign in with my password to an account that isn't mine (it belongs to a friend who has used my itunes before on my computer). I have tried going to settings--> store and signing out, but I seem to still be signed into my actual apple ID.

When you go to Settings>Store can you sign out and sign in with your ID?
That should work with purchasing new apps. It is likely that the other users purchased apps with his account. You have to log into the account that purchased apps to update them. If you have apps that need updating that were purchased from more than one account, you have to update the apps one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased with one account.

Thanks for your response. But it doesn't make sense. Mavericks wouldn't download, and although I decided that I wasn't ready for it yet (incompatibility issues), I would like to be ale to get it (OSX) in the future, and if it shows as 'purchased', I won't be able to 'start over' fresh.

Maybe this question has been found already, but I have yet to find the answer. How can I restore my bookmarks after it has been deleted from my 'bookmarkbackups' folder?

So it has been a couple months now since I last cleaned up my bookmarks toolbar. And I could remember a couple of bookmarks tabs I wish I did not delete. I found some articles saying I could try restoring previous versions of my bookmarks from the dates of recent system restore points. But the earliest date I found was of only last week's. I've checked everywhere in my Firefox profile for anything that I could restore to date back into that time, but they too only tracked back as early as last week. I believe the automatic backups Firefox had made during that time has now long been deleted from the system in order to make room for my most current ones. How am I going to be able to retrieve those bookmarks when their aren't any backups available now to restore from?

If you do not have backups of your bookmarks, either in the bookmarkbackups folder or saved elsewhere, then you can't restore your bookmarks.

i had to make a new apple ID so i could carry on using iTunes Store until iTunes support could sort out making sure i could re download my music and apps, now i cant use it at all and the ID i use is now playing up and now refusing to let me use either of my cards in the store!!! I suggest you to send an email to itune sstore support. They can review your account and find out why it had been disabled.

Are the mis-threaded messages from the same sender? Is it possible they have used "Reply" inappropriately?

HT204053 How can I remove an apple Id ( hotmail address)which is being used in the app store and iTunes but is actually a blocked account and use a current live account which is now set for mail etc ?

I have 2 apple iDs ( hotmail accounts) one of which was set up some time ago and not used for awhile in which time it has become blocked. This Id is set up in iTunes and the app store. It is linked to an old email address which is no longer used which means I can't retrieve a code to reactivate. What I want to do is remove this inactive hotmail account and use the other for all access with iTunes, app store, iCloud,mail etc. without losing all apps and credits. Can this be achieved ? My daughter needs the iPad at school and at the moment can't use iCloud and mail and I am scared to add more iTunes credit when there is a problem with this account... I am desperate and have tried everything I know, thanks

Welcome to the Apple community.
iTunes and iCloud and different accounts, you will need to delete both accounts from your device before adding the new details in their place.
For iCloud go to settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete button. You can then sign back in using your correct details. For iTunes go to settings >store, tap your account ID and then sign out, you can then sign back in using your correct Apple ID.
