Never mind I figured it out all you do is go into DFU mode than restore and setup as new ipod

The file is too large to download via 3G. There is a 20MB limit with 3G. The purpose of having 3G is that you have internet access everywhere and do not need to be near a WiFi hotspot or network.
Not every single thing that you do every single minute of the day on the iPad involves downloading files larger than 20MB. You can surf the internet all day long sitting out in a park somewhere with 3G - but not with a WiFi only iPad - unless you use a hotspot with it.
Try turning off your firewall and anti virus software while you try to download the iOS update. -
How do I find installer? When I try to install downloads, the box says that I do not have the Installer I need.
If it's updates through the Office auto-updater that are having problems, that's probably an issue you'll need to take up on Microsoft's support site. If you're having problems installing Office from scratch and it's saying it can't find Installer, you may need to repair your hard drive. More help will probably be obtained if you post in the Mac OS X 10.6 forum; this forum, where you originally posted, is for help with the Communities themselves.

When i downloaded itunes and try to launch the program it says a installed component is not installed. What does that mean?
Just in case the component being referenced is not part of iTunes but is rather part of one of the other related programs, it might be worth trying a complete uninstall/reinstall of iTunes and related componentry, as per the following troubleshooting document:

OK, so this problem has been going on for quite a few months, and has persisted through several iOS updates:
I deleted both Facebook messenger and Instagram from my iPhone 5s. they have been stored to my iCloud. Now, when I try to re-download just those 2 apps (doesn't happen with any others I have noticed yet), it looks like the download is going to start, but almost immediately switches back to the download from cloud button. I have signed out and back in to my iCloud account and my apple account and neither have worked. A hard reset did not work either. Repeatedly tapping (hey I was frustrated!) did not work either. updating my iOS did not work. It only happens to these 2 seemingly popular, well developed apps. Can anyone provide me a solution? Thanks!I Also want to try to avoid doing a full reset if possible. Or whatever the process is called that erases all your photos and messages and apps, Etc.

My iPhoto somehow got deleted from my Macbook Pro. Now when i try to re-download it from app store, i get the message, "we could not complete your purchase, iPhoto cant be installed on Mac OSX install ESD, because Mac OS X version 10.9 or later is required." The iphoto was actually installed on this macbook and now i cant re-install it. This version of macbooks dont come with any CD. Please help somebody?

When I try to update Firefox it repeatedly says Firefox must be closed to proceed with install even tho Firefox is closed. I get the same message when I try to uninstall the existing version of Firefox. How do I close Firefox??? The same thing happens when I try to update other programs. When a program is off what else do I have to do to turn it off??
If you get an error message that you do not have sufficient permissions or have other problems with updating to update then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

I am also facing the same issue.
four days back, my power buttton stopped working.
Then my sim card slot stopped reading like it was stuck at gsm/cdma band.
Even without simcard it said searching..
then I changed the power button and antenna strip myself as my iphone5 is uk ee and i live in india.
Everything was fine and I booted the phone.
The power button worked like a new device... but the searching problem still remained.
I hard resetted my phone but to no vail. even Find My phone was not turning off.
then I forced my phone to recovery mode and downloaded iphone5,2 7.0.2,11A501_restore.ipsw from web and flashed it.
At the start it recognised and everything was good until the "restoring iphone firmware" was stuck at the end point.
I tried every trick on net. Even tried to downgrade.. but it was blocked.
at the last it is either stuck at firmware or itunes unknown error (3)
Please somebody help me to recover this PAPERWEIGHT to a phone again... -
