HT4623 I downloaded ios7 and initially it was working fine. Now it is flashing from my home screen to the white screen with the black apple every 3-5 seconds. It's so annoying and I can't make it stop! I tried shutting down all the way - nope! HELP!
I downloaded ios7 on my iphone 5 yesterday. All day it worked fine, then last evening it started blinking from the white screen with the black apple to my home screen. Each screen only stays up for 3-5 seconds then switches back. I have tried shutting down and it is still happening! Does anyone know how to fix this issue without having to go into the store?
Your power adapter is OK. If the only place it will not work is in your home, your house wiring and / or the appliances connected to it are likely to be the reason your Mac will not charge.
From Troubleshooting MagSafe adapters:
Identify line noise issues.
Unplug the power adapter from the wall, let it sit for 60 seconds, then plug the adapter back in.
If the adapter works after this 60-second "rest", you most likely have a line noise issue with your power source. You should reset the adapter periodically by repeating this moment of rest. This issue occurs when the AC adapter's "over voltage protection" feature senses ground noise and then turns off the adapter.
Some possible sources of line noise include lights with ballasts, refrigerators, or mini-refrigerators that are on the same electrical circuit as your computer. This behavior may not occur if you plug the power adapter into an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or plug it into a different circuit.
Unless the adapter continues to exhibit this behavior on a known good outlet, it does not need to be replaced.
Household wiring problems are very common. They can also be very dangerous. Fortunately most problems can be easily fixed by a qualified electrician.

In this Skype folder: delete the file shared.xml and restart Skype.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps. -
If my phone's memory is full, mostly due to music, how can I make it to where my IPad holds all the music and remove all of it from my phone without losing any of it? I recently got an iPad so I now use that as my main source as opposed to my Dell. Yes, I have a Dell that failed me. Miserably.
Sync your music from your computer to your iPad. Then delete the music from your iPhone.

After I have upgraded to the new iOS 6.1.2, the email software doesn't work and is not downloading. While before it was working fine.
How to fix this?There seems to be massive amounts of problems with every aspect of iOS 6. From what I understand all you can do is try and reset your device and pray that Apple bequeaths working software next time or allows users to revert to iOS 5 while they search for someone who knows what they are doing. Perhaps you will need to use an alternate email app until then? (Although, Gmail seems to be the only one that works properly)

Have not heard of that but here is what I would do - test after each step to see if the problem is solved
1. Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
2. If that does not work - back up to iTunes and restore to factory settings
3. Check to see if the problem is resolved before restoring from backup -

What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

My Macbook pro no longer outputs to my vizio led tv. It was working fine now I cant get any picture. It just says no signal. It is not the hdmi or the adapter because it works fine with my other tv. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Please be as specific as possible. Thanks. BTW--I am using the mini dvi to hdmi adapter in case that was unclear.
Since you say that the same connectors work on your other TV is suggests that the fault is not in the connectors but your Vizio TV. I would check the settings on the Vizio TV. Verify that is is set to receive HDMI input. Perhaps you or some one else has inadvertently changed them. Pressing the wrong buttons on a remote control device can do that. (I am assuming no changes were made in SYSTEM PREFERENCES>DISPLAYS)

PSE9 - problems with tags and Outlook. Was working fine Friday!
I had PSE8. Would no longer print or use Outook on Windows 7. Kept having to revert to a restore point. Purchased PSE9 and installed 2 days ago. Worked perfectly. Used my original keyword tags, printed and sent email via Outlook without a problem. Turned on the computer this moring and tried to send email and the program crashed and crashed and crashed. Also, now I have a bunch of boring keyword icons instead of the one I have chosen on all my photos. They are organized correctly but the icons are not the ones I chose which are listed in the organizer pane. There was some kind of Adobe update and this morning I had to go to a restore point in order to be able to email again. I have been having this issue for over a month now since I started using Windows 7. The only program I have had any problem with is PSE!!!!! After installing PSE9, I deleted PSE8 and things were still working fine 2 days ago. Am not happy and am sick of spending my precious time dealing with PSE on a daily basis.
I did assure that Outlook is set as my default email program before I posted this.

Premiere Elements 11, Windows 8, Was Working Fine, Now 'Has Stopped Working'
I have just finished a project successfully, burned a BluRay with acceptable result, then shut down for the night. While viewing the BluRay, I saw a couple of glitches I wanted to fix, and the menu did not appear, so re-opened the project this morning. Thinking a stop marker would fix the menu not re-appearing, I inserted one at where I thought the end of my video was. I then found an unnecessary clip at the end that had slipped by me, making the end of the video longer, and likely the problem with the main menu not coming back. I deleted the clip. I rendered, saved, and played, but the playback wouldn't start. I closed and restarted about 5 times, same result. Now, Premiere Elements does not start at all, I get the splash screen, then the Windows box saying the program has stopped working and Windows will be in touch with me when they find a solution. Any ideas? I de-selected a sound device in Control Panel while the program was running, but have undone that action and the program will not start. I appreciate the help.

Long story short, I have managed to re-install the program and get it to start. After the third time, the combination seems to be to Remove my preferences, Remove downloaded content, and Deactivate Product. I was reluctant to do the deactivation checkbox, I downloaded the program and was concerned about being locked out, Adobe thinking this was another illegal install.
I started the program gently (giving things a long time to load, light on the hard drive being the main indicator) and was able to reload the video that seemed to cause the problem. Rendered, played, edited, no problems at this point.
As to what may have caused the trouble initially, I'm not sure. I have speakers run off the analog onboard sound, with a microphone connected. I also have a USB headset w/ microphone that I use for narration and latenight listening. These devices don't seem to know about each other, and changing their status in Control Panel does not translate to a current Elements session. In Elements preferences, I enabled the analog speakers. From there, things went downhill. The sound wouldn't play, then the play would not start the video in editor, then the program would not start at all.
I really like this program so far. I used Elements 1 and 2 way back when (with a computer to end all computers) to get all of our VHS recordings onto digital media. I did some editing and made some videos, then got away from it for a few years. We started diving and I got a GoPro camera. It didn't take too long to figure out the computer I had wouldn't do it for the new video formats. So, I now have the computer to end all computers to take care of the task. This has been the first glitch I've had in Elements 11. I expected a great deal more trouble with Windows 8.

I can no longer edit album or song information in iTunes. I right-click on the album (or song), and the window opens with "get info", "rating", etc., but none of it operates. It won't get or save album art, anything. What have I changed to make it all stop working?
You are describing an iTunes problem, not an iPod touch problem. Try posing in the iTunes forum.

I have the ipod touch newest edition and downloaded ios8 on it yesterday. It worked great no issues all day and today. twenty minutes ago i was in my car listening to music played fine. Got home and put my ipod in my purse. When i got back in the house. My ipod wont turn on. the home button wont do anything the unlock button either. my ipod was charged and i have tried plugging it into the outlet and computer and it just wont do anything!? Is any one else having this issue? or what am i doing wrong?

My iTunes has been working fine until this afternoon and now when I go to download music I am getting error code 11503 or (-50) Help, please!
Here's a possible fix for Error 11503 and for error 50.
It worked for me and hopefully it will work for you.
I believe this error is caused by the incomplete downloading of either an update to an app, or perhaps a big music file. In my case it was caused by closing the lid on my laptop when I was downloading app updates on a very slow internet connection in a hotel.
Anyway, here is what I did that fixed it completely.
Close iTunes.
Go to this folder : /iTunes/Mobile Applications/Downloads
You'll find tmp files there. Drag them out of this folder to a temporary folder on your desktop. The Downloads folder should now be empty.
Restart iTunes.
All should be fine.
If it's not, then I can't help further, but that's what worked for me.
