You have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

But the answer is that it doesn't really matter - just make certain to get 1333MHz.

hello there, this is really urgent i would like to ask if there is a way to deactivate/lock my Mini Ipad because it was stolen, i hope you can provide me a way to do so, thank you for the support and i really hop you can help me, i bought this mini ipad not too long ago.
Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating and/or remotely wiping it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you haven't already done so then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model you should also contact your carrier. -
I have dragged soem of my Time Machine folders into the Trash. Now when I try to empty the Trash it says it cannot empty some of the files because the applicaitons are running.
What can I do to delete them and completely empty the Trash.
NOTE: the Trash is on my iMac, not the Time Machine backup drive.

I purchased Adobe Photoshop 8 some years ago and stored and organized my photos there. I now want to revisit these pictures but have forgotten how to get to them. How do I access these old photo's?
Photoshop doesn't store pictures, or organize pictures.
Are you confusing the former (offline for over a year) photoshop.com file storage service, or Elements with Photoshop? -
I have by accident dragged the mac os icon into the trash and can't get it
back, I don't want to empty trash just in case I delete it permanently (not sure if this is poss!). is there any way I can get it back?
What icon are you talking about? Your harddrive? Just drag it back out of the trash and either onto the desktop or wherever it was originally, and you should be fine. You can open the trash can by single-clicking its icon in the dock.

I really need my iChat back, and i can't figure out how to reinstall it!!! I didn't mean to bring it into the trash though, I was deleting old files and accidently deleted the whole application, and emptied my trash. Help please!!!!

I had a fcp events folder on an external drive and moved it to the trash. I then emptied the trash but I now need that project back. Is this possibe at all!
As far as you are concerned the answer is most likely "NO".
Theoretically it is possible to retrieve trashed items assuming you have the technical expertise and equipment of the FBI or if you purchase expensive retrieval software.
Unless the project is of immense financial value it is probably best just to redo it. -
When I put music into the stage and pause it, it keeps playing.
I just started to use Adobe Flash CS6 and I'm having problems. When I import audio to the libary and then drag it to the stage it shows up in the frames perfectly. When I press play it works but when I pause the audio it doesn't pause, it just continues playing and doesn't stop until the audio ends. This makes it extremely hard to sync up the animation to the audio !
Please help !click on the keyframe where you added your sound. in the properties panel change the sync property from event to stream. retest.

Mountain Lion sets your Apple ID for Messages app, so you can use iMessage and you can see your messages from other iPhones, iPads and iPods touch with your Apple ID.
To disable this, open the Messages app, go to Messages menu (on the menu bar) > Preferences > Accounts, choose iMessage in the sidebar and turn off this account -
How do I remove Avast from Safari?
"Avast" is perhaps the worst of the whole wretched lot of commercial "security" products for the Mac. Not only does it fail to protect you from any real danger, it throws false warnings, destabilizes and slows down the computer, and sometimes or always corrupts the network settings and the permissions of files in your home folder. Removing it may not repair all the damage.
Back up all data, then remove "Avast" according to the developer's instructions. Restart.
If you tried to remove Avast by dragging an application to the Trash, you'll have to reinstall it and then follow the instructions linked above. -
I downloaded the entire Beatles collection from iTunes in 2011. Some songs skip and won't play. Some albums won't sync to the phone but they sync to my iPad. I've deleted the entire music library from my iPhone, shut the phone down, turned the phone on and synced again to add the music but now 2 albums won't even sync (Rubber Soul and Revolver). I've tried dragging the songs to the iPhone, no luck. Any thoughts?
Sounds like you may need to re-download the entire albums from iTunes. See this KB article for how to download past purchases: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519.
I'd suggest doing it one album at a time. Delete one, download it from your purchase histor, then the next, etc.
