  • I have two different iCloud accounts. I can't sign into photo stream with my personal account and have tried deleting from my iPhone first, then the MacBook Pro. Still won't let me sign in with the personal account. Please help.

I have two different iCloud accounts - business and personal. I can't sign into Photo Stream with my personal account because it says my business account is my primary account. They are separate but equal accounts. I have tried deleting the iCloud account from my iPhone, then my MacBook Pro and signing in again on both devices. The iPhone says that my primary account ismy personal account (which is good) but my MacBook Pro still will not sign into that account so I can use Photo Stream.
Any suggestions? This iCloud stuff is getting annoying.

you have a ps cs4 license for mac and you have some way of finding your serial number.
if yes, download an install the installation file.  if you already have the installation file, what is its name and file extension?  (eg, if it's one file, it should be a dmg file.)
if you need the installation file,

  • HT201317 I constantly have to sign into Photo Stream on my MacBook. How do you set up Photo Stream to be autonomous on MacBooks?

I'm always signed into iCloud, and I always have 'checked' enable photo stream and automatic import. Does anyone know why I sometimes have to sign into Photo Stream (on my MacBook) when I'm wanting to import photos from my iPhone (over Wi-Fi) to my MacBook?

If you enabled photo stream on your PC after you did so on your iPad, you would only get photos from the last 30 days as photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days (even they remain longer on your device).  Chances are the missing photos were added to photo stream more than 30 days prior to you enabling photo stream on your PC, and as such they are no longer in your photo stream.
To transfer the missing photos from your computer, can them to the camera roll on your iPad (tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll), then import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

  • Can't sign into photo stream.

Can't turn on photo stream, new macbook pro. From iPhoto, turned photo stream on, signed in with cloud, comes back with "you can't sign in at this time" try signing in again. What now?

Try signing out of iCloud in System Preferences and then signing back in.

  • HT4906 Trouble Syncing Photo Stream with iPad

I am using 9.1.5 latest iPhoto yet I am unable to set Photo Stream in iMac system preferences. I am running 10.7.2? Any additional thoughts? The Photo Stream icon in iCloud preferences is grayed out. "iPhoto udate requiered" Puzzled

9.1.5 is not the latest iPhoto. 9.2.3 is, and you need 9.2 minumum and 10.7.4 for Photostream. So, run Softeare Update.

    You can't.

  • HT4906 What does Photo Stream Do?

I'm just upgrading to Mountain Lion and not familiar with all the iCloud services. What does Photo Stream do? Can you limit the photos that go to iCloud storage? Can you allow some pics to be seen by others, but not all? etc.

There is no iCloud storage. Photostream is just a way of importing from one device to many. It never contains more than 1k photos or photos for more than 30 days - which ever limit is reached first.
    http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/photo-stream.html
You don't have to use Photostream. It's not a method of sharing with others.

  • HT4906 How to Photo Stream in iPhoto

"If you installed iPhoto from the iLife ʼ11 DVD, or if it was preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.8 (or earlier), you can update iPhoto with Software Update (choose Software Update from the Apple () menu)."
I fulfilled the bolded text above.  So, why can't I photostream?

"If you installed iPhoto from the iLife ʼ11 DVD, or if it was preinstalled on your computer along with OS X Snow Leopard v10.6.8 (or earlier), you can update iPhoto with Software Update (choose Software Update from the Apple () menu)."
    I have iPhoto 09.
    So, why can't I photostream?
Because as your post explains and as the links I sent explain - you must have iPhoto '11 to use Photo Stream

  • Unable to sign into Photo stream

Apple TV had been working fine. With no clear changes, it just stopped streaming to the TV. When I try to go activate it, it says unable to sign in.
For more information, go to apple.com/support/icloud.
There, I do not see a clear solution and still don't understand why its not signing in anymore. My password is still the same and to my knowledge, hasn't been comprimised. Advice?

I have started getting that about once a week too.  It goes away if I unplug all the cables, including power, on ATV and then plug them back in.  Not a great soluition, but the only thing I have found to work.

  • HT4906 Stuck with iPhoto '09 in Mountain Lion, no Photo Stream

I installed Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard, and I cannot access Photo Stream because I am stuck w/ iPhoto 9.  The support article linked from the greyed out Photo Stream says Snow Leopard Users can update iPhoto with a software update. None available to me.

Do you have iPhoto '09 (version 8.x) or do you have iPhoto '11 (version 9.x)? If you're using iPhoto '09 (the most recent version available from Software Update is 8.1.2) it does not include Photo Stream. If you want iPhoto '11 (the most recent version is 9.3.2) then you'll have to purchase it from the App Store. There is no simple "software update" from version 8.x to version 9.x.

  • Lost Photo Stream Photos after signing out of iCloud

For some reason I've lost all of my Photo Stream photos except for 48 of them.
I changed my Apple ID a couple days ago, and finally got around to signing out of iCloud on my iPhone / iPad to refresh my account as it tells you to in the FAQ somewhere on this site. I checked and all of my Photo Stream pictures were available, then I made sure I backed up everything on iCloud from both devices, then signed out on both my iPhone 6 and iPad mini. I signed back in, and it started to load my Photo Stream but only loaded 48 photos. I'd like to get them all back but I'm not sure how.
They're still all in my phone's Camera Roll, but not in my Photo Stream which means I can't access them from other devices. Is there any way to get them back onto my Photo Stream?

    Hello cbriones95,
I can imagine that Photo Stream issues must be frustrating, but the articles listed below should help you in finding a solition:
Get help using My Photo Stream
I don't see photos from My Photo Stream on my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi.
Make sure that Wi-Fi is on and your device is connected to a wireless network. You can use these steps to troubleshoot your Internet connection on your iOS device.
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photos.
Make sure that My Photo Stream is on. If it’s already on, turn it off and tap Delete. After it turns off, turn My Photo Stream on again.
Close the Camera app on the device that took the photo. Photos won't upload from an iOS device to the Recently Added album (or the My Photo Stream album in iOS 7) until you close the Camera app.
See if your iOS device is below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, downloads and uploads from My Photo Stream are disabled when the battery reaches 20%. Downloads and uploads will continue after you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.
Due to storage limitations, your Apple TV might display only your most recent photos.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    BobbyD
