I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -
Can anyone help/ After installing ios7 on the iphone 4, I cannot connect bluetooth on the phone with my bluetooth car speaker. It worked before ios7. I have restored my phone but it is still not working.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This will not affect data. Remove the car speakers from the phone under Bluetooth, and remove the phone from the car stereo. After that place both devices back into pairing mode and reconnect.

Previous to ios7 overdrive woud transfer to mp3 baudioooks to my itunes and then to my iPhone 4. Now it is putting them in a file that I can see but not access the book. Any suggestions?
LizLizIt could be that overdrive needs to be upgraded by the developer to make it compatible with iOS 7. contact the developer.

After I downloaded iOS7 and my iPhone turned off I keep getting this message "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." I dont wanna lose some stuff from my iPhone.
During a normal install of iOS 7.0.6 this does not happen but something clearly went wrong in your installation.
To fix this, connect to iTunes and restore to Factory. Hopefully your iPad will be working again and you can restore your iCloud backup during Setup. -
My iPhone 5 won't let me use my apps until I connect them with iTunes after downloading ios7. There's just a thing that pops up and says that in order to activate banners and push notifications I have to connect the app with iTunes. The thing won't go away no matter how many times I push ok, and it doesn't give me another option. Solutions?
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

I had the same issue after the update. Most likely this feature just needs to be enabled. Go to Settings > Messages and turn on Group messaging.

Keyboard clicks- no sound, Skype not at all, viber ring sound, volume I can not move although the bottoms work properly etc etc etc etc. because all these problems I don't want to download iOS in my iPad. When we can fix it, and how. I need a really answer for apple. I just need to do one thing to see if it work restore to a fabric and copy again everything, but I've heard from people who has made it and nothing.

All of Apple's servers...including the activation servers are pretty much flooded with users like you doing the same thing. Be patient and keep at it...or wait till the traffic to them has decreased and then try again. Coming back to it tomorrow (if that's a viable option for you) will likely increase your chances of not having issues.

Describe the problem. Won't show videos? Won't take videos? Or other?
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

I have downloaded IOS7 on my iPhone and all calendar events have disappeared. The general functions of the calendar have changed and are definitely not 'user friendly'. How can I retrieve my calendar events. Will Apple improve the calendar function or revert to the previous system. Even the typing function on IOS 7 is faulty - very slow to respond to the keyboard. I no longer enjoy using my iPhone. Can anyone assist. Thank you
Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.
The typing function on the phone has become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen.
