HT4437 HELP, i can use airplay on photos and videos that i have recorded using my iphone 5 but i cannot stream music????
For some unknown reason I am able to airplay photos and video content that i have recorded using my iphone 5 but i am unable to airplay any music whats so ever??
there is not connection problems and as far as i cant tell all the settings are good?? (or photos wouldnt airplay?, right??)
This is driving me insane, a friend of mine has an iphone 4s and is able to stream music but my far superior iphone 5 cant!!!!! this isnt right surely???
How to use iTransfer
1. Launch iTransfer on both devices
2. Tap "Tap to Connect" on both devices
3. Select the device to pair and wait for device to connect
4. Tap "Accept" on the other device
5. Select Photos, Music or Files to transfer
6. Tap "Received File"
7. Select the received file and decide what action you'll like to take e.g. View, Email, Open In

Connect your iPhone to your computer. Tp your pc should recognize your iPhone as a camera. Use what ever application you have on the pc to transfer files from a camera to your computer.

I have a iPhone 5. In usage, it says i have 2.1 gigs used because of photos and camera. I have deleted all my photos via iPhoto and now reset the phone back to factory settings in order to try to solve this problem, to no avail. Both iTunes and the phone say that 2.1 gigs are being used, even though the phone now has nothing on it. What is going on?
Yeah it works fine over wifi the problem is when I try to use it over my 3G. It's really stressing me out now.

Hello all,
So I was organising my photos and videos on my iPhone 4s and wanted to delete them from my camera roll once I had moved them to new folders. When I tried to delete them from my camera roll it asked if I wanted to 'delete from everywhere'. Not knowing what this button did I pressed it and have now lost all the copies of those photos and videos I had taken!!!
Is there any way of retrieving them off of my iPhone? Is there like a recycle bin type folder where all the deleted data has gone to from where I can recover it?

Also, can I load the Lightroom itself onto an external hard drive and keep all my images off my laptop? If I edit them, do the edits remain on my laptop regardless of where the originals reside. I think that's the issue that I'm running into with Aperture: edits stay on my laptop even though originals are on an external HD.
Your photos can be on any hard disk, internal or external or network. If they are stored on an external hard disk, then when you import them into Lightroom, you select the ADD option and the photo will remain on your external hard disk. The edits are stored in your Lightroom catalog (as opposed to "remain on my laptop"). Once you import photos into Lightroom, you no longer want to manage them (move, copy, delete) using your operating system. You do all photo management in Lightroom.
If you transfer the photos properly, your edits, cropping, metadata, etc. will transfer to Lightroom, but I will leave the details to some expert on Aperture.
If I could offer some advice, I don't think you want to just transfer SOME of your photos to Lightroom. In my opinion, you want ALL of your photos managed by Lightroom, and not some in application 1 and some in application 2. This makes your life much easier when trying to find your photos, you don't have to think "Is this photo in Lightroom or is this in Aperture?" (Note: this doesn't mean you have to import all the photos from Aperture into Lightroom in one HUGE operation; you can certainly do the importing in manageable sized groups) -

If they are in photo stream and your computer meets the minimum system requirements (OS X 10.7.2 or higher and iPhoto '11 9.4 or later or Aperture 3.4 or later; or Vista SP2 or later if you have a PC), set up iCloud on your computer and enable photo stream, as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/. You'll get any photo stream photos from the last 30 days.
Camera roll photos are stored in your iCloud backup, and can only be recovered by restoring the entire backup to another iPhone or iPod Touch that is running the same or higher version of iOS as the phone you backed up. -

Itunes will not play a number of songs in my library as they were purchased a long while ago using an email address and ISP that I no longer use. When I try and play them I get the message "this computer is not authorised to play this song, authorise your computer now". Any ideas?

CAn you please tell me how I can get all the photos and video from my iPad and iPhone that aren't in photo stream so I can get them from my iCloud onto my PC please.
If you don't physically have the phone then there is no way for you to get the photos or videos.
Have you been backing up your phone? http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766 if so, you can restore that backup to your new phone and get all your contents back.

Looking for a back up drive for photos and videos that works with time machine, prefer wireless. Time capsule has poor reviews and already have BT hub that serves as a good router. 3gb or 4gb capacity preferred but 2 would suffice.
Plug a NAS into the BT Hub that does TM. Look at Synology.
You just use the wireless of the hub.
But the cheapest solution is still the TC. -

If you have a back up either in iTunes or in iCloud before you deleted the pictures, then you can restore that back up back on your iPhone. Also note you will not have anything that you have currently on your iPhone, as it will remove the current data and put what the back up had on it. If you where using iCloud and using Photo Stream, make sure you are on Wi-Fi and have closed out the Camera app as it will prevent it from uploading the photos.

I can buy a 1T hd to store photos and videos to, but would need a second one to back that up as well? I guess I need to know how to get aperture and iphoto to keep my photos on a larger drive and how to keep both the imac and that larger hd backed up. Note- we can't get DSL, so off site back up isn't a viable option.
Move your photo and video libraries to an external HD. Apple explains how to do this in:

I had my screen replaced and I can't see any of my photos or videos that were on my iPhone I used some trial software and found the photos but I don't want to have to pay to retrieve them is there other way ? It sounds like maybe you've unintentionally activated the Zoom feature.
Try going to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing, and make sure that Zoom is turned off.
