HT4623 Updated my ipad using 7.0.4 iOS, now my pictures in my photo stream are showing "JPG" in a grey box, how can it view my pictures?
Just ran the 7.0.4 iOS update on my iPad & now I can't view my pictures under the photo stream album, it's showing a grey box with "JPG" where the individual pictures should be, how can I view my photos?
I had the same issue,
Mine was with sync'ed photos, not Photo Stream,
I opened the iPhoto Library Package and removed the iPod Photo Cache. Then resync'ed and everything started working great!

You can move apps around in iOS 7 the same as iOS 6. Press an app icon until you see it wiggle; then drag it to where ever you want it to be. Drag it onto another app to create a folder with the two apps. Tap the Home button to stop the wiggle.

There was some updayts for my iPad 4 automatically downloaded. After installing it, the iPad began to restart itself every few minutes.
I tryed to update my iPad using iTunes. After connecting to MacBook Pro, where is installed all latest software, iPad is recognised as "iPad", Serial Number: n/a. iTunes run recovery mode, trying to restore iPad firmware, and in the end unknown error occured (3). Tried many times, not results. And now iPad stays only in recovery mode, can't switch it off. How can I solve this problem please?When I restart my iPad the connect to iTunes comes up and stays on until it shuts down again, I have read a report from Apple support suggesting I reinstall iTunes so I might try that again and also your suggestion which i shall also try, but thanks again - rg1547

I am attempting to update students' iPads using the Apple Configurator software. However, information for 3rd party apps, like Notability and Explain Everything, is being lost.

If by "still nothing" you mean they are not showing up in the AU manager after reinstalling them....
Im guessing the AU Cache itself is now corrupted so.....
Quit LPX
Open Finder
Press the option key and click "Go" in Finder's menu and select "Library". (This is the User Library and not the System Library and is normally hidden which is why you have to hold down the option key when clicking on Go.... to reveal it in the drop down menu that will appear)
Go to "Caches" dir and remove "AudioUnitCache" dir.
Now Restart your Mac.....
and then Launch LPX and let it rescan your plugins and see if that fixes things....

Hi, Im using an iPhone 4 8gb and recently updated my software using my computer to iOS 6.1.3 and some of the tabs are now grayed out and cant function (specific reference to "Show My Caller ID - On/Off tab"). is there a way to fix this or can i downgrade back to my default software?

Thanks for your response, I forgot to add that the five 3uk sims we have in use, I have tried all of them none of them are recongnised non of them have pin codes, I even purchased four more sims Tmobile (original carrier) Vodaphone, 3 and giffgaff. -

This is to report the problem i encountered when i updated my Ipad mini to the new IOS 8.1..
After the update my Ipad restart and after that it appears a picture that need to connect to itunes and need to restore. So i connect it to itunes and wait to restore my ipad mini because it is not opening.
After restoring it my ipad is now opening and it is like new that i need to set up again.
I set up again until i reach the apple id and password.
I put my below apple ID and password to unlock my ipad but it didn't work. The message i receive is "the apple ID cannot be used to unlock this Ipad.
What will I do? Please help.

Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart.
Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

How come I can't update my iPad 1 to the new iOS 6 it says my iOS version 5.1.1 is the latest version?
The iPad 1, coming up on three years since it was introduced, has been given two major and a number of minor upgrades to iOS, more than many tablet manufactures provide. The iPad 1's hardware just can't effectively support many of the features in iOS 6. So I don't think that it's particularly unfair for Apple to no longer provide updates. And yes, I do own and manage a number of iPad 1s.

We have a corporate iPad in our auto showroom to show guests how to use features on their vehicles. Someone locked it with their account. It was not an employee. How can I get in? I did a restore of the software already?
