HT4759 Suddenly my icloud (on PC) won't recognize my keyboard "tab" button; and I can see my email, but can't click on it. I have firefox 18.0 browser.

I have an HP with firefox browser and icloud.com was working fine on it until last week. I first noticed that I couldn't use my tab on the keyboard to get from the login name to password, but wasn't too concerned until I got into email and couldn't click on anything. I can't read my emails at all in icloud now (on the PC). I did recently forward all other accounts to the my "me.com" account. I don't know if any of that has to do with it, but my hotmail and any other sites are working fine. It seems to be a problem with icloud only and it is also happening on my home PC.

It was working before on Mozilla. The problem with IE is that it constantly crashes and we can't get anything done, so we switched to Mozilla a long time ago. I don't get why this has suddenly become a problem though. Thanks!

Hey guys I figured out how to solve the issue.
You need to go to settings>general>restrictions.
Turn off restrictions and your iCloud and twitter will start working.

My first thought was that maybe when you imported you chose to leave the files in place rather than copy then to the iMovie library..but I can't see where that option is now.
I too have created a short movie from load f clips..but can't export or share either..the 'Share 'menu is empty..you go to it and no sub menu appears.

If you change your email, you do not need to "change" your AppleID. Just edit your email(s) on your Apple ID by logging in to your AppleID account. You should always use the same AppleID for Apple Services (iCloud, iTunes etc) and multiple ID will cause problems and confusion in the future.

Okay, we'll try the technique from the following post. Be sure to be logged in to your usual user account when doing so. (Otherwise you'll be editing the wrong set of HKEY_CURRENT_USER keys.)

If you own a copy of iPhoto 'qq Log into the App store usimg the Apple I'd you used to set up the computer and go to updates to update. If you have an older version of iPhoto or purchased a used system then you must purchase iPhoto version 9.5

I'm not clear on how you're trying to print. When you select Print from the file menu in Pages the current document is already selected. Perhaps you need to show the details in the print dialog. The first screenshot is from Mountain Lion the second from an earlier OS where you click the blue down-facing triangle button (sorry, I can't remember which one).

My first advice is "Back up the device, then have it replaced." Second item of advice, "Don't forget your passcode."
One of the purposes of the lock button is to recover from certain software failures. Without the lock button, such a recovery is nearly impossible. My advice would have served you best when the malfuction first developed, not after you forgot your passcode.

You need to use the old ID and password to delete the iCloud account. After you delete the old account, you can sign in with the new ID in iCloud.

HELP! My MacBook won't boot an OS X DVD and I can't install from elsewhere

Okay, so my cousin completely erased and installed Windows XP by itself on a MacBook, and now it's mine and I'm trying to install OS X on it. I managed to do FWTD mode and erase the drive and partition it as a guid. When I start it up afterwards, it expectedly shows a folder with a question mark, but when I try to hold down C for it to boot the DVD, it just won't. I can boot from my MBP's drive via firewire, and I can mount the MacBooks drive via FWTD mode on another computer, but that's all. When I finally was able to get the installer going on a computer where the drive was externally mounted, it gave me this error: "This destination is not within the first 8 GB of the hard disk." What in the world do I have to do to get OS X installed on this thing??

I'm not exactly sure I follow you ...but are you sure you're booting the Macbook with the Install DVD that is specifically meant for the Macbook? You can only boot your machine with the DVD for that machine ...if this is the case try holding down the 'Option' key on startup, then inserting the DVD, then choosing the DVD to startup with when it appears on the screen.
Then follow the Install guide - if no drive is shown (or grayed) then launch Disc utility and Erase and format the drive as Mac Extended (Journaled).
You can also try holding down the 'D' key when starting from the DVD - this will launch you into the Apple Hardware Test - that can assess the state of your hard drive.
