First try one of these methodes:
Try to restart your iPhone
Hold the power button and slide to turn off, then turn it on
if you still have the same problem then try the second methode:
Reset Settings of your device:
Settings>> General>> Reset >> Reset All Settings
Make sure you reset only your settings and NOT any other Contents
if you still have the same problem, so it seems to be a hardware issue, take it to the nearest Apple Store.

Ever since my iPhone 4 automatically updated a few days ago with iOS6 the majority of my phone's apps are either very slow or will not work at all (game apps). Is anyone else having this problem? and is there a fix?
since morning today i have been running the iphone 4 with safari icloud sync turned off. i also left bookmarks sync from itunes off. i unplugged the charger at 100% charge at excatly 10 am. i am on 86% at the moment and its 5.30 pm. however i had to plug in the phone to my macbook for 3g internet access at about 91% which got it charged back to 100%. that was for about 30 minutes. so i guess i would had been at around 75% if i hadn't done that.
so i think people are right about the bookmark causing battery drain thing.
tomorrow i am gonna try with the phone rebooted and charger to 100%, with no location service running in the background, just when the app is running, and with all bookmarks deleted from my iphone. if i have to use 3g off my iphone i would use wifi personal hotspot. usually all this use... a few calls, some internet access, whatsapp, maybe a few pictures, and music for say about 2 hours should still leave me 40-50% battery by night, after 16 hours of use. if that goes well, i might have saved my self restoring the iphone to new.
as for the mac, i figured out a way to use timemachine for a smaller hdd. i will simply 'move' those files i dont want to keep on my ssd anyway, to an external hdd. like podcasts, videos and movies. then take a TM backup when the used space is under 120 gb. and then restore that to the SSD. should work, hopefully.

I have an iphone 3gs - yes, an older iphone.
This morning apple had a msg that asked if I wanted to upgrade to the new ios 6.1 (?). I said yes. Now I can't use my phone. I've tried hitting the power and other buttons. I get a white apple on the screen. can't reset phone - doesn't work. what can I do besides take phone into Apple? This *****! I realize (now from reading internet) that my phone/system may be uncompatible. Help!I have a 3GS (a true classic design!) and have upgraded it to 6.1 today. The process did not go without a glitch - it took a few attempts to get the app's to sync but after detecting the ones causing an issue and deleting them it works - so far! I have had issues about 50% of the numerous times a new OS is uploaded to this phone and always take the new OS with trepidation. But at least you know there is a 3GS with 6.1 working OK.
I suggest you do a fresh restart to the phone several times - without it being connected to the computer - to see if it gets its act together and starts. I think it will. Hold down the top 'power' button and front round control button until it shuts down - goes blank and dead. Then press the top power button to re-activate - reboot - it.
If that does not work then plug into your itunes computer, navigate in iTunes to see your iPhone and hopefully you will be able to sync it or at least 'restore iPhone' from the 'summary' tab.
If you can not get onto the iphone perhaps you will still be able to sync if in iTunes by going - 'file' - 'devices' - 'sync iphone' or failing that try transfer purchases' and ultimately 'restore from back-up'.
I had technical problems with my old 3GS (suffered a failed wireless antenna) so I took it to an Apple Store and they issued me with a service-replacement/reconditioned phone for a very modest charge. So if worst come to the worst get a new phone that way! -

No one here can help you. If your phone is no longer under warranty, a third-party repair shop will most likely be your best bet. You can't mail the phone to Apple, in the US, as Apple does not accept international shipments. You could mail it to a friend/relative, in the US, & they could take it to an Apple store for you. Some Apple stores repair iPhones. Otherwise, you're looking at an out of warranty replacement.

It would seem that you bought a phone that is locked to a carrier in Poland. You would either need to contact this carrier to discuss unlocking, or return or sell the phone and buy an unlocked one. -
I bought a book from itunes with my ipad. after syncing my ipad and iphone the book did not transfer to my iphone. Any suggestions? I might add that I an technically handicaped
If the book isn't on your computer's iTunes then you should be able to copy it from the iPad by connecting the iPad to your computer and in iTunes doing File > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync it to the iPhone (connect the iPhone to your computer, select it on the left-hand side of iTunes, and use the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync that book). Or you can re-download it directly on the iPhone : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

I upgraded from iPhone 3G to 4S a few days ago. When setting up the new 4S, I choose to restore my last 3G backup. It started by updating the OS to version 5.1 (9B179) then restored my apps and setting. Everything went well except that I realized I do not have the new apps which come with the 4S, like FaceTime, HD video and Siri.
What should I do to correct this?
Thank you in advance for any help on this.Ah, FaceTime is not an app, either. It's accessed by tapping the FaceTime button when you are in the contacts app and have selected a contact. This can also be done from the Phone app under the Contacts tab, or during a call, you can switch to FaceTime.

There are conflicted information in this forum. The contract free T-mobile 5s is not "unlocked" in US, it is supposed to be unlocked for overseas GSM. However, it is not clear whether you need to activate it on T-mobile first and wait for 40 days for unlock code to unlock it before you can use it overseas.
I contacted both Apple and T-mobile multiple times. None of them answered question with a clear answer.
The best way to confirm this is to purchase the 5s from the Apple Store. Remove the T-mobile SIM before you turn 5s on and replace the SIM with your international SIM. Turn it on and go through the initial setup to see if the iPhone is lock or not.
If it is locked, simply return to the Apple store with full refund in 30 days. Since Apple is not answering the question, why not try it yourself on their dime? -
