HT4623 my iphone just restored while connected to my computer and I lost all my pictures?? I don't see any photos in icloud?  how can I get it all back?

Help I was trying to save my pictures from my phone to my computer and then it restored my cell phone and I lost all pictures and videos from the past year and my text messages are from a year ago.. how did i get all that back? and I can't find my icloud photo stream at all!

you restore from backup, if you have one and if those text and pictures were included in the backup.
