Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

Having just updated to the latest system 6.0 (10A403) Everytime when I connect my Iphone to my Mac and open iphoto with the phone connected, a warning window keeps popping up. Showing "Photos in the Camera Roll on "iPhone 4S" cannot be viewed or imported because the iPhone is locked with a passcode."
But it is not locked. The rest of the synch in iTunes seems to work fine but iPhoto says that there are no photos for importing, when thjere are many. Any assistance most appreciated. thanksReenable the password and then disable it. The message should no longer appear.

After downloading the 64-bit version of iTunes on my Windows 7 machine I get the "Congratulations, you've successfully installed iTunes" message. However, when I plug in my iPhone I get an error message that says, in part, "...the required software is not installed. Run the installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes". I've been at this for hours, carefully deleting all Apple software (Apple Mobile Support, Quicktime, etc. and before each attempt to install the 64-bit version from Apple ( no third parties). Same result each time!!! Any ideas????
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now? -

I bought a new iPhone 4 with iOS 6.1.3 installed. When I connected it to itunes for the first time to activate it iTunes asked me to enter the password for an account that the iPhone is locked to like if the device was used before what shall I do? PLease reply soonI can't do that because the device was purchased from United Arab Emirates and I got it as a gift in Syria but the problem is that there is not even a single apple store in Syria so is there another way to fix that, I googled it and was told to jailbreak the device whitch I did and than hacktivated it but the problem is the device doesn't connect to any network and only shows "no service" and the battery draining too fast so is there any other way to fix this issue

PLEASE HELP!! Last night my boyfriend asked me to sync his phone as he had purchased a new app and it was required to connect to iTunes to finish installing, so we did this, it took forever!! It also prompted us to upgrade to iOS5, which we did, the sync finished and he unplugged his phone and all of the contacts and apps from my iPhone have moved onto his phone and his apps have disappeared? Is there anyway at all to rectify this at all? I know that w had to restore the phone after upgrading to iOS5 but I am sure that I hit restore from partners phone and not from mine.iPhones can only be sync'd to ONE computer.
And as it was not running iOS5, it had to have been sync to a computer before he could use it.
So unless it was always backup up to your computer, it is all gone.
You can redownload apps you bought.
Sign into his account on the iphone, and go to appstore.
Go to Updates page,
you can click on purchased and see what you already bought, and can redownload.
In future you should only sync your iphone to one computer.
In iOS5 you can backup online to icloud.
But sadly the data that was on his phone may be gone now that you updated on your computer.
Out of interest, I have never had an app that needs to sync to a computer before it downloads or runs.

IOS 7 downloaded and crashed the iPhone
IOS 7 done on Iphone 4, wants to connect to iTunes which in turn wants to restore the phone to earlier IOS. What a nightmare won't restore and keeps crashing. Any ideas as its my daughters phone and she's not happy with me? Should have waited I guess!!!
You should try resetting the phone, then try to restore again.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I was going to update my software for the IPad and I connected it to Itunes it synced up and brought up the ipad but didn't have the name, serial number or anything else but a question mark. After being synced and trying to doa software update of about 15-20 mins it suddenly brought up a dialog box and said it couldn't update the ipad until it was restored. I then hit the restore button and after a couple of minutes it didn't do anything and it disconnected me from itunes and now the only thing on the screen is the apple. I can not get it to do anything. I have tried to sync to itunes but nothing. If you push the button on the screen and the top button at the same time it will shut down. Can somebody please help me????
I had the same problem. In the end I downloaded it manually. Here's the steps assuming you are on a Mac and have an iPad Air (Wifi). If not you can find other restore links here.
In the terminal (it kept failing to download in Safari):

i have bought 4 new songs on my ipod touch from the itunes app, then i tried to sync my iod to my laptop after updating itunes to the latest version. My ipod will now no longer sync, what should i do?
- Try moving the backup file to a safe location so iTunes has to create an entire new one.. It is locate here and you may have to have show hiddn files turned on.

Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

SQL 2012 connection not showing in SAP Lumira after downloading and installing the driver
Hello,
I am very new to SAP Lumira. I followed the steps in the videos to install the SQL 2012 JDBC drivers. I downloaded the drivers from Microsoft installed them in the %program files% folder as suggested by Microsoft.
I then followed the instructions for installing the drivers in SAP Lumira and the option to select SQL when Acquiring data is still grayed out.
Any help is appreciated.
I am running SAP Lumira version 1.21.0 build 49. This is the desktop version running on Windows 8.1.

SAP Lumira Desktop Personal Edition or SAP Lumira Desktop Standard Edition ?
If I remember correctly I got this option turned on only when I converted my personal edition to a standard edition by applying a key. I could install sql server 2012 JDBC driver by pointing to the correct Jar file in the %program files% folder. This was then available for me to select when adding a Data set. Regards AG -

It is a known problem on Windows 98, Windows and Windows 2000 if you are using Intel Pentium 4 processor with Sun JRE and Symantec JIT. I had the same problem with Windows 98. Oracle has a patch. Please see Note:131299.1 on metalink for details. -
I would like to delete an account and all the iPhone apps associated with that account off my mac.
A friend of mine bought an iPhone 4 back in Febuary 2011 (pre-iCloud). At the time of her purchase, she was without a computer, so I allowed her to back her iPhone up to my MBP.
Since iCloud, she has no need to use my MBP for backups, restores, etc. Plus she lives 40 miles away. Her apps are still on my MBP and I have been updating them when needed, however I no longer need to have her account OR apps on my MBP.
How can I be rid of all her info and apps from my iTunes. I do have access to her account, with permission.If by account you mean a user account then open Users & Groups preferences, select her account, click on the Delete [-] button. Choose the last option to fully remove the account. Do not check the box for Secure Erase.
