My first IPhone and first purchase attemt and I made a mistake, please let me know how to reverse the charges, I delete the app very soon after I discovered the mistake.

Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to remove your phone number from your post
Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) drop-down menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that app, click the arrow to the left of it, click the 'Report a Problem' button :
and then the 'Report a Problem' link on its line :
and select 'inadvertently purchased' as the problem and fill in the details (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.

    - You can only sync an iPod to one iTunes library/computer. You can however, manually manage music and videos among different libraries.
    Go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing>Sync your device manually and follow the instructions.

  • Apps that were deleted and now DO NOT appear on the iPad when you install them

    I am posting this because I didn't find it on a search and here is how I fixed it.  Also people shouldn't have to pay APPLE SUPPORT if Apple CAN'T fix the problem.
    Device: iPad 1
    Version: Current
    Scenerio:  Some apps were deleted as well as some magazine subscriptions in iBooks.  I went to the App Store and installed the apps again and what would happen is they appear on the screen with the loading/install bar, but then would disappear. When I would tried to sync the iPad I would see the apps on the iTunes screen, but they still don't appear on the iPad screen.  I tried restoring a back up and nothing happened.  No Restrictions were set.  I called Apple support and they couldn't fix it, on top of that they charged me $20 for tech support event though the problem was never fixed (thats ridiculous APPLE, especially the fact that you didn't fix my problem).
    ****prior to doing the RESET, figure out a way to MANUALLY back up all your Notes, Reminders, Contacts etc.  All music and photos are on the computer so thats saved.
    Fix:  I went to General Settings and select "Erased All Content and Settings".  This reset the iPad as if it were brand new.  I did the basic setup and was able to go to the App Store and see the "Purchased Apps".  I was able to RE-install them again without any problems.  I DID NOT RESTORE FROM A BACK UP.  I had emailed all my Notes and Reminders prior to doing this and manually keyed them all back in.

    If the apps will not sync to the iPad go to Settings>General>Restrictions and make sure that you did not restrict installing of apps.
    Go to your home screen on the iPad. Swipe to the right. Type in the name of one of the apps in the search field at the top and see if it appears in the search.

  • I accidentally moved the "contents" of the Preview app outside of it and now it's "incomplete"-what do I do?!

    I thought that maybe I didn't need the app, Preview, and so I moved the "contents" to the trash. Then I realized I couldn't delete the app anyways, so I moved the "contents" back to the applications page, but now I can't move them back into the app, Preview. How do I fix this?!

    At startup hold down the Command + Option/Alt + r keys and hold them down until you see a globe on the screen.
    You will need to login to your WiFi signal so have the password for that handy.
    Once that fully starts the computer you will have a screen like this.
    Select the second option, "Reinstall Mac OS X" and click the Continue button. It will ask you were to install to, select Macintosh HD and click continue or OK. OS X will be downloaded from the internet and when that finishes the installl will start.
    Don't worry all your files won't be touched. You are doing a reinstall over the top of the current install and that will just replaced system files.
    Once that is all done and the system restarts use Software Update to bring everything back up to date.

  • Got the latest Itunes (11, I think) and now it says that 'Itunes.itl isn't working because it's a newer version of Itunes' and when I go to my older Itunes, the F7, F8 and F9 buttons won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Okay, so I got the latest update and apparently it doesn't work. I had an icon on my desktop that wouldn't open because the 'newer Itunes' is apparently corrupt or something. Going into my applications, I found another Itunes icon and it opens up, but not the F7, F8 and F9 keys aren't working with it. I've already tried installing the latest version and that hasn't helped. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

  • When I downloaded a new version of Firefox the old version was never deleted, and now I can't tell which is the new and how to delete the old.?

    I have two Firefox versions on my laptop. One is 3.6.10 I believe and the other is some other version of 3.6. Why didn't it disappear when I downloaded one of your requests to update? Now I don't know how to delete the other one or even which one is the oldest?

    If you mean that you see both version listed in Control Panel > Add and Remove Programs then you most likely only have the version with the highest number installed. You posted with a Firefox 3.6.6 user agent. It can happen that the updater didn't remove or updated the registry keys properly and left the old keys.

    I installed on a computer I was going to buy. Now I've decided to return it and get a different model. I would still like to continue the 30day trial.

    I will go out on a limb and say "yes"... the trial is assigned to the machine, not your account  (that's how licensed version go).  If you have a trial and do not have a subscription that you paid for then your trial is not activated as far as I know, it is just enabled for the trial.

    Try going to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
