HT4910 photo stream is not putting pictures on my computer

My pictures are no longer being sent to my photostream folder on my computer.  The photostream folder is on my phone and photostream is turned on in the iCloud control panel on my laptop but the pics will not transfer for some reason.  Help.
Thanks,
Misti

I have had this problem as well.  iPhone 4S, IOS 7, to Windows 7.  In reading an unrelated post, I brought up the iCloud control panel, signed off, then signed on again.  The missing photos magically appeared in my iCloud Photos folder.  Go figure.

  • Apple Photo Stream is not pushing pictures from my iPod to my computer?

I have an iPod Touch 4g with iOS 5.0.1.
iCloud is set up on my iPod and computer.
When I take a picture on my iPod, it does go into the Photo Stream in the Albums, but when I go to check my Photo Stream Folder on my computer the picture is not there....how do I fix this?
I have restarted my iPod and computer.
In Settings>iCloud the Photo Stream is on.
In Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars the Fetch New Data is set to Push, it is ON, the fetch is for every 15 minutes, and under advanced the i Cloud is set to Push.
Why is it not automatically pushing my photos to my computer?
(I know it's set to 15 mins, but even after 30 minutes still nothing.)

Unless you chose to copy full-sized images to the iPod when you synced then all that’s there are tiny thumbnails and they are useless to you, even if you could recover them. They would print about the size of a postage stamp.
the pictures are still playing on my screen saver but I cannot find them anywhere on my hard drive.
These are simply cache files, and not recoverable.
Your best bet is to use a file recovery software on your Mac, such as File Salvage

  • My photo stream will not sync with window 7 computer

    So frustrating!

Disable Photo Stream in the System/iCloud preference pane on your Mac:
and in iPhoto's Photo Share preference pane.
Reboot and reenable both respectively. That should jump start Photo Stream.

  • HT201317 photo stream is not showing up on my computer??

how do i get it to  come up ???

I have the same question. When I take pictures with my iphone, the pictures automatically sync into my iPad.
Somtimes it syncs into my pc, but most of the time they do not. I have to uncheck and recheck the "photostream" options in the pc icloud application. Then it starts to download again, but the icloud app on my pc does not work automatically!

  • HT201317 Has anybody an idea, why my jpeg-picture uploaded to Photo Stream does not appear on my S4 like all the other pictures before? Ok, it's 4 years old, but JPEG and taken with a digital camera...! I'm despaired after trying since days...! Thank you!

Has anybody any idea, why my jpeg-picture upoaded to Photo Stream does not appear on my iPhone S4 like all the other pictures before?
Ok, it's a 4 year old picture, but taken with a digital camera as jpeg...! This cannot be the problem really, but I'm despaired after trying since days...! Thank you all for any hint you've got for me!

If you asking me, I would suggest to additonally use a second storage service which also allows you to store your pictures over the 30 days period. I personally use Dropbox with automatic upload for that (https://db.tt/cMEgDUFZ), but there are also other storage services like Flickr for example.

Check that you have installed the 5.0.2 patch:

The developers may not have made a version compatible with Mac OS X; if they have, it is a separate download.

  • My iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 8.1 laptop or my Windows 7 PC.

I have been going through the forums for the last few weeks and nothing has helped.  Both computers are x64 bit.
    Problems I am experiencing
    A. Windows 7 PC has not synced photo stream since September 25
    B. Windows 8.1 laptop has not synced since a little before that.
    C. I can't upload any photos (.jpegs) to the photo stream.  An error pops up saying that they cann't be uploaded as they are not in a format supported by iCloud, even though they are jpegs.
    D. Photos are syncing ti my ipad 3 perfectly fine, so clearly there is a problem with my computers but I am totally stumped.
I have un-installed, deleted all icloud photo stream folders, restarted and then re-installed the iCloud control panel on both computers, and it has created new folders and re-synced maybe 30 photos before it stopped again.
I have uninstalled every single Apple program on my Windows 8.1 laptop and reinstalled iTunes, iCloud and Quicktime and that didn't help.
I have toggled the Photo Stream on/off button in setting on my iphone, and that seemed to kick start the sync on my Windows 7 PC this morning, so far I've got 70 photos on my Windows 7 PC and that's where it has stopped but its a really random selection, and doesn't include the photos I took yesterday or today.
Two of my colleagues at work where my Windows 7 PC is located - their photo streams are working fine, both using ios7 and icloud control panel, however their computers are x32 bit.
I have also simply logged out and signed in again multiple times, however that doesn't do anything.
I have unticked the "read-Only" permissions on my photo icloud stream folder, but that didn't help either.
I have followed the troubleshooting from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3989 - however that also did not help.
I have tried changing the folder path for iCloud photo stream, however that did not help either.
I tried the steps from someone who said they spoke to an Apple rep (steps copied from forum and I put them in italic) on this forum: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5381738
Anyway, the Apple rep had me sign out of iCloud CC on my PC.
Then on each iOS devices Settings/iCloud/Delete Account.
    Confirmed all the warnings.
Then re-entered my iCloud id and password on the iOS device.
Things restarted and the iOS Photo Streams got loaded with the number of photos that
    iCloud has.
Signed in on iCloud on the PC. It synced the same way.
Tried taking pictures on the iPhone and iPad. They synced everywhere.
    So I'm back in business.
I just deleted everything on my iOS devices when I exited iCloud.
My interest is the PC syncing when I take a photo on my iPhone.
ME: Okay so these steps again refreshed the photostream on my iPhone 5.  I can see that the photos I took yesterday and today have been uploaded to the photo stream as I can see them there on my device.  I have also now signed back into iCloud on my Windows 7 PC and it is slowly syncing again, but just recognising the same photos it downloaded previously as per Step 3 which I did just earlier this morning.
I have also just tried uploading photos via the upload folder from my windows 7 PC, and they uploaded perfectly.
This is really, really frustrating.  I've tried everything I can find on these forums but nothing has helped fix the issue 100%.
Can anyone offer something else I can try to reslove this issue?

Hi all.  I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues.  Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem.  …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive.  Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab.  Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
    Open the Users folder.
    Open your user folder
    Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
    Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco.  The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”.  Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear.  Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?
    Good luck…

  • TS3989 photos in my photo stream do not show up on my windows computer

    Hello All,
I have an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and a Windows laptop. The photos in my Photo Stream are the same on all of the iOS devices but not on my laptop. I have made a Shared Photo Stream to try an upload pictures from my phone to my laptop and still cannot see that. The strange thing is that one or two of the recent photos taken on the same days as the ones in my iOS photo stream are on my laptop photo stream, but not all of them. So it is not a connection or setup problem. Any help?

Do they play in iTunes on the computer?
Are they from a different source or format that the ones that do sync?

  • My iphone4 in Photo stream got 462 pcs pictures but backup to PC Windows base icloud software Photo stream just backup 262pcs pictures, How to backup full pictures to my PC?

My iphone4 in Photo stream got 462 pcs pictures but backup to PC Windows base icloud software Photo stream just backup 262pcs pictures, How to backup full pictures to my PC?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.

  • Shared Photo Stream pics not showing in iPhoto

I have an iPhone 4s running iOS6 and my wife has a new Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion and the latest version of iPhoto.
I created a shared photo stream on my iPhone and sent her the invitation to subscribe.  I also added about 6 photos to the photo stream.  On her mac, she accepts the invitation to the shared photo stream.  Now when she opens iPhoto she sees the photo stream itself but there are 0 pictures in it and even when I add more pictures she never sees them.
    Any ideas?  Thanks!

On your device using iOS 6, try quitting and re-opening the Photos app:
    Quit Photos.
From your Home screen, click your Home button twice. Your open applications should appear in a row at the bottom of your screen.
Scroll to find the Photos icon. Press the icon until the icons jiggle.
Tap the red circle in the upper-left corner of the Photos icon. The icon should disappear from the list.
Tap the Home button again to return to normal operations.
    Also check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, make sure the slider is set to ON, and that your device is connected to a wireless network.
Ensure that Camera app is closed on the device where you took the photo. Photo Stream will not upload photos from an iOS device until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.

  • HT201317 Is there a way to "stream" older photo's to my PC stored on my Iphone before I upset up "Photo Stream?  NOTE:  My Photo Stream "pushing function is working, but I can only push "new" photos to my PC.

Is there a way to stream  "older" photos to my PC that were stored on my Iphone before I implemented "Photo Stream?  NOTE:  My Photo Stream "pushing" function is working, but I can only push "new" photos to my PC.

It might not be streaming but have you considered copying the photos directly off the iphone onto your PC?  I plug my phone in via the USB cable like usual and in Windows Explorer, navigate to Computer\Apple iPhone\Internal Storage\DCIM\860xxxx  and there they are. Copy & paste and you have pictures.
    Hope it helps.

  • HT201317 Can anyone tell me why my photo stream is not loading all of my pics onto my new iPhone 5c. phone plug into iMac, all settings on phone are for photo stream on. it only sent 100 out of 1000. thanks for any help !

Can anyone tell me why my photo stream is not loading all 1,000 pictures onto my new iphone 5c? i backed up my old phone onto the mac and plugged in my new phone then hit backup. it only gave me 100 pictures????? why?
    thanks for any help!

Because photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days, allowing enough time for your devices to download them.  Only shared streams keep photos in iCloud indefinitely.  Your other photos are probably older than 30 days and are no longer in iCloud.
Also, photo stream photos aren't included in your backup, only camera roll photos are.  If you want to include photo stream photos that are not already in your camera roll in your backup, you have to save them to the camera roll before backing up.

You can't simply change the details.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

  • Shared photo stream is not showing up in settings for iPhone 5 or ipad

    Hi there
I am trying to set up a shared photo stream however the option is not coming up on either my iPhone 5 or my iPad (3).
I have tried adjusting the settings (Settings/Photos&Camera/Shared Photo Stream), switching it on & off as well as switching on iCloud again to see if new T&Cs pop up as suggested in other posts - no joy!
    Any other suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.
