Game center will not recognize that I play any game center games. Also, my friends can interact with my game saves, but I cannot, because they do not appear in the "friends/neighbors" window when I play. What can I do to fix this?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

My IPhone 5 will not recognize that I have an Itunes Match account. When I try to turn the Itunes Match button on in settings I get a mesage saying I am not subscribed to ITunes Match. This does not happen with my Ipad. Any Ideas what to do?

I have just now tried the Reinstall via iTunes, about 20 into the download, the iTunes logo on the phone disappeared, and the Apple Logo appeared again,,, I waited until the iTunes stated that the download had finished, and the install was in progress,,,
Nothing happened, still the Apple Logo was visual on the screen, iTunes never recognised the phone which it was on my iTunes account previously,,,
Still just a bunch of lines, maybe 5 or 6 so small writing,, I personally can not read what it is telling me, someone said it reads, incorrect shutdown,,,????????

I have a Sony radio in my car. With IOS 4 on my IPhone I could use the docking plug to the usb input on the radio and stream ESPN radio or pandora to the radio. After upgrading to IOS 5 on the phone the Sony radio will not recognize the phone . Any thoughts.
I am reading on this site about the error I am getting and it wants me to change some files that I am not comfortable messing with. Mainly because it is like a foreign language. Will the store do this for me or tell me if it is neccessary?

Need help I have done the Windows Fixit, I have followed the complete unistall instructions, I have done the remove lowerfilters and upperfilter in Regedit and still by HP DVDWBD TS-LB23p will not recognize and or play a DVD, the drive will read a CD only.
Also when I view my drives through My Computer the drive is dispalying as a BD-ROM drive and not a CD/DVD drive.
I am having the same issue with my wifes I5 computer.

Have you done all your Windows updates?
Have you tried Using Automated Troubleshooting (Windows 7)
Have you ran the HP Support Assistant to aid with HP updates and help resolve issues.
You did mention that DVD drive is not recognized correctly by Device Manager. Would you try this please.
Delete the existing installed driver.
Scan for hardware changes. This should allow Window to install the default driver.
Here is a link to Troubleshooting Device Drivers (Windows 7, Vista) that may also be of aid.
If you are still having an issue you could do a restore back to when it was functioning.
Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7)
The last step would be to do a full recovery back to factory.
Performing an HP system recovery (Windows 7)
During the recovery you will have the option to backup your personal files to prevent data loss. Here is a link to Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows 7)

Solution center will not recognize J4680 in wifi
My J4680 will print a document in wifi so I know my computer and printer are communicating. I have reinstalled the software and I am still able to print. However, when I open HP Solution center to check ink level or scan an item it will not recognize the wifi printer. It will recognize it as if I have the USB connected. This defeats the purpose of having wifi options if I cannot communicate with the printer except to print. I cannot even run diagnositics like cleaning printer heads etc because HP Solution center will not communicate via wifi. Solutions?
That link is not working for me at the moment either @judomax , perhaps if you wait it out for a few hours or a day it will be back up and running. It is possible there are changes being made to the page. It would be nice it if said "under construction" or something of that sort, but in the meantime I guess we sit and wait.
I will keep you posted if the link is no longer valid and the Print and Scan Doctor link changes. I will keep an eye on it.

When I plug my ipod into my desk top my computer will not recognize the ipod in the usb port. I checked my usb port with one of my flash drives and it works fine. My ipod is in stuck in recovery mode, so has to be gone thru on itunes. Please help me
Yes, I think so... But what's odd here (to me) is that it actually matters what song the iPod was playing before being connected to that USB port. What happens if you connect the iPod when it is not playing any song? It seem like either the car audio system knows where to look for the iPod's song files, or it doesn't.
If you have a USB flash drive, try putting a few song files on it, and connecting it to that USB port. That's probably the primary reason for that USB port, so customer can attach USB flash drives with song files. If that works, and you can properly browse and play songs from the USB flash drive, you should just get a $5 8GB USB flash drive, fill it with your "car songs," and leaving it connected to the car audio system. That would be more convenient that remembering to connect and disconnect your nano all the time, and less wear-and-tear on the nano. -
The Ethernet Port will not recognize that my line is plugged in... Help!
Hello... My modem recently died on me and my internet service provider installed a new one. Since then, my Airport will not recognize the ethernet line coming from the modem. I have access to the internet only by a direct plug-in to my mac from the modem.
I have shut it down, restarted, re-installed and keep getting the same response from the airport: no ethernet found.
Any ideas on how I can get my wireless back?

Desktop Manager will not recognize that my smartphone is connected
My computer does recognize that the phone is connected; I can access it.
I tried using Desktop Manager 6.0 and 5.0.1. I was able to sync only once with 6.0 when I first installed it yesterday. Then, I got an endless "connecting" message, so I uninstalled and reinstalled v. 6.0 twice. I did a clean unistall of all RIM software, and re-installed 6.0. then unistalled it and installed v. 5.0.1.
I get this - all graywith version 6.0 "connecting" light stays on, does nothing,

ITunes will not recognize CD or play it
So, I put a CD in my computer that my sister burned for me, and iTunes does not recognize it so I cannot import it. And if I try to play any of the songs from the CD that does not work either. The files are in AIFF format, I don't know if that makes any difference. So, what's the deal? Anyone got any ideas?

My Mail application on my desktop iMac has converrted my original .me account to an iCloud account. It keeps asking for the password and rejects the original one. I've tried changing the password and it still rejects it. I've tried using my Apple ID password and that is rejected too. Should I just delete this mailbox. And then reset it up with new account information? Then would I lose all the e-mails or will they "reappear"? Thanks for any tips!
If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

CamelliaHi all. Never had any problems with iTunes over the past 6 or 7 years but suddenly (in last week or two) I can't play any songs with 10.6.1. I can select songs and get the speaker symbol, but the song does not play and the indicator stays at 0, while the play button is replaced by the pause button, as it normally does when a song is playing. I am using a one year old PC with Windows 7 and have had no other issues. Tried starting iTunes in safe mode...same result.Thoughts? Thanks.

I have an airport extreem network that works with my two MacBooks and a iMAC. I am having no luck in getting a PC (IBM ThinkPad0 that has the PC airport software to be recognized by the network. Any suggestions?
When you introduced the AirPort Extreme, you had a condition where you have two routers in series. The simpliest solution is to reconfigure the downstream router (in this case the Extreme) as a bridge. This will allow the upstream router to provide the required NAT & DHCP services to all network clients regardless of which router they are connected to.
To reconfigure the Extreme as a bridge, you will use the AirPort Utility. (Note: I will provide the steps for using AirPort Utility v5.x)
AirPort Utility > Select the AirPort > Manual Setup
Internet > Internet Connection tab > Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode) -
