HT4623 My i phone was disabled due to "security" reasons. I reset my password, got confirmation, but I still get the message on my i phone and cannot update or purchase Apps.
I woke up one morning and my i phone had a message for me: "your account is disabled due to security reasons". I follow the instructions to establish a new ID and password. It was confirmed on the i Phone, but when I try to download apps. or get updates it will not accept my ID/password which I have reset half a dozen times already.
On the flip side, I can log on my MacBook Pro without any problems. Same ID/password combo.
Technicians haven't been able to get this resolved. Any advice is highly appreciated.

Apple id disabled due to security reasons
I'm growing tired of apple iTunes, my ID has been disabled because someone hacked my account and purchased a $9 app and I reported it. Ever since then, everythime I try to download anything, I get a reading saying that "my account has been disabled due to security reasons" and redirects me to a website with a walkthrough on how to fix it. I've followed what the forum said, and changed my password and reverified the email address, but it didn't fix the problem. When I called apple, they told me to go to the website, so I thought I decided it'd be better to just go to the local apple store and none of the employees knew how to help me. I've tried everything and nothing seems to work, I've changed my password multiple times, and even changed the cc# on the account and nothing is working, please help me, I'm about fed up with this and I've purchased to many items from the store to be able to just create a new account.

My iPad and iPhone4s both state "NOT ENOUGH STORAGE" and can't backup due to not enough iCloud storage available in the cloud.
I have sync my phone to my pc using itunes, but I still get the msg on the phone - could it be that the ipad and phone both receive the same mail? I did go into Settings - icloud - and shut off Mail on phone - I will sync the iPad as well - both devices receive my mail as well as Acer pc.? thank you -Not having enough storage in your iCloud account isn't caused by using your iCloud email account on your device. It may be caused by having lots of email in your account though.
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage to see what is taking up the space in your account. -
actually i try to integrate my firefox with INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER but in ADD-on it is showing disable due to security reasons,plz help me.

(There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.
You can also get a separate program that can do the downloading
leaving the browser free. -
The language on my phone was changed to japanese. I have switched it back to English, but itunes still has some japanese writing on it.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

I have done everything advised by the support page but still get the message " you apple id has been disabled". I also can't get a "person" on any apple phone numbers, just a "machine person" sending me back to the support page. Please help!

I still get the message to download the app, but I did, and the installation was allegedly successful. This even happens after a reboot
I guess that was a bit cryptic. I'm trying to update iPhoto from system 10.5.6, a PowerPC system, to 10.8. The app I downloaded is iPhotoLibraryUpgrader.dmg. I open that and I see Iphoto Library Upgrader.pkg. Igo through the install, which says it completes successfully. However, when I double-click on the iPhoto icon on the dock, I get the oroginal message that the upgrade must be installed. I hope this gives enough information to diagnose the problem. I apologize for the first message's laack of detail.

I am trying to download a movie and get the message: "An unknown error occured (5002). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later." Waited a day and still get the message. Have downloaded movies before.

After an unsuccessful Itunes update I started getting a "msvcr80.dll file is missing from your computer" message. I downloaded and installed the Microsoft Visual C++ file and it said the reinstallation was successful but I still get the same error message and Itunes won"t install or run. Any suggestions? Thanks

When you uninstall, the items you uninstall and the order in which you do so are particularly important:
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.

my iPhoto will not work with Yosemite, and it says that it was purchased under a different account, but that's not the case. Any ideas why I cannot update iPhoto?
How did you buy iPhoto? Did it come preinstalled on your computer with Lion or later, or did it come with Snowleopard on system installer disks?
Which version of iPhoto?
If you have a version of iPhoto '11 and it is showing on the Purchased tab of the App Store, with your Apple ID, then delete iPhoto from the Applications folder (don't empty the Trash) and download iPhoto again from the Purchased tab.
If that does not work, contact The App Store Support from the Quick Links on the AppStore main page.
Only apple Support can fix problems with apple ID. -

I Continue to get the message my Apple ID is inactive. I have reset my passcode and this doesn't seem to help.
If you are still receiving that message after resetting your password, you need to contact Applecare and tell them that your Apple ID is disabled.
