HT204368 is the MOTOROLA Roadster 2 Universal Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone compatible with the Iphone?

Is the MOTOROLA® Roadster 2 Universal Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone compatible with the Iphone?

Roadster 2 does NOT work well with the iPhone 5  s, has to be unlocked for Seri to work. An older Motorola blue tooth device the T 325 does work fine, speaker is not as great as the Roadster. It is cheaper and simpler. Verizon, who sold me the iPhone and Roadster does not seem to know this, I'll be returning the Roadster ASAP. This was the second unit Verizon sold me, the first only announced the number calling and could not access my contacts.

Hi, I'm currently browsing the web looking for a case that is compatible with the smart cover for the iPad 2. If anyone has any suggestions I would be glad to read all opinions! Thanks!

I love the Smart Cover. It fits the way I work and I love the instant on/off and the always available screen protection. I wouldn't use my iPad without it.
I got a Cover Buddy for the back, because I wanted the back to be less slippery when I'm using the iPad in the classroom, teaching. I picked this back cover because it's VERY lightweight, easy to get on or off and, protects the corners, has accurate cutouts for the ports, and (in the colors) has a rubberized surface:

I have a Built NY "hoody" slip on case with a hard internal shell that I use when I'm in the field and I can put the iPad with the Smart Cover and the Cover Buddy inside this . But for everyday use, the Smart Cover with the Cover Buddy is a terrific combination.

  • What is the earliest version of FCPS that will be compatible with the i-3 processor

What is the earliest version of FCPS that will be compatible with the i-3 processor? I am looking for a used version and doesn't matter which one.

FCP 5.1 was the first version compatible with Intel processor Macs.  After that came version 6 and the current version is 7.

  • I wish to know whether the new NVidia Quadro K2200 graphic card is compatible with the Mercury Playback Engine.  Thanks

Hi.  I wish to know whether the new NVidia Quadro K2200 and K4200 are compatible with the Mercury Playback Engine in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.  My old graphic card NVidia Quadro FX580 is not listed and not effective apparently because Mercury Playback Engine is effective as from 1Gb RAM. I use a HP workstation and AVCHD (AVCCAM) and DSLR full HD.  Thanks.

It is compatible, but why anyone would want such a weak and slow card at a premium price is beyond me. See Tweakers Page - What video card to use? and GeForce GTX980 vs Quadro k4200 (2200) #2.

  • I just upgraded to os 10.9.5. When I try to open iPhoto, I am told that the version I have(9.3), is not compatible with the os. But it came with it when I upgraded. What do I have to do to get an iPhoto that works with 10.9.5? TIA

I just upgraded to os 10.9.5 on my 15 " macbook pro from os 10.7.5. When I try to open iPhoto, I get the message that it is not compatible with the os. How can that be??? It came with the upgrade. It says the version of iPhoto is 9.3. How do I get an iPhoto that works with os 10.9.5? TIA

This screenshot shows which previous versions of iPhoto are compatible with Mavericks.  It also indicates which versions qualify for a free upgradeto iPhoto 9.5.1 and which require a purchase:
Note 1:  every day more users are reporting problems with iPhoto 8.1.2 so I've included it in the non compatible category.
Note 2:  If your previous version of iPhoto was iPhoto 7 (08) or earlier you'll need to download and run the iPhoto Library Upgrader 1.1 application on the library before opening it with iPhoto 9.5.1

  • Need bluetooth headset that is compatible with the iPhone and a blackberry

Alright I have a blackberry curve right now because Ive been waiting for 2.0 to come out.
Now that its here, I need a little bit more time to to gather up the funds to get the phone, but I need to get a bluetooth now for work.
I'd like get a bluetooth now that I can use on my blackberry temporarily and then use it on my iPhone instead of having to fork over money twice.
Now I really want to get the dock for the iphone and I think I have seen pictures of a dock for a phone AND bluetooth?
Am I correct that this exsists?
I've seen the apple bluetooths and they dont have a ring that goes around your ear like most and I'm worried that just sticking it in my ear is not solid enough.
Normal music earphone buds dont seem to fit comfortablly in my ear, so I'd rather having something hanging from my ear as opposed to stuffed in it.
So is there a bluetooth headset with an ear ring that will plug into an apple phone dock for charging?

Can you buy a universal hook to clip on the apple earbud?
Yes. I have heard good things about this product:

I mean is there any rumor about them coming out with a new apple dock for 2.0?
Not that we've heard, though I'd imagine that one will be coming eventually.
If they are, and there is a universal hook that will clip on their ear piece, I would prefer to stick with the apple gear.
Apple doesn't make one to my knowledge

  • Can anyone tell me why Apple does not sell a Bluetooth Headset that is compatible with the IPhone 6??  The Bluetooth 4.0 version that the 6 runs has been in place since 2010.

No Bluetooth headsets are compatible with IPhone 6 series-

I originally wrote this post to see if anyone else had come up with a solution to Apple's inability to engineer the Iphone 6 product line to be compliant with Bluetooth 4.0 that has been around for ONLY 5 years.  Since you want to talk about driving while talking let's look at your evidence.  1) When you consider that the Washington Post will not admit to the number of participants participating in the study they site makes the study in valid as you cannot tell if any conclusion is statistically valid.  The National Safety Council does not give what data it had or where it came from but is pure opinion- not factual. 2)  When you look at your second source from Forbes- did you realize that the person who wrote it is a CONTRIBUTOR with no scientific data to back his conlusions?  I happen to have be a licensed Insurance Agent for over 30 years.  The largest insurance companies (who pay the claims) have not been able to draw conclusions about talking and driving as the number of incidents per million miles (determines the rates charged for coverage) have not been statistically different enough to go to state insurance commissioners to ask for rate increases due to talking and driving at the same time.  The states that have enacted Hands Free Laws did so for 1 reason- if a person has 2 hands free to try to avoid an accident there is a higher probability that a driver will maintain control of their own vehicle vs. 1 hand.  Can we stick to the subject- Do you think that APPLE should have made the IPhone 6 Compatible with Bluetooth Headsets and why haven't they done so yet?

  • I have an iphone 3g and my itunes wont back it up anymore. after the sync it says "itunes could not back up the iphone because the file has been corrupt or is not compatible with the device." i already went to prefrences and deleted the old back up file.

nothing works. ive also tried to update my phone and it tells me it cant reach the server and to check my network settings or try again later =[ i dont know what to do and im furious!

I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days.  Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally.  The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder.  I have a Mac.  Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.
Fixed the problem.  Give it a try and good luck!

  • Is the latest version of firefox, 27.0.1 compatible with the latest version of Roboform

I am hesitant to install the latest version of firefox because when I updated previously it was not compatible with Roboform, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled the older version that I was using so that I could use Roboform. Has anything changed with the compatibility issue?

hello askin4me, an addon's compatibility always depends on the third-party developer adapting it to the latest firefox version. so you'd have to inquire roboform about that issue...

  • Is the corsair DDR3 16GB 1333 SO-D KIT compatible with the Mac Book pro 2010?

I'm upgrading my Mac book pro 2010 and was wandering if this ram works. I already tried the PNY 8gb ram, but snow leopard wouldn't install with it.

I'm pretty sure it can take 16GB fine, after all Apple has said up to this day that non-Retina Macs can't do so much RAM yet here we are, a whole bunch of happy 16GB users (hint: my Mac is carring the Corsair CMSA16GX3M2A1333C9 kit).
However, stedman is right. Your Mac uses 1066MHz RAM, the 1333 MHz RAM is for 2011 models.

  • What battery is compatible with the Panasonic PV-GS85 Camcorder?

The battery that it came with is now busted and won't hold a charge for more than a few minutes (It had a good few years in it though, of me dropping it and what not.)
So I'm shopping for a new battery. I found a battery on radioshack's website that says it's compatible with my camcorder, and it replaces the Panasonic CGR-DU06 battery, that I bought it with. But I don't know about it, and I would prefer to be able to just pick a battery up at best buy, or anywhere really, in order to have it by this Saturday.
I found lots of batteries on the best buy website that say they're compatible with different Panasonic camcorders, but they all say "including" so I assume it's not limited to just the camcorders listed in the description, but none of them actually list my particular camcorder. Here's some links to some of the ones that may be compatible, but I just don't know for sure.

    Hi xpollypocketx,
I truly apologize for the delay in my response to this, and I'm sure that you have gotten your new battery by now. If you are still in need of a replacement battery for this camcorder we don't actually sell the proprietary Panasonic battery, but we do sell two models that are compatible with this camcorder made by Lenmar. The Lenmar model LIZ304P and model LIZ305P are compatible with the Panasonic PV-GS85 camcorder. The basic difference between the two batteries is that model LIZ304P is a 1320mAh Lithium Ion battery pack, while model LIZ305P is a 2500mAh Lithium Ion battery; the more mAh's a battery has the longer it will hold a charge.

  • FYI!!! Not 1 FM modulator on the market is compatible with the iPhone!!!!

Well I just wasted my whole day and ****** off everyone in customer service (returning FM Mods) trying to find one that would work, and guess what... THERE IS NOT ONE OUT THERE THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE iPHONE. So I have 13 days to return my phone for a refund, so I’m giving Apple 12 days to fix this problem. Really, if Apple is going to have a $700 part time phone/part time iPod they can keep it. I'll gladly go back to my SLVRL7 and call it a day. How in the world (it’s 2007) do you not release a FM modulator compatible with the iPhone?? Don’t tell me they’re worried about losing money, this is a $700.00 phone, not everyone is going to stop buying iPods… I just don’t get it. It does bother me that I now have to buy a new FM Mod, but not even a 1/6th as much as it bothers me that Apple didn't release one, I mean they only had a couple of years to design one.
I at least hope this keeps someone from wasting their day.
Brands I’ve tried. (several versions of each)
    Monster
    Griffin
    Belkin
    Couple other generic brands

    1. Apple never released any of the iPods with FM receivers. 3rd party companies do.
    2. Apple posted their iPhone specs long before it was released. Did you bother to even read the spec page? I know you must have because no one would blindly spend "$700" on a product.
    3. All 3rd party FM tuners are made after the iPod was released (at least to be compatible with the current known generation.
    4. The iPhone was released a few days ago. Try giving 3rd party companies some time?

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5.  I have a Motorola HX550 Bluetooth Headset which worked flawlessly with the iPhone 4s.  However, since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I frequently lose audio when in the middle of a call.  I am not certain whether it is a full disconnect or just an audio loss.  The person on the other end reports still being able to hear me, however, I suppose they could hear me speaking over another source even if bluetooth disconnected. The loss of audio is always preceded by a quick shrill noise, so I can easily tell when it happens.  All I have to do to fix the problem is to select Audio Source on the call screen, temporarily switch audio back to the iPhone, and then switch back to the headset, and then it starts working again.
Is is important to note that I am not the only one experiencing this issue:
This is a link to someone using the Motorola H19txt headset experiencing the same issue
    https://forums.motorola.com/posts/94ac15ad7c
If you go to the Plantronics website and look at the "Ratings and Reviews" on the Voyager Legend you will see the same issue reported:
http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-legend (next paragraph is taken from the review since there is no direct link to the review.
Really nice Headset unless you own an Iphone 5. I own several Plantronics headsets and have always loved the quality/ performance. This headset seems not to be compatible with the new Iphone 5. In the middle of a conversation it will lose all incoming audio. This leaves you trying to switch audio sources really fast in order not to lose your phone call. Ive tried 3 legend headsets and they all do the same thing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because the headset is really nice
Since this issue appears to affect multiple headsets from multiple vendors, I think it is fair to conclude that it is an issue with the iPhone5 bluetooth itself.
I am posting this as a new discussion as I don't see any other posts specific to this iPhone 5 Bluetooth issue.  I would have reported this as a problem to Apple, but don't seem to be able to find a way to do this on the web.  Hopefully they are already aware, but if not, maybe they will see i here.

here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock.

(or Any other Bluetooth driver which is compatible with HP Pavilion DV6-6119tx to run on Windows 8 64 bit)

    Hi,
    Did you mean this version?
Ralink Motorola BC8 Bluetooth HS Adapter
    Version 3
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/compatibility/CompatCenter/ProductDetailsViewer?Type=Software&Name=Ralink+Motorola+BC8+Bluetooth+HS+Adapter&ModelOrVersion=3&Vendor=Motorola&Locale=1031%2C1033%2C1042%2C1043%2C1046%2C2057%2C3081%2C4105%2C16393&LastSearchTerm=Ralink%2BMotorola%2BBluetooth%2B%252bHS%2B%2BAdapter%2B&BreadcrumbPath=Ralink+Motorola+Bluetooth+%2BHS++Adapter+&TempOsid=Windows+8
According to this site, this version of Bluetooth adapter is compatible with Windows 8, so it's related to driver. Please try to remove the driver in device manager and restart the computer to reinstall to see what's going on.
Download this driver and install this in compatible mode:
