I don't know either its jailbroken or hacked otherwise.
It was working properly before I have updated it through Itunes to update the OS. After the updation, this message occurs
Authentication failed, please try after few minutes

Thank youWell when you download the update with iTunes it will always download the whole new version (in your case 7.0.2) even if its just an bug fix. If you already have 7.0 download the update over-the-air.
You already wrote that the update is only 21 MB, so its not the whole firmware package of 7.0.2 you get with iTunes. -
I try to update my iPhone 5 but in the middle of the way error 1603 didnot allow me I did every thing that I read about it but in every computer and updated one it is the same and now I am in DUF mood and my phone can not start what I must to do
The program is for replacement since Apple does not repair iDevices...you take your non-working or damaged iPhone to an Apple store genius bar, or send to Apple service, and they provide a refurbished unit as a replacement, for a fee, of course. You will have to talk with Apple to see if you get all components or just the iPhone replaced.
With AppleCare+ you can have two out-of-warranty replacements for a cost of $49 each. -
i downloaded the latest update ios 7.0.4 and update my iphone 5, but to my surprise i couldnt locate the downloaded file on itunes and i've also checked my itunes folder, still cant see the file. pls anybody who can help.
The downloaded file is probably stored at C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates. In general it is probably best to "download and install" updates than download and then install later. Note that you cannot revert to the older firmware if you don't like the update, even if you have the old .ipsw files.

I have downloaded the latest software but it has set my phone to the incorrect time, 8 hours earlier than it is so alarm didn't go off this morning as I hadn't noticed! Won't let me change time. Apps look like cartoons designed by a child. V unhappy

Updating the ipod with itunes takes too much time
i have like 3000 songs in my itunes library ,but when i change some track's names o change anything of my songs in a diferent way like putting their names in capital letters or changing their artworks..etc ,itunes takes too much time updating the changes to my ipod................. why?

Windows XPGenerally the iPod update is pretty quick unless you are making many hundreds of changes at a time. It could be the USB port is slow, try it in another port, preferably on the back of the PC, some computers have underpowered ports on the front panel. Also the recommended system requirements are for USB 2, it will work from a USB 1 port but much slower if that's the type of port you have.

I have updated my iphone 5 with IOS7. Now there is an update 7.0.2 on my cell and the size of update file is showing around 21.0 MB. I tried to update it ITunes but it seems it is downloading the entire IOS. Is there any separate update for the same or I have to download the entire IOS again?

All iPhones sold in Japan are carrier locked. The Japanese carriers do not offer unlocking.
You can not use that phone on a carrier other than the one it is locked to.
Sell it and buy one you can use. -

That's almost always because the phone was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it.

I didn't realize that my iphone has already been updated to that ios 7 thing. I tried to update it so that I could redo all my music selection to make more space for my TV shows on it, but it failed and my iphone 5c was disabled with only a picture of my charger plug and an arrow pointing to the itunes logo. Now that the update was incomplete, my itunes on my computer failed to recognize the device and even when I have taken it out of my computer, the image still stays on my iphone. It won't go away no matter how many times I restart my phone. I need to get it back to normal and get this stupid picture off the screen. How can I fix it?
Sounds like your iPhone is in recovery mode as the update failed. You will now need to restore the iPhone to factory settings with iTunes on a computer. If your iPhone is not being recognised by your computer read one of the articles below based on your computers OS:
