Your contract with Sprint has a termination clause. Read it. If you terminate the contract early, you will have to pay to do so.

Is it safe to give someone your iPhone serial number, when you want to sell the phone.... So they can 'verify' it?
Probably safer than giving them the IMEI number.
Just use a buyback service like Glyde or Gazelle. -

I'm not too sure if they allow you to just buy the phone without the whole contract thingie.You cannot simply buy another iPhone 3G and put the original SIM card into it - the SIM card is 'married' to the IMEI of the iPhone when it's activated, so the old one won't work in the new phone. However, you can buy another iPhone 3G - but, you (or your friend) will need to pay the unsubsidized price, which is $399/$499 for the 8/16 GB iPhone 3G.
Alternatively, the iPhone Out-of-Warranty Service cost is $199/$299. Out-of-Warranty Service applies to iPhones that are damaged, but not catastrophically damaged (i.e. if your screen is cracked, that's fine, but if your phone is in pieces or it it's been submerged in liquid, that's not repairable and you'll need to pay the unsubsidized cost of a new phone as above). If your concern is about being without a phone, for $29 you can use the Advance Replacement Service, where Apple sends you a replacement iPhone and then you send the damaged iPhone back. Apple does not unlock iPhones, only the carrier that it is locked to can do that. Contact them. If you were sold a phone that was supposed to be unlocked when you purchased it (which is what it sounds like) you should contact Best Buy.

I just tried to access my contacts on my phone and found that the phone screen is unresponsive. Everything else on the iphone works perfectly so it isn't a hardware problem. I have had the phone for about 1 year and haven't had this problem before. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
I can send texts, use the camera, access the apps, etc.Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss) -

Yes. You can add your iTunes library content to your iPhone as well. Then put your Touch up for sale on Craigslist or eBay.

On my screen are these blue lines across on my screen, and i cant see anthing and i do not know what to do. I want to back up my phone but i cant see my screen to back it up. I need help badly. You wouldn't need to see the screen to backup unless you have a passcode on the device. Is that the case? You should be able to plug the device into the computer with iTunes and just select backup now.

I am unable to create a new event on my iPhone with IOS 7.0.4. I tap the plus sign, fill in the details, tape Done and ... nothing. Repeatedly. No problem on my iMac or iPad, just with the phone. Help.
Assuming you're creating this event to place in your calendar, and assuming this calendar is shared with your iMac and iPad using iCloud, might the calendar be restricted on your iPhone?

The phone looked great with no problems and I even got the box with the accesories, so I knew it was his... I then did the reset on the phone (erase all data... from settings) and it went through and activated and everything was good... I used the phone for about a month with no problems at all, even had my apple ID in the icloud and everything... well ios 7.0.6 came out and I used my computer to restore the phone, because I feel that the cord and computer gives it a better restore, it did great no problems, and when it went to the part where I went to activate the phone, I get a enter your apple id and password to complete activation... Wait... why is this up i thought, I thought I did everything like I suppose to to succesfully switch it to me, the new owner... but now its asking for some C******@yahoo.com.... I only have @gmail.com emails and none start with a C... The guy sold me the phone because he was switching to Verizon, and I tried to call him, and now the number is disconnected... I guess he switched to Verizon with a new number... Now im stuck with a paperweight that costed me $200.00... What can I do at this point... Please help me... I restored it to give it to my Step Son as I just got me the iphone 5... Thank you for ANY HELP in advance... Thank you again.

I have added many CD to my iTunes music library and then synched them with my iPhone so that I have all music in both places. Then I could the play them in iTunes or iPhone with no problems. Recently, my iTunes "sees" the music library but won't play any of it becuase "the original could not be found". If I attach my iPhone, then it pays them through the iPhone, but still not through the library in iTunes. How can I get the music library on my iPhone to transfer (i.e. restore it) to iTunes? I have iPhone 4S but have not upgraded to the iOS 6, and have not had any problems until last week. Help! Thanks.
Check the manual for whatever backup program you used, or, if you just copied the files over, copy them that.
