I have 2 of the same iPod's and logged onto both with the same as well as different apple ID's and passwords to each respective iPod and the completion of my downloaded songs has disappeared into thin air. Where did it go? How do I get the credit too re-download those songs to the correct iPod? Please help me!! [email protected]

What happens when you try to redownload them?

On a computer go to iTunes>Store>View Account>Sign in and go to purchased history and see if you actually purchased them.

If it's not available in your country and you do not have a copy of it in iTunes backed up on your computer, you don't.

yes it could well do if your bank thinks there is something going on that is not from you they will block it. I have had this problem before, I would of thought they would of phoned me but they don't do that.
If I was you I would go to my bank make sure they are not doing anything like that. If they say it's all fine then i would phone up apple them self or go into my local apple store, as they should be able to look at what there servers are saying why it's not working.

When you say that you lost iTunes do you just mean the program or your content ? Have you checked to see if the content is still on your computer but not in iTunes ?
If not then do you not have a backup of your purchases on, for example, external drives or CDs or DVDs ? If you have then you can copy that onto your computer and add it back into iTunes. If you havn't then if they are still available in the iTunes store (and content is occasionally removed so you should make/maintain your own backups and not rely on re-downloading) and if you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to purchase them, then you should be able to re-download apps and ibooks, and if you are in the US music and TV shows, for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . i previously had 21.97 Gb music, over 6 Gb photos, about 1Gb of apps, and minute amount of audio
now i have no music, 5.4 Gb photos and similar (0.8Gb) for apps and audio. i have deleted heaps of photos and unused apps to try to make space but obviosly this is a much bigger problem. I also created a smaller music folder on itunes to sync to but at present no music is selected for syncing due to the lack of available space.
i have 15Gb icloud account now also which is about half full.
Ive done a little research and heard similar tales but with much smaller other totals than this. Can you help?

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.

What do you mean it's lost? Did you actually put it on the new computer?
Simply installing iTunes and logging into your account does not cause content to magically appear.

How do I get rid of the "other" category on my iPad Air?

iTunes is saying that "other" occupies 1.97GB out of my 16GB tablet and I need to learn how to remove it. I am a long-time apple user with all the apple devices, but can't seem to figure out what causes the "other" category to be so large on any of my devices.

How do I get rid of the "other" space on my macbook air?

I have 11" Macbook Air and mostly use it just for music and as a home computer and do not have a lot of documents or anything that take up a large portion of the storage. When I look at the storage though it has this "other" portion that takes up almost half of my storage. How can I get rid of the "other" space on my computer?

Bearing in mind that 'Other' consists of emails, contacts, appointments, data, document files, OSX and its libraries and more, I would be very careful what you delete. It is not just backup, it is your stuff.

I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
Or get/setup IMAP accounts.

They are all part of one Section. Just as you do not (hopefully) rip pages out at random from books, the pages of a Section are linked by the text that flows from one to the other.
If you want to move or delete particular page/s Insert a Section Break at the end of the page before.
