Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

IPhone keeps saying connect to iTunes but won't restore what should I do?

I bought a 5C and it was working fine, but needed an update and had the person I bought the phone off had their iCloud still on. I asked them for the password but as he didn't know me he said he didn't trust me so I looked online and it said to force it to restore I should put it in DFU mode then plug it in to iTunes and it will restore. Now it just displays a iTunes logo (in red) and a lightning cable and arrow. Basically telling me to plug the phone into iTunes but i do and it won't restore, i try to restore it and it says error 1, 3,18 or 2006. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! What should I do?

New phone won't allow backup - not enough memory yet it backed up fine on 4s

I've upgraded my handset from 4s to 5c. I've followed the instructions from setup and allowed the new handset to download contacts etc from iCloud. Everything is there & I've now factory reset the 4s in order to pass onto my son. However, I can't backup the 5c as it states that I require 2.1 but only have 1.4mb available. How can this be (as I didn't experienced any issues with 4s) and what can I do to resolve?
When I access manage storage it shows "iPhone 3.5gb" and "this iPhone 0kb". Is this causing me the problem??

I have updated my iphone 4s with the last version IOS 7.0.2.
At the beginning my screen freezing each time I enter numbers or letters (in iphone security code as well as texting in any app)
Now, my wifi and bluetooth are broken. I have tried to activate them 3 days and nothing. I am lost. I have no internet in my telephone plan, so, all my apps are not working anymore.
How can I go back to IOS 6?
My iphone will be working correctly again???

I am getting this error message, when I try to update applications on my iphone 3.0.1. iTunes version is 8.0.2

I have a possible solution.
I had same problem. Latest iTune, Latest iPhone.
Called the Mac Store, they put me to tech support - did not solve the problem
Uninstalled & reinstaled iTunes - did not solve the problem
What made the problem go away is this:
Updated half of the apps directly on my iPhone while connected on WiFi.
Ran a sync
iTunes transfered updates from iPhone to iTunes
Then when I tried to download the remainig updtes in iTunes it worked with no problem.
Now there is no problem. Looks like the install of updates directly worked like a roto-rooter. Does no make sense but it worked.

Not enough memory to download from itunes store

hi all,
i did find a lot of threads about this. all of them said basically the same thing...its a bug. but they were years and years old. I am getting "We could not complete your itunes store request. There is not enough memory available. There was an error in itunes store. please try again later". I have "tried again later" for a week. I must mention this is on a vista system that i just got. i restored from a backup made. i also have an iphone. i know for a fact i have enough free memory. am i just screwed until they put out the next version??

I don't think so. Can you download apps one by one? That's how the others got rid of the error.
I was seeing that error, too. As soon as I DL'd the ebay app, it stopped. Don't know if the ebay app is still the one causing problems, or some other app.

When I try to:
* Listen to a preview of a song in the itunes store
* Watch a Movie or TV program I BOUGHT from the itunes store
* Or try to download my ALREADY PAID FOR songs from the itunes store
No matter WHAT I do... this shows up. I've updated everything there is to update (yes, including the Quicktime shiz), and am running itunes on a BRAND SPANKING NEW macbook... the best you can get... so I highly doubt it's a hardware problem in the computer itself (i.e...not enough memory on comp).
IF ANYBODY knows what to do... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!! Of course Apple won't write back with anything of value to this, nor do they know what to do when I try contacting them by phone.

Hello, everyone,
I just spent almost 2 hours with Apple support team to figure out what this problem is and they never heard about it before. Apparently, some cache files build up and something gets corrupt and affects the memory for iTunes to run the purchased songs. The solution we found that worked in my computer is:
1. restart it
2. once you hear the loud sound of the computer starting, press down "shift" and hold it. This will deactivate great part of everything running in the computer.
3. stop holding "shift" when you see the image of the spinning wheel, right below the apple symbol in the middle of the screen.
4. Log in. Let the computer fully start.
5. Once it's done, restart your computer again, but this time don't hold any key.
6. Log in. Let the computer fully start. Now, try your iTunes with a purchased song. It should play any song regularly now.
Hope it helps. I was having the same problem since New Year's Eve but Kevin, from Apple (California), was the best and figured it out this morning!

Since last night I,ve a problem with i Tunes, I mean ...I launch the app. but it displays that ther'not enough memory for do it ..What does it mean?
Reading other topics I discovered that may is the "UNO" app. making this problem.
I run uninstall and deleted UNO, repaired permission, reset p-ram, reboot ..but still not working!

I've deleted iTunes.plist and when I ran it, it start to "re-install" iTunes (I thaught.."ok, lost my playlist but I've back i Tunes") ...but is not working!

Just updated my iPad with iOS 7.0.3 > my iTunes music downloads are messed up....the regular tracklist of the albums are in chaos, can someone help me out to get them " in line" again!?

Well I basically answered my own question. I just ended up deleteing the tracks from the albums missing artwork (I highlighted all of them and right clicked delete) then just dragged over the album again that had the artwork already set and it worked like a charm.
Couldn't figure out any other way to do it. Still open to ideas for the future if anyone has any.

Unfortunately on these days I'm in a country that Apple don't have any retail store here and for sake of time I prefer to fix it myself to DHL it to the nearest country to use its warranty.
