My guess is you're in a country that does not yet support turn-by-turn.

You can't use your computers Internet connection to update your phone from the phone itself. If you want to use the computers Internet connection to update your phone you must update it through iTunes.

Hello, I purchased iTunes Match for my new iPhone five and it is intended to move the music from my computer to my other computer, but it stopped working on my MacBook Pro, it stopped after the first step. So, my question is, can iTunes Match work if the iTunes in question has other accounts attached to it, of not, can I get a refund on a service that does not work?

I've tried signing out, re-opening iTunes, re-booting, etc. Still comesup stuck for hours. What I also don't understand is why the "iCloud Status" option in "View/View Options" disappears intermittently. It was there when I first booted up this morning and I reviewed all my music files to see if there were any "errors" and there werne't any. But after Match gets stuck on the same file niumber (11035) I 've signed out and re-booted and now the "iCloud Status" check box is missing from "View Options" (only the "iCloud Download" option remains present all the time. Please help. (I've also checked to make sure all the music files are within the suggested bit rate parameters and file type - This is also a brand new iMac out of the box). Running out of troubleshooting ideas and beginning to think this service just doesn't work well.

Can't get Maps to work in Calendar.
Add a new appointment and put in an address in 'location' but I never get the option to see a map in the event. Further, the 'travel time' is not calculating, nor is weather imbedded in the event.

Just realized that you cannot do this pasting in an address. You have to type it in and then it will pull up the map.
Further if the even is mailed to you as an event it doesn't appear to pick up the address either. Only if you type it in.

I installed Lion 10.7.4. Went to use Photoshop Cs and got a popup window. You can't open the application Adobe Photoshop CS because PowerPC applications are no longer supported. Is there a way of getting this to work or do I have to get the all new!

PowerPC applications are unsupported in newer versions. You can upgrade Photoshop or you can install Snow Leopard in a partition.
1. Open Disk Utility (Applications > Utilities) and select your drive
2. Go to Partitions tab, press + button, create a new partition and press Apply
3. Insert the Snow Leopard install DVD and reboot pressing C key
4. Install it in the new partition
5. If you want to change boot, go to System Preferences > Startup Disk and select 10.7

Can't get Extreme to work for me

I bought an Airport Extreme in May and just cannot get it to work for me. It most likely has to do with my settings as it seems complicated for me. My ISP refuses to help me other than providing me with some router/IP info. They claim they have had problems with Airport Extremes (anti-Mac) and do not know how to help me and I should contact Apple. My ISP also claims they have been successful with their few Mac clients using NetGear and they can help with that.
This is depressing to me because I am loyal Mac user and have never had problems with any Mac product. But I can't figure this one out on my own. I do not see phone support for the Airport Extreme and I feel exhausted by this.
Is anyone is willing to walk me (could be painful) through this or willing to buy my Extreme and I will concede to my pro-Windows ISP. In the end, all I want is one of my computers to be online wireless.

Don't assume that it is just a question of anti-Macness. There are legitimate reasons why an ISP (or a business) decides not to support this weird device. It goes against most of what is considered reasonable by the leading manufacturers, but hey, it's Apple. They usually don't care about that as long as they have loyal customers who still trust Apple.
I'd say that the critical settings are in the Internet tab. Assuming you have your computer connected to the airport using an Ethernet cable, and that you have the Admin Utility running, go to the Internet Tab and make sure that:
1. Connect using: Ethernet
2. Configure IP - It depends. You say that your ISP has given you some router/IP info. In that case, you need to choose "Manually" and enter all the fields following this setting. Otherwise, they might have told you that you will be assigned a DHCP address, and in this case choose "Using DHCP." The last two boxes ("Domain Name" and "DHCP ID") are usually not utilized.
3. For "Ethernet WAN Port" Automatic should suffice, but in my case, I had to force it to 100 Full Duplex or otherwise wouldn't work. Go figure!
4. For Connection Sharing, most probably you'll have "Share a public IP address" but if the ISP gives you a set of addresses, you may need to choose "Distribute a Range..." Not probable, though.
Leave the other two tabs as default, but make sure that your computer has DHCP enabled.
Following this steps won't give you a fully working wireless network (we have not configured anything yet) but at least should give you a working state for computers connected via Ethernet wire. We can take the next step then.
Good luck. This router (and the iPhone for similar reasons) are going to make may Apple loyal customers rethink future purchases. It has certainly happened to me.

64-bit editions of Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8 require the iTunes 64-bit installer
xp 64 bit is not mentioned but it doesn't seem to be supported for the latest ITunes so it seems that you're out of luck.

How do I get Maps to work?

The new Maps directions program installed when I upgraded my iPad2 is not working. I enter start and ending locations, choose the route and touch start. The first step of the directions is shown. Instructions say that I should then touch an arrow to continue, but the arrow does not appear and the. I am using wi-fi. Can anyone advise me?

I have found that Maps directions do not work when I use "current location" as the starting point, even though the starting point shown on the map is correct. If I manually enter the starting point address, the directions program works. On a negative note, while the turn-by-turn directions work, the sound shuts off.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. Changing your Apple ID to your current, working email address will not create another Apple ID, it will only change it to your working email address.
