It sounds as though you have a restriction set up.
To check go to Settings>General>Restrictions and then under "allow changes" make sure "accounts" is set to allow. This should enable you to select iCloud from the settings menu.

It appears that you are launching the old version, probably using an icon in your Dock. That icon is an alias & is not updated. You will need to go to your Applications folder & find the new Pages 5 icon & double-click it. Once it is launched, you can right-click on the icon & choose Options > keep in Dock from the contextual menu.

And just in case you were wondering, installing one purchased copy on all the Macs you own is specifically called out as allowed in the Mac OS X Lion license.
If you do not want to download multiple times, just copy the Applications -> Install Lion app to a safe place BEFORE you do the first install. Then copy that copy to any Mac you own where you want to install Lion.

iCloud was introduced with iOS 5, so you probably need to update your iPad - your current version is shown in Settings > General > About > Version
To update, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

iOS 8/8.1 does not have an iCloud Drive app (that works like OneDrive or Dropbox, etc..). Instead you have to open the application first (ie. Numbers) which will show you your iCloud drive files that you can open and work with.
This is the exact reason I am currently migrating all of my documents BACK to OneDrive. If I don't know what the filetype is of a file that I am looking to open (ie. Word document or PDF) then I'm screwed. At least with OneDrive (or DropBox, or Google Drive, etc.) I can browse my files from my mobile device.

You can't, without setting up a whole new iCloud account attached to another AppleID.

Your can't create an iCloud account on a PC. You have to create the account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Mac running OS X Lion or higher, if you have one. After creating the account on one of these devices you can sign into the account on your PC.

Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another device or computer.

Firstly, is your operating system up-to-date, your profile states that you have OS X 10.7, iCloud comes with OS X 10.7.2 or better.
To locate your iCloud settings, you need to go to your system preferences, which you will find in the Apple menu in the very top left corner of your Macs screen.

You can restore the iPod from the backup of the iPad and that will transfer all of the photos in the camera roll to the iPod, but it will also transfer all of the app files and device settings from the iPad to the iPod. This would be in effect using iCloud if you backup with iCloud.

You can also import the photos to your computer, place them into the photos folder that you sync from in iTunes and sync them to the iPod.

Can't change iCloud id on Ipad or iphone

I recently moved and my old email address was stopped and I created a new one. I changed the apple id on the apple web site and was able to log out on itunes on my Iphone and Ipad and change it there, but icloud won't let me change it. I am unable to change it back to my old email address on the apple web site as it no longer exists, so I can't verify it. How do I get it changed?

Delete the iCloud account from your device and then sign in again. When you delete the account, you do not delete the content in iCloud, but you delete the account from the device itself. When you sign back in again, use your changed email address and that should work.
Settings>iCloud>Delete account. You might want to restart your iPad and then sign into iCloud again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

My calendars won't sync over iCloud and email comes with a message "can't retrieve messages from icloud." When I go to settings to open up iCloud, the iCloud image is there but I cant click on it. Can I unlock iCloud on an iPad air if it is locked and I purchase it used? Or does it mean the device has been stolen?

i am am looking into purchasing a used iPad air. Problem however is the person states the iCloud is locked. Now can I unlock the iCloud or does it actually mean the device is probably stolen?

If the seller really owns the iPad, he could easily delete the iCloud account and deactivate Find My iPad.
