It sounds like you are not getting the email to reset your password. If you have a rescue email setup for your Apple ID, the reset password email will be sent there and not your Apple ID email address:
When you provide a rescue email address, all future security emails, such as password resets from iForgot, will be sent to the address provided.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

HT201240 Macbook goes into "Safe Boot" mode when I start it but it will not accept my password to complete the boot.

When I start my Macbook it tries to start in Safe Boot mode and it will not accept my password. I have tried to reset the password by inserting the "Mac OS X Install" disk and restarting while pressing C but that process has no effect. The same Safe Boot screen appears and again it will not accept my password.
I am not sure what version of MacOS X I have as the disk is now in the machine and it will not eject.
Any suggestions?

You can eject the disc by depressing the track pad/mouse at startup.
Are you depressing the Shift key at startup to make the Mac boot in Safe Mode?

That's not easy. The Windows migration tool makes a new user account, and you can't prevent it.
You may be able to transfer what you want manually, but it's not quick or easy. See Transferring files from one User Account to another.

I upgraded from Snow Leopard to the latest Mountain Lion OS and now my Wifi will not work. When I try and insert the password to my Wifi network states either 'connection timed out' or 'password and/or user name not recognised' please help...!

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried, until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
Restart the router. Many problems are solved that way.
Step 2
Change the name of the wireless network, if applicable, to eliminate any characters other than letters and digits. You do that on your router via its web page, if it's not an Apple device, or via AirPort Utility, if it is an Apple device.
Step 3
From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
Click the Assist me button and select Assistant. Follow the prompts.
Step 4
Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Enter the name of your wireless network in the search box. You should have one or more "AirPort network password" items with that name. Make a note of the name and password, then delete all the items. Quit Keychain Access. Turn Wi-Fi off and then back on. Reconnect to the network.

Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.

I loaded 3 email accounts into my new ipad2 but can only read the 1st one.

And...I can't find All Mail...how come?

I found out the reason on my own.The reason why I couldn't read the other two email accounts was because my ram memory was over loaded. To shut off unused apps. Double tap the home button. See the apps on the bottom of the screen. Hit the little red minus signs in the icons to remove these apps from ram. After removing all of them, the mail started working right. These ipads only have a half a gig of ram...which isn't much.

Well I guess I used the same email for my new iPad mini from my iPod and if I try to buy something I put my right password then it asks me some security questions like what was your first car I don't even have a car! Please help?

You can choose which questions to answer. The answer does not have to have any basis in fact - the critical thing is to REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAID. If you decide to say your first car was a Bugattii Veyron, that is no problem, as long as you remember to answer Bugatti Veyron if the question is ever asked in the future.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

otherwise try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps(If works in Windows Safe mode then you have a problem with other software, like security software[antivirus, firewall] or a system driver, that is running on your computer).

It seems that you have used the AppleIDs to "Purchase" your devices, which marries the two for all time and eternity.

Use iTunes on your computer. With the iPad connected, sign into your Apple account and check for updates.
Doing this should straighten out the problem.

Did you try deleting the mail account, then adding it back? I've read a lot of times that is what needs to happen in order for it to work properly.

Well, I spoke too soon. Yes, I'm using the same account on both iPads, but I just changed my password for the umpteenth time and now I get the disabled message on both iPads. ATV2 does not have permanent storage. The rental is flushed when the device is turned off or other content accessed. You would need to use your computer to rent (and home-share to ATV) if you wish to store for a later time.
