HT4623 I installed the latest update this morning and my phone turned off and won't turn back on. Help!
My battery was fully charged. The notice for an update came up so I told it to start. Then the phone shut off and won't turn back on. When I plug it back in, I can hear it "revving" but it still won't turn on. Any ideas?
Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

I received an error message when attempting to install the latest iTunes update that tells me to reinstall iTunes. I don't know how and am afraid to do that without help.

In addition, whenever I open tabs the browser starts pausing for a while. This didn't happen before. I think there might be some sort of inconsistency in the latest update of firefox which was automatically installed yesterday.
It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. could you give me a hand? i downloaded the latest update for i tunes, and now im facked. i cannot open itunes. ive deleted and uploaded the new one as it says to in the 'support' section, all to no avail.

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.

Have a look at your settings in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

I am using Firefox 3.6.8. Oddly, my problem appeared a few hours PRIOR to Firefox automatically installing the latest updates (the week ending 7/23), not afterwards. The problem is this: the browser continues to display tabs, the reload/home/history/favorites icons, URL field and Google search field while in full-screen mode, so it's not really full-screen anymore. How can I correct this?

There is no logical expectation for Whatsapp to be listed under location services or for that to have any affect on what the app can access. -
I have just installed the latest update - IOS 7.0.4. Prior to this, my AOL email worked fine. Now it gives an ID/password error message. However, everything is fine on my Windows computer. Any thoughts?

I installed the latest update of Photoshop CC two days ago on my Macbook Pro, and now when I try to do focus stacking by opening multiple photos and doing Auto Align and Auto Blend, the blend selects the entire bottom layer instead of selecting the in-focus areas from each layer. I even tried again on a series of images where this worked a week ago and the problem occurs. I have Photoshop on a Windows 8 machine and did not apply this latest update and it works fine. Has anyone else encountered this?
And since installing this same update, my Photoshop is crashing just after starting.

Ali from french Adobe support told me to delete my Settings files, but it was not enough.
A girl with no name from the same team told me to update my video card driver, but you know I run the latest Mac OS X version and everything is updated, mademoiselle.

- Troubleshoot account-specific fonts, but there wasn't any corrupted font
- Delete account-specific Adobe cache files but... guess what...
- Troubleshoot account-specific login items but... yes, that's it, I can see you understand me
- Reset the access settings on the user account's Library folder... oh god, that was fun, I used the Terminal and sudo commands
I did all of these things because when I tried to open PhCC in an other admin session, it worked, so that was an incompatibility between my session and PhCC. But, but, but, when I tried again to lauch the app in the second session, it worked fine but refused to quit. Ha ha ha.
So you can try to delete your Settings files. I wish it'll work for you. If not you can try the long list above... or hope a better answer from the support.
I didn't change anything but Photoshop on my session and they ensure that the bug is due to my session and not to their update. Strange affair.

Ever since installing the latest update to iOS 7.1.2 I am prompted numerous times daily to enter my Apple ID and password. I am having the same issue on my iPad 2 and my iPhone4. Any suggestions?
First, if you still have access to the hacked account, rename it if you can and change the password for it.
How to change the name you use for your Apple ID
If needed, change the email linked to it as well. Get control of that account back.
As all iTunes purchases are linked to the account that purchased them (music, apps, etc) it is best to rename an account rather than creat a new account. Apple ID's can't be deleted or merged either.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

I installed the latest update of Mavericks from the App Store today and after restarting my system it doesn't go beyond the Apple logo and the spinning wheel. I tried resetting the NVRAM but it still has the same problem.
