I suspect you didn't read wjosten's reply. The activation server is not down. Your computer or your actions are preventing the activation. To be more specific, the possible causes are:
1. Your antivirus is blocking access to gs.apple.com.
2. Your phone is jailbroken.
3. Your computer has been used at some time in the past to jaibreak some iOS device (not necessarily the phone with the problem), and its network database was corrupted by the hacking software that was used.
4. Apple's activation servers are down (very rare, and never for more than an hour or so).
For 1. try disabling your antivirus.
For 2. & 3. you need to go somewhere other than an apple forum for help. Although you can try deleting lines containing gs.apple.com from your "hosts" file on your computer. -
I am trying to update my iphoto and it will not open at all
I have used the iPhoto manage to rebuild my library and tried doing the iPhoto upgrade tool and the upgrade tool won't even run. it keeps saying there is an error and stops as soon as i select the library and hit continue.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 10 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -

You may want to try simply restarting your phone to see if you are able to get past that page after a restart. Instructions for doing this can be found here:

I have the iPhone 5s. I synced it with my Mac and got all the old apps from my old phone. I was not able to update any of the apps on the old phone and they will not update on the new iPhone 5s either! What can I do?

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

Please help me. My YouTube app will not work. Every time I open it says 'cannot connect to youtube'. I have searched for help and tried resetting my settings and rebooting my ipad2 but nothing has solved the issue.
Yes, I am connected to the Internet through my wifi. Everything is working fine with the e eption of youtube. I have reset all Internet settings and have tried synching to iTunes followed by rebooting. This is all the advice I have found although none of it has been helpful.

After downloadinf iso 7 my imessage and facetime will not activate. It says to sign in using itunes password then when I try imessage says it could not sign in please check network connection. My network says its connected??????

Only iPod Touch 4th generation can update to iOS 6.
iPod Touch 5th Generation will come with iOS 6 already installed.

I have the new iPhone 4s. I'm using cloud. I try to sync my playlists to my phone an it either erases them completely or keeps saying it cannot move all music files over? Please help. Also my purchased ringtones will not sync up as well.
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

Ive gotten 3 responses from you guys. But still no help. Can't believe it's taken this long for apple to respond to this issue and I'm very disappointed that all I did was take precaution from left to my account info and my account has been disabled since. Sad that we can't do any updates to equipment I've spent so much money in. Hope this is resolved real soon.
Who exactly are you addressing this post to? And what exactly are you posting? We are just users like you, and have no idea what you are referring to. If there is something you would like to ask - user to user - please do so. Otherwise, you are wasting your time complaining about Apple, since we are not Apple.

I have tried to get a response from Apple concerning the " I must have the readable version of the Visual Voice Mail from Verizon" The I Phone 6 plus will not let the readable version of Visual Voice Mail from Verizon work on the phone.
Why what can be done to allow this to show on the IPhone6 plus screen. please someone solve this It should be so simple for the powers that built this phone. Also, if Verizon is charging you for Premium Visual Voice Mail (which according to their website is currently the only one that offers voice to text) you should contact them for a refund as the "Check Device Compatibility" link at their http://www.verizonwireless.com/wcms/consumer/products/visual-voicemail.html shows that only 16 phones are supported and the iPhone is not one of them.
If you decide to switch phones, you may also want to consider that feature from Verizon only transcribes the first 45 seconds of a voicemail. -

When you get to the page about answering your security questions, click on the link for Forgot My Answers. That will send an email to the rescue email address on how to reset.
