Hi, I got my iPad as a birthday present from my sister, and when setting up we used her apple ID as I did not have my own. Before I had made my own apple ID I purchased one free app under her name, there is now an update for this game however i am asked for her password, is there a way to repurchase this game under my name without losing game data?

Security, I got the security Q right but my birthday was wrong! They wanted the serial number from my phone that was 3 iPhones ago! Seriously??!!

An icloud account is designed to be used by just one user. If you have given your ID or set up your account on someone else's device, then their data will be mingled with your or worse.

Hello, I have to edit a form that was created by someone else. I made numerous changes to the text and repositioned a lot of the items, and it appeared fine on my computer. However, when I open it on my PC and other systems, the fonts are substituting and I'm getting strange characters where I changed the text. I tried embedding the fonts with the Preflight embed fonts, but it is still messed up. My client is anxious...not sure what else to check. Any help would be appreciated!

You don't need to re-do the fields. If you create a new version of the PDF
file just open the old one and use the Replace Pages command to insert the
pages from the new version over the old ones. This will give you a new
version of the file, with the existing form fields still in tact. Of
course, you might need to adjust their location and/or size, but at least
you won't have to start all over again...

I have a problem!! I bought an app on my ipad 2 before iCloud. later i bought an iphone 4s and synced all my previous apps (i had also an ipod touch) to my iphone. includying my paid apps.
however, yesterday i restored my iphone and when i tried to download all my apps back again, i didnt find the app that i had bought! i went into the store and it said i had to purchase it again.
i dont have my app files on my computer since i format it before.
how can i get back that app??
sometimes, whenever i download a new app, it doesnt automatically appear on my "purchased app" option on app store!

No. If you use it then the gift is redeemed to your account. When a gift is redeemed, it can't be gifted anymore.

I'm having trouble updating previously installed apps as they were installed using someone else's apple account. I have since changed the account settings to my own apple account, but anything that was put on before the changes can't be updated as it asks for the old apple I.D. and password.

It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

What settings do I need to change so that I can start a workflow for a list item created by another user?
I have a SharePoint 2013 workflow (let's call it LSR Status Workflow) that is associated with a list (called
LSR List). When a user creates an item in the LSR List, it automatically starts the
LSR Status Workflow. That is what I wanted, but sometimes I make changes to the workflow (via SharePoint designer) and then I would want to terminate the existing workflows that are running and restart them.
When I try to start a workflow for anyone other than a list item that I created, I get the following error:

Twitter is on updates under someone else's name

I never downloaded twitter or had any use for it. Software updates says I need to update witter and it's under someone elses name (?). Maybe I opened an email that installed twitter, but than where is Twitter on my MacBookPro?
I searched for twitter and found twitter icons that I deleted. There are no other listings for Twitter. I checked preferences in both the base and my own.

I couldn't get the control-click to work, but I found that if I opened a folder and picked "Customize Tool Bar" from "View" in the Finder, I was able to drag the question mark out of the toolbar and onto the desktop where it "poofed' and disappeared. Doing this removed the question mark from the toolbar in all my folders.

How can I find and change a mask that was created by someone else?

I need to adapt a design to a billboard; it was originally created by our parent company's marketing. The billboard company just informed me that I need to incorporate a bleed area and the document does not have that.
I think it's using a mask on the items that will need to bleed, so I need to find the masking box and expand it to meet the bleed. But since I did not create this document, I have no idea how to find it and it's difficult to reach Marketing.
Is there an easy way to find the mask, or make it visible?

If you find there are no clipping masks, you can also mask using the tranparency palette. UYou basiclaly have on lemtn whcih is your art, adn some art on top whcih serves as the mask, you slect both then use the make mask command form the transprency palette.
Do a CMD Y to better analiyze how this is constructed, as without a screenshot we can only make a best guess as to what is going on.

Ok, so last week on saturday my wife called and asked me why I facetimed her. Well I never facetimed her and didn't have an accidental call to her at all. I didn't think anything of it. Well later that day she called me again very upset saying there someone facetiming me from your number and it was someone elses picture on the other end. So we called sprint and they reser our network setting and said call apple support. Called apple support they said change all passwords and sign up for that duel security option. Well no one asked us to have her look in her phone and see if there's another number in her phone under my contact info. So I asked her to look and what do you know there's another number under my contact in my wife's phone. Now theres no way she accidentally added in a number to my contact. We know the face and name of the Asian Indian man who called us because sprint told us his name and we've seen his face because he facetimed and my wife saw his face. We don't known him at all. The weird part is that the number hes calling from is the same area code that we live in. So that makes it extra creepy. We figured he hacked in some how and was sitting somewhere in Asia.... I hope this all makes some since to someone who can tell us how my wife's iPhone 5s contact list was changed by a man who is phone stalking her???

It can't be tracked by serial number, if can only potentially be tracked via Find My iPad - if that has been disabled, as you say in your post, then you won't be able to try and locate it.
You've reported it to the police ? If your iTunes account info has been changed then you should contact Support in your country so that you can try and get it back : Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security
You should also change your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

App tells me it was bought under different account

I had to send phone back and after I installed one of programs back with iTunes now if I try to buy upgrade it tells me it was bought under different account. But that is not true!
