HT2292 I have a 3GS iphone.It was working alright with iTunes.Recently, it was unlocked. After it was unlocked, the iphone is functioning alright but it is not recognized by iTunes and iTunes stops working, when I connect iphone.Any advice please.
I have a 3GS iphone. It was jailbroken and working alright.But I was not able to upgrade its IOS frrom 4.0.1 to higher versions and many applicatopns were not compatible with this version of the IOS. So I decided to do a factory unlocking. From an website, based in Mumbai, I unlocked it. When I check now in different websites from my IMEI number, my iphone is unlocked. So I became happy that I can now upgrade my iphone. But the events turned to be different.When I connected to iTunes, iTunes stopped working and my iphone did not appear in the iTunes. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes after cleaning previous registry of all relatedd components like Quicktime, Bejour,Apple software updates and mobile softwares. I also used msconfig to troubleshoot conflicts in software of Windows 7 ultimate but still my iTunes is not working, when I connect the iphone. If I do not connect the iphone, iTunes is working alright. Can any friend give me some advice how to proceed. I do not like comments like Jailbreaking is illegal and should not have been done. Please advice me what should I do right now. Thanking you all and expecting some valuable suggestions from this expert community.

ITunes stops responding when I connect my iPod.
Background info: when I disconnected my iPod awhile ago, all of the music disappeared. I *did* safely remove it. However, while it was disconnecting, I somehow unlocked it (the hold button....do you know what I am talking about?), and then it said "Okay to disconnect" (or whatever that message is) so I disconnected it.
But then as I was unplugging it, it connected again or something. But it was too late. All of my music was gone.
Now whenever I plug it into the computer, iTunes does not function. I can see all the files on my iPod from when I was using it as an external backup drive, and can access those through finder. But nothing involving iTunes is functional.
Help, please?
Thanks in advanceAlso, iTunes works normally when my iPod is *not* connected. It is up to date. I don't know if my iPod is up to date though....

My first taste of this Apple is horrible! I cannot do the inital sync successfully. Its gets to the 4th stage of syncing where it is copying songs and tells me there are over 100 songs it cannot find. Why not? They show up in my Itunes media file so why can they not be found? Then the syncing ends with a message "Attempting to copy to the disc "Doug's Ipod" failed. An error occurred while reading from the device"

I downloaded a movie on my Ipod touch useing my Ipod touch and I guess I was rushing through the download prosess that it glitched up but I would like to fix it without reseting it. I can see the movie in my videos but it is not in my purchases and now I cant even view it it says I dont have permmision to access it and it wont let me delete it by sliding my finger accross it. Help
Movies are not one of the items you can reload via iClould like apps, music, and some other items. You can contact iTunes and request a redownload,. They may give you one.

- Simply turn your phone off and back on again
- Hold down your home button and your lock button and let goes as soon as the screen goes black (Phone will power down) - Then turn on your phone and hey presto!
- Back up your iPhone to your PC, then restore it..
this ones last cause I think you may have tried it already..
- Close all open applications

Hi, I have the iPhone 4, 32GB, version 4.3.5 (8L1) and for some reason when I connect it to the laptop, it starts synchronising but never goes beyond step 1. It goes on syncing forever, without actually doing anything. I have tried everything, wiped the phone numerous times, deleted all files from the laptop but still no resolution. As a result, the phone does not really synchronise.
This started somewhere in May 2011 when I upgraded what proved to be a problematic s/w version and the phone has not recovered since.
Now I cannot update the iPhone s/w any longer.
Any clue?You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I installed Snow Leopard and have the latest version of iTunes. However, when I connect my iPhone 4S, it charges and iPhoto opens, but iTunes doesn't seem to recognize the iPhone. It simply doesn't appear in the left column. What gives?

as mentioned in the subject. i was enjoying sending msgs using iMessage using 3G internet connection but since yesterday my iMessage stopped working and now its only working when i connect my iPhone to Wifi !!!

and this issue not only with me.. even with my freind. so please help to find a solutionI know why. It happened to me before. Try typing random stuff, eg aaasjddjfndirinfekdnkedindor , into the text box, then delete everything using the x-arrow on the keyboard. It should work now. If not, repeat the process again and again. It's because it needs to send the signal to the other recipient(without him really knowing it, this is to check that he can see when you are typing, you know, the "…" bubble), then check that you have 3G at good speed, then enables iMessage. It works for me this way...hope it does for you too (:

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. This will erase your device. Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your device was new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

Just updated to IOS 7 and two issues:
First when I connect my iPhone to my computer I get this error message:itunes was unable to provider data from sync services". I'm not sure what this really means...
The second issue is when I try to select "Manually Manage Music"
The iPhone "My iPhone" is synced with another iTunes libary on "MY-PC". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library? An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library."
So... I don't want to do that, but I do what to be able to Manage my music. I'm not sure what it means by being synced to another iTunes unless it means to an older version of itunes?
Anyone have any ideas?I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it.
