You can only put a passcode on your phone, not the Photos app.
There might be an app you can buy that allows for a password - try taking a look in the App Store

If you did not sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone before creating a new one, then you will need to sign back in with your previous Apple ID and then sign out. If you do not remember your password and do not have access to the email account, then you can reset your password by using the security questions.

The ability to password protect email accounts in the Mail app isn't currently possible (apart from going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and removing/adding the password) as the iPad is essentially a single user device. Using a browser is an alternative (and if your family have accounts with different providers you add bookmark shortcuts to your home screen), and you could also try providing feedback to Apple http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

Sorry but no, it's not unless there's a tag editor that can add the "Explicit" tag to your imported tracks in a way that the Parental Controls will recognize.
The best thing to do to keep your kids out of stuff you don't want them listening to is to create them their own user account(s) in Mac OS X. You can then set them up their own iTunes libraries with their own music. You can copy tracks out of your own library to theirs, via the Shared folder in the Users folder, and log into their Mac OS X account and drop them into iTunes for the kids to play.

I would like to sort the imported photos so that the pictures are in the same order as in Photoshop Elements on the PC. Previous to iPhone 4 the sorting was preserved. Now I seem to just have a 'pile' of pictures. Help!

If you publish to a server other than MobileMe you can password protect any directory - either by using Webshell or via the .htaccess. If you use the latter method, the data can be compiled using a generator....

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

How can I repair / refresh my photo albums?

I am using iTunes 12.0.1.26 on a Windows 7 64bit computer. I am using an iPhone 5 & an iPad Air both running the latest IOS 8.1
Since updating to the latest versions of IOS & iTunes my photo albums on both iPhone & iPad are a mess. Duplicated folders & photos in the wrong albums. When opening the duplicate folder & selecting all photos, the delete option is not there, so I can't even manually delete them.
I have deleted the iPod Photo Catche, re-synced the iPad, same problem.
I have deleted the iPod Photo Catche, re-synced the iPad, unselecting all of the picture folders. I was asked if I wanted to delete all photos, which I agreed to. Then re-synced the folders again, same problem.
I downloaded iExplorer & deleted "Photos.sqlite" from the iPad. Re-started the iPad & it rebuilt the folders & they are still mixed up!
Helllllllllllp.............. how can I rebuild/repair my albums without resorting to restoring everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem on the iPad Aircand iPhone 6 Plus. I really don't know what Apple's problem has been lately, but it's become a joke, between the Remote app and other things. The only thing I can tell you is that I deleted all the photos from my devices and then resynced them again. That solved it until yesterday's software update and then it came back. I'm reaching my end with Crapple.

If you don't want the file to open on your Mac without the password, then do not check, “Remember this password in my keychain,” in the password dialog. To delete photos from your device
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
